Mc Muffinstine's task is a really short and really basic plattformer with about 3 levels to jump through.
It was made in 5 days and whatever story bit there was planned, it is gone and left only in fragments. You play it in the browser, so do not expect to see it in big.

There is a planned underlying story, namely that a group of villanous dogs try to blow up the world with rockets - but due to time constraints, none of it is explored.
You start the game without any knowledge, you see dogs waiting around with no purpose whatsoever, and then find the rockets and realize you just saved the day.
The dialogue is non-existant. You get an ending, and instructions.

Graphics are very basic .. I cannot agree with it being the worst graphics ever made, but they are simple mud/grass blocks with nothing to spice things up and a fairly muddy template. Plus a cloudy sky background.
The arrangement is for gameplay purposes only and results into odd-looking, angular islands floating around.

Good to know.

Gameplay is simple and straightforward - you can jump with s and run. Holding a you can run faster and jump further (not higher) - with this and lots of manoveurebility midair you have to make your way across the plattforms, trying not to bump your head on the edges.
It is mildly frustrating as there will be a couple of "tough" bits right after another, and you will have to replay all of them should you fall down before you passed the entire stages.
But I also realize this is just how the genre works and you can finish it without too much of a headache if you keep to it. The small size of it also helps to not get frustrated.
I found it to be more guesswork to get the exact timing, as I really could not keep track of where you bump and where you can pass.

Still, it plays solidly enough, it just lacks aesthetic, a frame, a music and all other little nice details that could make it more fun.
