Description of game will be updated before release.

It is recommended that you search Animal Crossing, or have played an Official Animal Crossing by Nintendo, if not you may get a bit confused and lost, the game does tell you how to do stuff, and what you need, but it really helps if you are familiar with Animal Crossing!

**Note this game is being updated to RMMZ in the future, this version will remain however.

'Animal Crossing' music, along with the Tree graphics, grass graphics, furniture and house graphics belong to Nintendo. The name 'Animal Crossing' used in game form or in 'FinkHeavy' font is a registered trademark of Nintendo. In no way do I own or make profit off of Nintendo's work! Do not sell this game for profit! The characters in this game were created by me and are no way endorsed by Nintendo

I believe it's the same one, I have so many versions on my PC but this one seems to match the last time I updated. Not sure why it would say modified 2013 when I did modify some the other day haha

But I re-uploaded that one because I decided to take my improvements over to Rpg Maker MZ as it runs smoother and I know JavaScript much much more than Ruby so I was able to do more things! I added to the blog post above.
Redownloading it and the download says "2018 version", and its also still encrypted. are you sure you re-uploaded the right one? Also, I don't see any files that had ever been modified later than 2013.
I'm glad to hear you're still plugging away at it, most likely. Best of luck!
Hey thanks for the feedback. I know years later right? I started getting into Python a few years back and doing scripting with c# for work, actually going back into this game and refining stuff and using script knowledge to simplify things and I'm actually doing some things you mentioned! And if I get to reuploading a much better version I won't encrypt it haha.
So, I played this game last night and being a long-time animal crossing fan, I can tell this game has potential, but there's a lot of things that could stand to be changed for the sake of player experience.
-acre entry locations: it appears you put those in manually, with limited spots where one can go to the next acre. I would personally suggest having acre transfers handled by a parallel process which checks player location and direction. (My current game project has this sorta setup and it is so much easier to work with than the manual method)
-day/night timing and tints: time runs too damn fast in this game. I know it's easier to debug when it uses fast time, but personally, I think it goes too fast. Maybe have it be five seconds is a minute instead? Also, the tints are kinda all over the place concerning time of day. Sometimes it's suddenly dark, sometimes it's not quite as dark, sometimes everything is bathed in obscuring orange, but often this doesn't always match up well with displayed time of day, and not all tints look as good in action. Also, the bgs is waaaay too loud.
-confusing menu system: your ring menu looks neat, but not only is it hard to see the tiny icons, but it also doesn't omit enough of the extra things which your game doesn't use, such as skills and anywhere-saving. There's also a lot of menu features that seem only slightly edited from the stock rmxp menus, in a way that doesn't fit the animal crossing mood.

I was gonna try and fix that stuff myself, but unfortunately the files were encrypted. Honestly I should be focusing on my own game right now and you're probably well past moved on with this game, but who knows? Maybe this game could shine brighter with some bugfixes and quality-of-life changes?
At least trying desperately to find the save spot last night (took me an entire in-game day to do this) was a decent distraction from my sore leg.
Hey, Although this is sorta old, I was wonder where these sprites come from, and where I can get them? Anyone?
Sorry, I would not have the resources or abilities to make this work on a tablet. However if at anytime someone made an app or something else to allow RPG Maker XP games run on a tablet, then there is a possibility this will run. I did have an RPG maker app for my Samsung phone and some games worked and some didn't. This one unfortunately didn't; I assume because of some of the scripts in use and amount of custom things.
Hey can you make it for tablet I would really like to play it looks awsome I hope you reply or read this,Thank You!
Press enter towards the building on the stone path to enter. I was sure I put something to indicate that, my bad. Thats how you enter it though :P
How do I get into Nook's Cranny? There seems to be no door.
Awww, I'd love to read a review on this. Too bad it didn't get approved (yet?)
I really love this game. I wrote a review but I'm not sure if it'll get accepted.

Yeah I can't install the game either. Not all the files are included.

When I try to run AC3.exe, it finishes extracting, but says "Extract Failed", and all that has been extracted is the Audio folder.

All files should be there, there should be a .002 file and a .exe. It's vital that you extract both at the SAME time, not one after the other. They must be both selected and extracted.

This is the WRONG way, which might be the way you are doing, as it gives me the audio folder only.

You MUST do it like this, you will get all the needed files.

I've tested this way multiple times on various computers. I cannot troubleshoot it any further, it's either error by the person attempting to install it, or possibly a corrupt file and you may need to redownload. Also I use 7zip, it was not tested with any other unzip program, this could also be an issue, but I can't see it.

I cannot install the game. I extracted both files with WinRar and started the .exe then, but it crashes after half of the installation or so.

Hey, Sorry for your troubles, I've updated to an extremely updated game, I would recommend giving it a go. If it's still causing you a problem let me know.
Ok I keep getting an error and it says;

Script 'Menu*' line 227: Errno::ENOENT occurred.
No such file or directory - Graphics/Icons/044-Skill01

I'm not sure if this is a download error or what, but do you know how I may be able to fix it? I really wanna play this!
I keep getting "Extract Failed" When I perform an extraction.
I'm gettin script location line 46 rgsserror occured.

failed to create bitmap

Fixed

If anyone has this issue as well its because you didn't put font under the font folder in windows
