Miscellaneous

A poetic recollection of the development process.

4hr Game Event - Time Management Breakdown:*

16:30 - Think about making a game based on Godfrey Ho's crappy ninja films.
16:35 - Ask my mom about classic films I can defile by making horrible game sequels of (fyi - She suggested "Gone with the Wind" - which I've never seen)
16:40 - SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION!
16:45 - Start making title screen (most important thing in any rm game)
17:00 - Finish making title screen, start drawing Morgan Freeman as a rectangle.
17:15 - Still drawing Morgan Freeman as a rectangle, also working on abs system.
17:45 - Still messing with Rectangle Morgan Freeman, also drawing Zombies, abs system mostly done (meaning it works with ONE enemy)
18:00 - Still making zombies and stuff.
18:15 - Abandon my plans for all-custom graphics.
18:30 - Gathering/Importing resource frenzy ensues.
18:45 - Chipset, System set & sound FX sorted/changed.
19:00 - Mapping begins.
19:15 - Half a map done, couple of enemies.
19:30 - Start making on-screen graphics for "show picture".
20:00 - After lots of changes and fiddling, on-screen graphics sorted/working. Start panicking. Start frenzied event duplication to make more enemies.
20:15 - Finish map off
20:25 - Add one more enemy and the worst "game-ending" ever.
20:30 - DONE.
