Introduction:

This is a story about the world of Verona which is on the verge of falling into a downward spiral. A series of events happening in the world is making life increasingly hostile. Natural disasters, demons, an impending war between
the two biggest kingdoms of the world, and uncertain events are on the rise.

The story follows Ayri. She hails from the province of Madera. She grew up in her younger years as any normal person would grow up with. However, she felt a shame in living off of her parents and left at the tender age of 15 to pursue an interest in Hunting in the faraway eastern kingdom of Kelvana. She ended up living in a small village named Luma to better her interest.

Naturally, Ayri was a true sport at hunting. Prey literally fall over dead in Ayri's presence. She became a great asset in aiding Luma's growth and well-being since Luma needn't worry about food and hides thanks to Ayri's exceptional abilities.

Ayri has a friend named Sash who is going to embark on a religion mission to learn more about the faith of Kelvana. Sash trusts Ayri and has given her caretaker's charge of his wealthy house in Luma. Ayri gladly accepted to take care of his house as she got to live in his house and temporarily claim it as her own. Sash said not to get too comfortable because he will be back.

Now in charge of a house with little else to do but hunt, Ayri was getting cocky and lazy. Her style has been lessened lately and she strives for little to nothing beneficial in her life. Ayri is so inept and out of touch with reality. She has no idea that there are disasters, great demons, war, and other events occurring in the world.

One day, a friend of Ayri's named Darryl told Ayri he needs Blue Jelly for something personal. Ayri said she would hunt the Blue Jelly. So, Ayri does just that but instead of hunting the jelly in a well-known environment, she goes off on some detour and ends up in a precarious situation. She has no idea how this one event is going to completely turn her life into a complete and living nightmare...

Main Characters:

Ayri: 27 years old. Hunter. Female. Race: Elf.

Ayri is a skilled hunter. She is currently in a state of chaos and is open to some kind of change in her life. Lately, all Ayri does is hunt wild game for good for her home village of Luma. When she is at home, she is extremely lazy, uncaring, and seemingly oblivious to the events of the world. Just by complete randomness, Ayri one day is confronted with events and strife that she had no idea could ever happen with someone such as herself.

Naikou: 23 years old. Neko Fighter. Female. Race: Cat Woman.

She wanders the lands looking for adventure and anything random in her way. She can be a very sweet and fun-loving gal. She sometimes seems dependable and other times quite the opposite.

Yrilisi: 29 Years old. Dark Mage. Female. Race: Elf.

She specializes in forbidden magics such as Dark Magic and Soul Twisting. Overbearing and uncooperative, she usually has things go the way she wants one way or another. She has a knack for taking interest in the darker sides of life. Her true motives are unknown.

Vice: 31 Years old. Elementalist. Male. Race: Human.

A mage that specializes in the elements. Coming from Aralon, he has a great deal of experience and knowledge in the field of magic. Most who tangle with him, end up as yesterday's casuality. He is not inherently violent, though. He seeks knowledge about the the past and our ancestors. He does this because he believes the world is in great danger and knowledge of the past can be a boon in fighting the evils to come.

Janko: 58 Years old. Warrior. Male. Race: Human.

He is an old warrior and a former hero for the Kingdom of Kelvana. Janko single-handedly took down a jaded king and his elite guard and gave Kelvana a new start. He is a firm believer in god. Everyone in Kelvana respects him and what he has done. He is currently trying to prevent a war from escalating into a full-blown armageddon between Kelvana and Aralon.

Selland: 43 years old. Lancer. Male. Race: Human.

An exiled Kelvanan Lancer. He faught against his own kingdom to try to prove the innocence of his brother who had supposedly committed the crime of robbing royalty. Princess Obelia, the one who convicted his brother, struck him down in a fight and banished him from his Knighthood and from the kingdom. What happened to his brother remains unknown. All he can do now is look for work outside of the castle-kingdom of Kelvana.

Looks like a demo is up: About how long is the gameplay right now?
I usually don't play demos cause I hate teasers getting me all excited and then having to wait for the completed project, but I'll probably give it a go and tell ya what I think. Overall seems like a decent story, of course it has a big impact on how well of a story teller you are. I'll update when I finish the demo, looks interesting so far which is good, usually peoples first project doesn't catch my eye =P

Alright, aside from little things like walking over the desk at the pub, and bookcases and such it honesty seems like a pretty solid rpg. Where the hell do you find the pouch? I ended up getting eaten by the tiger =P Anyway subscribed, I plan to take a look at this again in a later date when you have more finished, I'd definatly say to finish cause it seems like it'd be a pretty good game overall. A little more direction for things your looking for would be nice, but not overly needed I'm sure if I looked a little longer I probably coulda figured it all out. As I said though, I usually don't like spending too much time on demos cause I hate teasers =P For your first game though I think you did a great job.
Thanks for the kind words! And yeah, I need more direction in my game. It was only when I was putting out a demo that I found things that I never noticed before. By the way, the pouch can be found from the horse after getting the animal foods item.

I still feel bad about the looping event in the south-east house(which I fixed by the way). Oh my god that was bad. I never go in that house! So I tested the game and I found out about it and yeah. Making an RPG is pretty tough! Lot of things that I think I will fix but forget a moment later when I find other more interesting looking errors to fix. :P
Yeah I had the animal food, thats when I started checking the animals and I was thinking of that sheep the girl kept saying she needed to get rid of. Paid mister tiger a visit and I guess he was hungry =P
I just played your demo and it was the most terrible game I have ever played. There were many wall glitches, the character's were foul tongued and the story line made me want to punch myself in the face.
I'm sorry that my game is the most terrible game you have ever played :(

This is my first game and I am trying my best. I hope I can make it better.

Don't worry. Most first attempts aren't great. I'm still trying to get something out, myself. However, it doesn't seem all that bad. Just fix the few things that have already been brought to light.
Thanks for your input, BareGamer :)

My main gripe with my game is the story. I'm not even sure where to go with it. The story I had in the 1st demo has gone through some changes. I'm trying to make it similar but different.

Sometimes I feel my game's setting and overall feel is fundamentally flawed but I'll see what I can do with it.
I know what I said was harsh and I am glad you took the criticism well. Taking harsh criticism can really help you make a great game. Just keep working at it. Remove swearing, wall glitches and tinker with the story.

Actually, swearing in video games can help set a more mature theme. However, the swearing has to be used correctly and not over-used or replaced with the modern street talk that we've created today.
This game looks like it's going to turn out amazing. Much praise towards you. If you ever need help, feel free to talk to me.c:
@ZakkuKun
Thanks! I've been re-doing the game from the ground up. I want the game to be better than my last demo was.
I cannot continue to work on this game any longer. Reason being that my computer crashed and that crash deleted everything off of my main drive and my game, Tales of Chaotica, along with it.

It was fun, though. Might try to make another game eventually, but I am really just not sure right now.
