In the original game Kelbesque simply walks around and summons homing rocks.
I wanted him to be more realistic here. He can walk and dash, take a quick step backwards, slash and summon spinning axes.
In the second fight much later in the game, he'll have at least one new attack, just as in the original game.
True. I noticed that also on the NES version. I'm almost done with that by the way. I know this is irrelevant to the post, but do you plan on adding bonus content such as bosses or seccret dungeons? Just curious ;)
Of course! In v0.1, Mortarmech and Pyrogryff were original bosses as you already know. In v0.2 you will fight three of the Finest Four (the first one being General Kelbesque as seen here) and I will add four new bosses as well (the first one being Aryllis, Queen of the Amazons).

Regarding Dungeons in v0.2, the Life Tree is a new one, but aside from it I didn't add any new dungeon. I even removed one that was in the NES game because it didn't had any purpose in the remake (it's the Kirisa Plant cave). I actually fused the Kirisa Plant cave and The Fog Lamp cave together, made it an optional dungeon, and changed the reason why players would want to explore it. It also has an optional, new boss.

The next versions of the game will also feature plenty of new content and twists. For instance, the whole Thunder Sword chapter will be quite different than in the NES game. I don't want to spoil much though, so I won't give much more information than that for the time being :)
