Having some problems here, Python still don't want to talk with wand.
Still investigating what I've may have misplaced but, I'm sorta running out of clues.
But I have to admit that I didn't quite follow the instructions in order at first.

Have a screen cap, cause I like pictures.

I think I found your problem: According to your screenshot you have the "Q8" version of ImageMagic installed, and python wand specically asked you to install the "Q16" flavour. The primary difference is that Q8 is a bit faster and a bit lower in qualatiy.

The secondary difference is that the libs will probably have a different name which is probably why the can't be found.

=> Try deinstalling ImageMagic and reinstalling using this version (64 bit!) or that one (32bit)

EDIT: anothwer thing: you seemed to have copied the tool to a place which contains a subdirectory named "parts" ... guess where extract.py wants to put the extracted layers.

If I'm wrong ... see below for my initial answer,

PS: the download page for ImageMagic is a pain in the nether region (millions of files and you can't even read their names without mouse hovering ...).

PPS: If you do need the Q8 version for some reason ... there's a way to have both of them installed, but that's a bit tricky.

PPPS: Oh - they have a 7.x version now ... Well it should be safer to stick to 6.9 for the time being as this is what python wand is expecting.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Yikes.

OK. The usual checklist:
(The error message says it can find the "python wand" module, but this module can't find ImageMagick's shared lib.)
  • Did you reboot your box after installing ImageMagick?
  • Did you install the development libs when you installed ImageMagix (like this )
  • Did you use the same platform (32 or 64 bits) when installing python and ImageMagic?
  • What happens if you just open a cmd.exe and run "convert" or "identify"?

My current best bet is that you forgot to install the C-bindings ...

There are two other things I noticed. The URL in the error message points to http://docs.wand-py.org/en/latest/andsoon ... and that's where the "bleeding edge development" version of wand lives. ... the latest stable version is currently 0.4.3

And I noticed that you seemed to have installed the "Q8" version of ImageMagic. I used ... oh ...
Note to self: extremly happy endings are hard to tell in an interesting way ...

At least if you'd like to use more words then just "they lived happily ever after" ...
Took quite longer than it should, as usual, but here it is. ^^

The 3th edition of the edits! uh, that sounded weird.
Although the number of options is practically the same, this time around, the layers are further divided to make re-color tasks a much easier.
It comes with side-effect though, this version of the PSD will become a complete havoc of layers unless handled on Photoshop or Garage's tachie generator. (download two posts below)

As a bonus, I've included some of the parts made for "Ritova's Mansion" facesets.

- Angry shadow (Half head cover)
- Marina's "Reaper" Eyes
- Twisted Smile
Iris's eyes and Blood splatters not included.

Would you like to walk Marina back to her mansion?

But, let me make a minor disclaimer about those 3 parts in particular.
Coming from a Halloween project, they are basically a "Yandere starter pack", no problem with that.
However, regardless of the fact that I sort of like those type of characters, I don't want to see my girls being targets of one, and I'm very sure that the other content creators think the same regarding theirs as well, they were not written for this kind of story.
It's strongly recommend to include custom characters, of own creation, to perform such role.

I think I finally could reproduce your problem: the link I posted for the python download is a bit ... unlucky. If you just click on "Donwload python 2.7.x" on top of that page, you'll get the 32bit version on Windows.

So it's fairly likely to accidentally install a 32 bit python and a 64bit ImageMagick ...

I'm preparing an improved version of tachiegen soon (TM).

It will - hopefully - be MUCH easier to install, and it will be able to use your new improved .psd-File

EDIT: fixed the download link.

Just so to make me understand your intention: you'd be OK with somebody using these parts to create a psychoticly jealous char, as long this char isn't going after ... say ... Eliza?

Exactly, no problem with the char itself, we even had a few betas of that type in the past. ^^
But don't make her chase up a char from other creator, (i.e. Eliza, Yuu, Izumi) without prior authorization from the creator/caretaker.

I think it might help to consider custom content as the intellectual property of their author. As such, it is best to have the author's express consent to allow edits, expansions, or inclusions of said content into other content. If this consent cannot be granted for whatever reason, any content that is made with another person's content must be separate from the original content.

If that makes any sense.

Fair enough ... I wouldn't want someone like ... Seira attack my poor Himeko.

You are very right. And I just noticed that I did violate this simple rule myself ... is there any way to ask flowerthief's permission for using his Built-ins in the way I did with my first content-package?

I don't see any external-from-RMN contact information for flowertheif on either his profile here or via a query to Mr. Help File. I don't see anything on the official site either.

In this situation, I feel content geared toward the built-in characters (like "multiending") would fall under the category of "consent cannot be granted", and thus, would need to be separate from the original content. The way "multiending" is set up, it already does this, as stories there have a basis on the original content.

*Edit: Forgive me, but, I am inclined to speak against successive posts, Garage. Like, I think you could have added that response to your earlier post with minimal affect on the conversation at hand.
Here's the new version of my tachie-generator.

Just download tachigen-32bit.zip, extract it to an empty folder and then get the 11/05/2016 version of Kevincalanor's HTC-TachieWorkshop.psd published here.
Put this in the same directory.

The directory now should contain: setup.cmd, tachiegen.cmd, HTC-TachieWorkshop.psd and a folder named tachiegen.

After that - just start setup.cmd - this probably runs for several minutes.
When it's finished it'll wait for you to hit ENTER. Please check the output for error messages first. The last line should read something like
Copy addins\addins.json to parts
If it finished without errors, just run tachigen.cmd and enjoy.

That's it. No installing python or anything. I tested it on 32bit Windows 7 and 64 Windows 10 ... so it should run basically on any current version.

@Marrend: sorry. I will try to produce less noise in the future.

*EDIT*: dramtically improved the resource usage, fixed/worked-around several graphical "glitches".

For those who'd like to bother with installing python etc.: take this version.

*EDIT 2016/11/22*: added a tutorial, some minor fixes, better error handling, renamed coloring modes.
Not to get anyone's hopes up
not that anyone who'd care is still around
but I'm checking back into this game, and possibly reviving/rewriting my old project. It's been a while and I know I've already said that once before, but this time I hopefully actually mean it.

But first I'll need to play literally every route to root out all the OCD things like shared character themes.

*gasp*

Welcome back BasedMG!

In more seriousness, I suppose the only thing I can really say here is good luck with the whole "play all the routes" plan!
it's also so I can make sure I don't accidentally steal anyone's ideas

Ironically, I post this despite having about five different game projects that I'm working on, therefore causing Heartache Custom Content to remain on the backburner. ^.^;
Nice to see some familiar faces back around ^^ (I'm afraid I didn't actually met BasedMG but welp, I saw posts. lots of em. Hayos btw.)

"post this despite having about five different game projects that I'm working on"

Either you choose the custom content or one of the projects, just take it easy and remember that not all games/content needs to be blockbusters.
May sound like the old underachiever talk, but that's what's keeps one (me at least) from ditching or halting forever a project when a scene/mechanic ends out of reach, and something always will, even for major makers I'd risk my cents to say.
Because variables, script, coding, programming... did I mention scripts? (and grammar)

Perhaps one. Perhaps all. That is my answer.

Actually, most of my active projects are running on this logic. I just seem to have some sort of Disorder that causes my Attention to be in... Deficit...
That's no excuse. =.=;
But having that probably 'helps' me to generally rapid fire swap what I'm working on at any one time. It's a miracle that I have a small cluster of game projects that I've been working on thoroughly, instead of a few dozen that I start up and stop. (Actually, there is one project that is finished in the form of being perfectly playable, it's just that I'd like to expand it's size a bit and add story... maybe replace some stand-in art... optimize a thing or two... ^.^;)

Sometime, surely, but for now I only have this one last day of reliable internet access. I will likely be gone for months again and can't indulge in discussion of much for now. T^T

... There's a decently good chance I will return with some new parts for use in Heartache Tachie. My digital skills have improved recently, and drawing tachie parts might be a fun/productive-ish use of my excess of free time. :D
Current beta of WingGirl / Pathways:
All routes to Mayumi and Merika should be playable. Shika is disabled for now.

WingGirl
Pathways

Pathways is an extension to WingGirl and thus requires it to be installed, too. Clean mode can be ON (or off)
@Marrend: what's your policy on me using Emiko/station_night.jpg in my content? Shall I copy it over to my project or shall I just reference it like this.

PICTURE = Emiko/station_night.jpg

(and include an almost empty Tachie\Emiko folder within my project). (Provided I am allowed to use it in the first place)
