Huh. According to the "Manage Games" screen, the download for version 2.5 was last updated in 2014. I'm not sure what to make of that.
As for the picture for Winggirl - Pathways, my logic was that there was a profile included, and it was Shika's. So, even if she's not particularly well-implemented (at least right now), the "cover" for that content should include her.

Huh. According to the "Manage Games" screen, the download for version 2.5 was last updated in 2014. I'm not sure what to make of that.
I extracted both downloads (under Linux) and ran a compare:
~/cmp> diff -r 201* Binary files 2015/Heartache 101 v2.5/Game.rgssad and 2016/Heartache 101 v2.5/Game.rgssad differ diff -r "2015/Heartache 101 v2.5/Story/Built-in/game_stories_7.txt" "2016/Heartache 101 v2.5/Story/Built-in/game_stories_7.txt" 1254c1254 < (Akari chased the poor boy around the roof.) --- > (Hinami chased the poor boy around the roof.) Only in 2015/Heartache 101 v2.5/Tachie/Built-in: Thumbs.db Binary files 2015/Heartache 101 v2.5/Thumbs.db and 2016/Heartache 101 v2.5/Thumbs.db differ
But it seems there's a slight bugfix for one of Hinami's stories too.
(Akari wouldn't chase someone around!)
And - above all - a change to Game.rgssad ... as far as I understand that's basically the game itself.
I'm pretty sure that I haven't been around this place in 2014 ...
author=MarrendWell ... how about this, then (no the scene isn't really part of pathways - not yet)

That change sounds oddly familiar. That post was made on the exact date of that update too. Interesting. I can't speak of/to any changes to Game.rgssad, though.

Sure. Give me a bit to update...

On the other hand, there's a (minor) size change (less then one KB) too, so my guess is that there was at least a minor change to the content ...
... the build-in STORY aren't (for whatever reason) part of what's bundled into Game.rgssad?
EDIT: Nevermind. My first download was from the official site. (I redownloaded it from there and the file was identical to my very first download).
Seems like that final change never made it there ...

Since I totally forgot to update at the end of Jund June, the next update will be at the end of Jeskai July. The cut-off date for new, or updated, content will be the 22nd.
As a total aside, I might want to double-check some of the "credits.txt" files from Garage's content. They tend to extract to the directory where the edit/graphic is, and one was rather lazy in over-writing them ;_;

My current scheme is something like that: Most of my stuff uses graphics from several different sources namely "Studio 74" (that's where the original backgrounds came from too), and two background packs published here.
No matter which of my stories uses a certain Picture, the file is placed into a directory named after the source not the content using it. For example both Nadeshiko and Kitsune both use "SOSC/Park Int N.jpg"
Do you have a better solution for organizing stuff and paying credit?
I had to double-check this, but, apparently, I just put all the content associated with a character (or character pack) into one directory! Though, now that I'm looking through the files, I seemed to have slipped up in regards to Emiko, and "station_night" being totally uncredited to Sudio 74 in any way. Welp! At least have a credit-via-file-name system in place for the graphics pulled from the SOSC pack?
I'm a little bit better with music, as there's a "music_reference.txt" in my music directories. There's also a credit-via-file-name system there, though, I don't nessessarily provide a text-link to the original source like Wolfpack does for it's "music_reference.txt" file.
*Edit: It's also true that Emiko might be the only content I have that pulls from either Studio 74, or the SOSC pack. Hrm. I'm not sure if I have an answer for you.

OCCD has been updated! This should include Nadeshiko and Grace Tanaka (was Grace there before?). Description update should follow tomorrow.
This file must have taken three hours to upload with my connection ;_;

author=MarrendI fear there are two problems with my contributions as published here.

1. Somehow WG_Pathways/pathways.txt starts with an invalid char (UTF-8 indicator thingy). @Marrend: it looks like you edited the file (There's a reference to Tachie/Emiko in there which had to be changed since the file was renamed ...). And somehow your editor thought it would be a great idea to add this indicator.
Darn ... I use words like "cliché" in this text ... so it isn't plain ASCII ...
I do that in a few others too, I will stop it.
2. (MINOR) There's a tmp-file in Story/Nadeshiko which shouldn't be there but seems to be ignored by the game anyway.
EDIT: ... and of course there's still that bug with a condition in Kotone's STORY 1202
*EDIT* Re-Uploaded all my stuff:
multiending_v1.zip
winggir_v2_0.zip
wg_pathways_v2_0.zip
kitsune_v1_0.zip
And the unfinished Nadeshiko
All those packs should work just fine stand-alone or when included in the OCC.
(Story/WG_Pathways/masako-ref._txt might be renamed to Story/WG_Pathways/masako-ref.txt in that case).
I definitely double-checked the reference to Tachie/Emiko that's in Pathways for the OCCD. It's a bit weird, since stand-alone Emiko will have the original reference because I am lazy. I did not notice any invalid characters, though.
I will probably never fix that bug for Kotone. I mean, it's an easy bug to squash, don't get me wrong, but... I dunno.
Anyway, the description of included content has been updated! Let me know if I forgot something, or if there needs to be an edit, or whatever!

Invalid is a big word ;)
I used some fancy french accented letters and a Yen sign in some places.
Those aren't normal ASCII. Game.exe doesn't care much and displays them correctly.
BUT: Some Windows editors notice "Hey that stuff is UTF-8 encoded, we should provide a byte order mark".
And Game.exe doesn't like those.
It's probably too much trouble, but it would be extremely nice if you'd include the fixed versions of my stuff (posted directly above).

I can't say I'm looking forward to doing another update so soon. However, because I'm a
OCCD updated. This includes a fix to Kotone's story in regards to "CONDITION = 1202", but, keep in mind this bug would persist in the stand-alone version.
*Edit: Also, "masako_ref.txt" of Winggirl - Pathways has been set to being always active. The notes have been summarily altered to reflect these changes.

Alas, I forgot to add Hibiko's profile to masako_ref.txt.
The first line should read:
WG_Pathways/shika_profile.txt, Masako/masako_profile.txt, WG_Pathways/hibiko_profile.txt
Download updated!
From what I can tell, there is no new content with this update. However, what content there is should be up-to-date as of the most recent release, to the best of my knowledge. Comments have not been edited/altered at this time.

Forgive the delay on this, but, yes, this list, and download, has been updated!
Garage's "Rivalries" should now be included. I did what I could with the table formatting in adding it, but, as you can see, hyperlinks cause some weirdness in the context of tables. I might try to adjust it later.
Can I be honest for a moment? I've had in the back of my head to pass the torch of leadership to somebody more active in this little sub-community of ours for a while. Though, I'm not really sure what that would entail. I do not have the access to add/remove users to this gamepage, and the official site has been dead (or otherwise inaccessible) for... I dunno. Probably a matter of years, now?

How about Garage himself?
I'd be fine with that, and Garage has already PMed me his willingness to assist in what degree he can. Of which I am grateful! However, nether of us know what this could entail. So, let me compartmentalize what things that I have done in recent memory that can only be done by somebody listed as "developer" on this gamepage.
Adding or altering information into the ID-listing in the tech thread.
Adding or altering the official listing of finished content on the appropriate page.
This is a two-parter. One is the actual uploading and updating of the OCCD, itself. The other is altering this blog, so that it reflects the contents of the file.
The matters that rely on mostly text could, feasibly, be done with locker-files, maybe? Might need a few more thought-cycles about how that might work, exactly. I have no idea about the upkeep of the OCCD, and am open to ideas concerning that.

author=Marrendrmn has no "include" feature for postings or pages, has it? Like someone writes a pages that takes an text or HTML fragment from a locker or even off-site and seamlessly integrates it into their post?

As far as I can see you can do stuff like this with images from someone's locker, not with text-files.
So if you were to delegate for example the maintenance of the ID-list to me, you would have to replace the ID-table with a link to a locker file containing the list itself.
Similar for the OCCD: I could probably maintain a HTML-file similar to the table that lists all the content-packs and gives a teaser image for each of them in my locker and you could link that in the OCC blog. But there's be at least a few issues with that:
- That table wouldn't show directly in the blog, it would only be linked to by the blog.
- The OCCD itself is way to huge for my locker. And external file storage has a tendency to disappear over time.
What could be done with OCCD - and/or "finished content" for that matter - is to turn those into "media submissions" or "additional downloads" ... but that wouldn't help all that much, would it?
For one, letting me submit files that contain other peoples content would be
And furthermore someone would than have to approve those submissions anyway.
