There is now a website you can use to share your custom content with other users! But you're still welcome to use this page to share and discuss content.

Below is a list of finished custom (user-made) content. To add these characters, in most cases you can extract the downloaded file to the game's main directory and you're set. Depending on how the author has organized them, it may be necessary to move files to the appropriate directories. (Custom content has not been tested by me)
Note: After new content has been added, old saves won't be compatible.

If you have posted custom content in this thread, I will (eventually) add your link to the list above, along with a small screenshot if you have included one. Be sure to test your content in-game before posting.

Helpful things:

--> Medium build girl, the .psd that was used to create the built-in characters, is available with layer names in English.

--> Not feeling artistic? You can use any of these images for making custom characters.

--> Notepad++ with syntax highlighting for Heartache 101 can be a big help with story creation.

--> If you are writing story content that includes the appearance of existing characters (built-in or custom), the following list may be of reference:
ID 0 = The Player
ID 1 = Nakajima Miki
ID 2 = Ikeda Keika
ID 3 = Onishi Tsubasa
ID 4 = Kaneshiro Shihoko
ID 5 = Kaneshiro Riho
ID 6 = Sato Akari
ID 7 = Hiraoka Hinami
ID 8 = (Secret character)
ID 9 = Watanabe Junko

ID 40 = Konohana Midori
ID 41 = Natsume Rika
ID 42 = Vacant
ID 43 = Vacant
ID 44 = Hasegawa Kanon
ID 45 = Vacant
...

(Note: You don't need to care about this list if your story events will not include existing characters, as ID numbers for characters in separate files don't have to be unique)

--> Finally, I've listed the game cheats here. You can use these during story events to test your content:
SHIFT + F5 -- Adds 10 to Looks
SHIFT + F6 -- Adds 10 to Athletics
SHIFT + F7 -- Adds 10 to Personality
SHIFT + F8 -- Adds 10 to Mind
SHIFT + F9 -- Adds 10 to Soul
ALT + F5 -- Adds 1000 to yen

Hmmm... How about "Of all the girls in my class to set your sight on..." Do you think that fits Keika better?
Sure, that's fine.

One question I do have is if there is any way to give Aoi a name and Tachie without having her show up on the list of girls met. I wouldn't want anyone to think that she's a dateable character.

You can hide her tachie in someone else's profile. for example, in junko's profile have OTHER1 = Aoi.png or something like that. The for the story file, when it is Aoi turn to speak, you would write ID = Aoi, instead of a number. Her text will show in black though.

@flowerthief
liking the site, I'm trying to upload 21 as we speak.
*edit*
I've not been able to upload 21's files. I've tried renaming the zip files to no luck and I'm under the 10mb limit. I have notice that the filepath says that 21's file are located in C:/fakepath/21_files.zip, which is a non existent file path. Not sure if that's relevant or not.

I'd say the "non-existent path" part is relevant! There doesn't seem to be a way to manually input the file's path (which is probably a good thing anyway), and I can't see a reason why it wouldn't pick up a directory structure exactly how it shows on one's computer. Unless it can't read spaces, or has some other internal character limit? If it's relevant, I uploaded both of Masako's files from my "C:\Downloads" directory.
Hmmm... How many "main storyline" stories would you guys suggest giving a custom character. Since you have all done this before. :)
@dude
Where are you seeing this non-existent path? In the browse for a file dialog box? That is odd. I wonder if an anti-virus program could be doing that? When the upload fails does it say "Unknown upload error" or something else?

@Nekochi
There's no right or wrong answer but I would recommend not getting too ambitious your first time. Also, if you set the affection build type to "hyper" the character won't appear as frequently so you don't need as many stories for her.
the error I receive is as follows:
File Upload
(21\'s files.zip)
That is not a valid file type (application/octet-stream) or file size too big!

Allowed file types: application/zip
Max. file size: 10 MB

I've changed the file name a few times to no luck. I use avast antivirus. Another thing, the capcha check should be done before the upload begins. I started an upload and had it fail at the end because I forgot the capcha QQ.

@nekochi
if it helps at all, I had 10 stories planned for 21. However, I like branching stories so they ended up bigger. It helps if you plan a fixed number to reach though. A story map helps too.
I'm still confused about the non-existent path. Where are you seeing that?
After a failed upload try checking the error console and tell me if it shows anything. In Firefox it's at Tools -> Web Developer -> Error Console.

@Nekochi: Masako, which was the first attempt at custom content has 21 STORY sequences, though she had 20 for a while. Uchioniko currently has 57 total (Shoko has 20, Mayu has 15, Izumi has 22), but that's not a final number as I'm still working on Ruri.

Frankly, I think the number of STORY sequences depends on what one wants to do with a character. Being ambitious, like requiring that a character "leaves the game" before such code was properly implemented (Masako reference), is not necessarily a bad thing!

@dude797: I doubt the file's name is literally "21\'s files.zip", as that's an illegal file name for windows. From what it looks like from just the error message, the system is looking for something akin to "C:\wherever\21\'s files.zip" and not finding the "21" sub-directory in the "wherever" directory.

Uchioniko updated!

What's changed:
Ruri has been fully implemented, and mostly tested. I don't think I made as many developer comments in Ruri as the others, but there's still some interesting ideas with Ruri's actual code.

What still needs to be done:
Unless there's still bugs hanging around somewhere, either in Ruri, or anyone else, or if there's an update that causes me to re-think my strategy on Uchioniko, this collection is the completeness!

*much_rejoicing.wav*

Where to get it:
1) The original post where it was presented to the public.
2) Direct download, so to speak, from my locker

In other news: While I could upload Uchioniko into the other custom content page, I think I want to have some kind of feedback on Uchioniko as a whole. Of course, if there's an issue with a specific character, I'd like to know of that too!

*Edit: @flowerthief: You know you must use this as the "screenshot" for Uchioniko when you decided to put it up on top of this page!
I'll dl the complete pack asap. I've been waiting for you to finish it and play it the way its was meant to be played.
I think I should do Aya's story first, I think her story has the most depth... so It has much more work...

EDIT: can I post Aya's Bio up here and some info about her, or will i do that on the site??

I don't see a problem putting in a short biography for a character using the "notes" section on the other site, if that's what you want to do with that field. For this place, I figure one can post whatever one thinks is pertinent for the character. Or package of characters, in cases like Uchioniko.

*Edit: I am assuming the character is ready to be uploaded (and thus is ready to be downloaded), aren't I?
She's not finished yet, but I'm going to start working on her story 'cause I've already got her profile made.
For some reason, whenever I try to start the game up an error message appeared, this has happened before with Sarah's profile, but when I deleted sarah's profile the game worked just fine... but I don't want to have to delete Aya's profile...
What error message is it? It could be a conflict of ID number, incomplete data or the way the file is named.
@Marrend
I've gone ahead and put it at the top of the page so you can hopefully start receiving feedback right away. (I used your most recent post as the "referring post" so that no one gets the idea that it isn't complete)

I see you managed to get it beneath the 10MB file size limit for uploading to the website. I would have been willing to make an exception for you but it's all good.
When you do upload it, it's possible that you may run into the upload timeout limitation set by my host. It might be cutting it close; we'll see. One way or another we'll get it on the site.

@dude797
So are we giving up on the upload problem? Shall I go ahead and upload 21 Ways for you?

@Animetor
Don't delete the profile. Tell us what the error message says.

@flowerthief: I see! That post could be used as an "original referral post", as that was the first time it was posted as a completed object! Anyway, I'm surprised Uchioniko's under 10 MB, considering the tachie and the music. I'll still hold out on the initial posting to the other page for a bit, though. Heaven forbid that there's a bug, or something annoyingly small that I overlooked (Spelling errors have been known to pass me by.), that I can fix.

@Animetor: I'm hoping when you said that you deleted Sarah's profile, you meant that you temporarily moved it into a different directory? Anyway, post that error message! I'm sure somebody will be able to decipher it!
@flowerthief
sorry been busy and haven't had the time to look at it again. Don't upload it just yet, I want to see if we can pinpoint the problem, in case someone else runs into it later.

*edit*
here is a screenshot of where I see fake path. I tried marrend's idea and tried to upload from my desktop, but still error. Could it be a chrome thing? I might try using firefox see if it solves my problem.

That's so weird! Why does it pick up the directory like that? Not sure what's going on, but Firefox should work (As that's what I'm using.).
