There is now a website you can use to share your custom content with other users! But you're still welcome to use this page to share and discuss content.

Below is a list of finished custom (user-made) content. To add these characters, in most cases you can extract the downloaded file to the game's main directory and you're set. Depending on how the author has organized them, it may be necessary to move files to the appropriate directories. (Custom content has not been tested by me)
Note: After new content has been added, old saves won't be compatible.

If you have posted custom content in this thread, I will (eventually) add your link to the list above, along with a small screenshot if you have included one. Be sure to test your content in-game before posting.

Helpful things:

--> Medium build girl, the .psd that was used to create the built-in characters, is available with layer names in English.

--> Not feeling artistic? You can use any of these images for making custom characters.

--> Notepad++ with syntax highlighting for Heartache 101 can be a big help with story creation.

--> If you are writing story content that includes the appearance of existing characters (built-in or custom), the following list may be of reference:
ID 0 = The Player
ID 1 = Nakajima Miki
ID 2 = Ikeda Keika

^Nice :) I haven't gotten around to playing the complete version of Uchioniko yet so when you finish Junko I'll playtest them together.
Oh, and by Hanami you probably meant Hinami?
Whoops. I guess I got confused on her name. Probably because Hanami is a more common name than Hinami. Better go fix that.

Edit:
The Mayu and Junko event is done.

@Neckochi: Mayu is supposed to practice the art of Kendo. However, I avoided mention of any specific martial art to show that she's so athletic, she could be practicing anything. Perhaps even multiple things! A scene with Mayu, Junko, and Terada-sensei might be cool.

*Edit: That's pretty humorous, though there's no indication why Mayu wouldn't necessarily act like that.
You probably don't know this yet, Nekochi, but the Uchioniko collection is based off of a failed/abandoned game idea. One of the early game events involved Ruri and Mayu became friends right off the bat, and joining athletic clubs. Mayu (the "power" character), got into Kendo, whereas Ruri (the "speed" character), got on the track team. Granted, Mayu doesn't think much of Ruri to begin with, but she never responds negatively to Ruri's joining of the track team.
Well, so much for that exact event then. Well, I probably won't include that in the first release of Junko anyway. I was thinking that any events dealing with custom characters would be put into a separate file that could be downloaded on it's own, so as not to render all of the events unusable if someone hadn't downloaded the other custom content. It's funny that Ruri was on the track team because I was reading over her events and seeing how fast she was and I was thinking that perhaps I could write an event for Junko trying to get her to join the track team, but I thought it over and there are various reasons that might not work too well.
Junko has trying to distance herself from others. It will all become clear once you play through her story.

In any case... I think I'll just finish up Junko's ending and then add one more event that I was contemplating but forgot about, in which she explains why she wears a longer skirt than most of her classmates. (Other than my being a girl and thinking those skirts look utterly slutty and impractical as so much as sitting down without your legs pressed together would result in a panty shot.)

Anyway, I wanted to make my ending similar to the default ending, but instead of getting a phone call, the PC gets a visitor. To do that, I'd need to know the name of the music that is played at the ending and the two locations that appear. If someone knew what those were called, it would really help me out. :)

Going off from sheer memory, I'm mostly sure the city-scape that shows isn't a PLACE, though it might be "Town" for all I know. The room where the PC gets the call might be "Bedroom". I highly suggest testing the various PLACE values in Story Test. As for the music that plays, my memory is quite foggy. I think "Built-in/Sad.mp3" might be close to whatever that actually plays, but maybe not.
The two location names are "Downtown" and "Studio Room".
The music is in the half of the soundtrack that isn't accessible to users. If you really want it in the scene you'd have to add another copy. (redundant, I know) Link is here.
Ugh... I'm having problems with this ending. The right Tachie won't load for Aoi... >>;;

Okay... I have no idea what the problem could be. Unless I need to start a totally new file since these were added after I started the game. *sighs and goes to try that*

If you added a tachie to a profile while in the midst of playtesting the character who's profile was changed, the loaded game's data might not be able to "see" the new development. You may have to re-start your playtest from scratch. Before doing that, try out the sequence where the tachie shows up in Story Test mode to see if the graphic is working the way it should.
I've gotten multiple endings, but I still don't seem to have story test mode... Another mystery...
Yay! I got everything working for Junko's ending! There is one more story I want to write and then I need to do a quick check for typos, but then I should be able to post the finished product. It hasn't been tested 100%, but it's at least 80% tested for the events involving Junko and Aoi. :)

It's all done! Presenting! Junko (and her adorable little sister Aoi. :)

I don't have Winzip, so I made an .rar rather than .zip. I hope that's okay. Someone else is free to convert it into a .zip if they want. :)
Nice :) I like the clothing edits you did.
Btw, before you can upload it to the soon-to-be-publicized official website, you'll need to change the directory structure. Instead of the directories for Story, Tachie, etc each being inside the Junko directory, it will need to be a Junko directory inside each of the directories for Story, Tachie, etc. That way a user can extract directly to the game's main directory.

About Story Test, it gets unlocked when you complete the game with any ending. But if you've had to upgrade to a newer version, or deleted your records file for any reason then it got erased. In that case you can get it back by....
Open your records in notepad and change the first digit from a '0' to a '3'.

*has WinRAR and is downloading*

This is the stand-alone, right? Guess I'll be finding out in about 2 minutes.
Yes, it is stand alone. Please tell me what you think. :)

Edit: Finally uploaded everyone else's custom content into my game. I'm incredibly amused that Junko and Ruri are the only girls who I've more or less (more in Ruri's case and less in Junko's) at the end of the first day. XD

Junko's story was pretty heartwarming, though I was expecting something different for Aoi. The technique that was used is perfectly acceptable, and working it any other way (considering how oft Aoi appears) could be maddening at best. The only qualm I have is that Junko's theme is the same song that plays during the janitor mini-game. It just doesn't fit what Junko's personality came off to me as. I don't have a better suggestion at the moment, but it might be something to consider.

Side note: With all the currently available content, one can meet Miki (assuming one is not playing in Clean Mode), Ruri (sorta), and/or Junko on Day 1. The first Masako event occurs on Day 3 at the earliest, and 21's first event occurs on Day 8 at the earliest.

*Edit: How's Uchioniko working out for everyone? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
So far I haven't really found any errors with quad tech. Although it's kinda hard to believe these four girls would ever be friends, the story mesh well when you take in the full concept. I do like that every girl has a quirk, my only suggestion would be to add more of that "candy sense". That was hilarious.

Hilarious as the "candy sense" sequence might be, that isn't even supposed to be part of her character. Now, if I could figure out a proper way of giving her the "set of sweet teeth" that she's supposed to have, I might be in business. Maybe an event at the convenience store...

I'm glad you liked it. Just out of curiosity, what were you expecting for Aoi?

Is it the same theme that plays during the janitor mini-game? I hadn't noticed. (Probably because I'm never able to last very long in that game. My Pac Man skills are terrible.) I considered some other songs, but I don't listen to a lot of conventional music (I had plenty of jazz and stuff with the koto and biwa in it, but I didn't quite think this fit Junko) and everything I considered had too many vocals or wasn't of the right quality (aka, they were midis, I considered the Sailor Starlight's theme from Sailor Moon because, really, how cool would that be?), so I eventually went to look at stuff by the same composer used in the original game. Granted, I picked the music before I wrote much of the story and my concept of Junko changed some as I wrote it, but one of the concepts behind Junko is that she's very active and she's always busy. Busy with track, busy with school, busy with her sister... She's always on the run and I kind of wanted something that would reflect that. I eventually settled on the song called "old Gold". I also considered "Inorganic Substance", "Starry Eyed", and "Sonorously Box", but I felt "old Gold" fit her best. If you have any other suggestions of songs you think fit her better though, I'd be happy to take a look at them.

In any case... I at least feel the song I picked for Aoi is pretty much perfect. :)
Ah yes, I just remembered something... Marrend? Whats 'FOCUS', because the player dosen't recognise 'FOCUS' so I had to delete all the focuses off you Uchioniko profiles, what do the 'FOCUS'es do?

That's something new that was added to v0.74 that allows a hint-giving NPC to give a hint about the character. Versions prior to v0.74 won't recognize it.

At least people will get to hear the whole song for a change :) I'm always thinking to myself, "Damn, nobody is going to last long enough to hear how groovy this song gets because I (deliberately) made this mini-game so hard."

Enjoying Uchioniko & Junko so far. Here's a few small corrections:

Story 5
True. And we have also spent enough time for the moment.

Story 8
MUSIC FREEZE

Story 8
In any event, we were hoping to find someone who could use this ticket.

ruri_story.txt
Story 7 is a school story but it jumps to one of three city stories. Was this intended?

I can't help noticing that both of you end sentences in parenthesis with a period, unlike me. Have I been doing it wrong all this time? :(

About the Uchioniko corrections:

Ruri:
Not exactly intentional. Interestingly enough, I barely caught a glimpse of the front of the school before I jumped to wherever. Outside of that brief oddity, if you look at Ruri's code, that's exactly how it should work, given what I know of the system.

Mayu:
Missed that minor detail. Thanks!

Shoko:
Missed that minor detail too. Thanks!

Izumi:
I was so amazingly close to the corrections you had for STORY 5, that I originally thought they were already in. Good eye! STORY 8's corrections were also helpful, though there was a "FREEZE MUSIC" in a sequence that I thought I corrected five times in a row, but playtesting proved otherwise. It may have been STORY 3's sequence, which does have "MUSIC FREEZE" rather than "FREEZE MUSIC"!

About the use of punctuation in parenthetical sentences: In games, sentences in parenthesis are generally considered "thinking" lines. The character is not speaking, but a complete thought is ended by some manner of punctuation. Didn't your English teacher tell you this!? Even if it's a thought that trails off, there should be an ellipsis ("...") to indicate the action of trailing off in thought.

@Ichimaru_Gin: As flowerthief said, FOCUS is a stat that was included with version 0.74. If you were getting an error message about that, then all you needed to do was upgrade. Saying that, Uchioniko should still, theoretically speaking, be playable. Assuming all you removed was the FOCUS stat from each of the characters in the profile, anyway!

@Nekochi:
What I was expecting for Aoi was a mess of OTHER slots that were set aside for her in Junko's profile. However, considering how often she shows up, and the one scene where Miki shows up, it would be difficult to keep track of what OTHER slot to use.

*Edit: As a total side-note and wanting to squeeze as much information into this post as inhumanly possible, I've yet to meet this NPC informant. I'm guessing I haven't played enough of the game, or the locations where he/she shows up is not where I normally frequent (stat-buff locations and the Internet Cafe).
@ Marrend
All of Aoi's OTHER slots were used, the surprised one was used the most, but the other ones were only used in one story each. The last four could obviously only be used in the ending, as it involved Aoi all grown up and in a high school uniform. It's supposed to be the same high school uniform that Junko wore, in fact.

Made a few new Tachie and I'm contemplating some new characters, who will be from another school, making them more or less "secret" characters. They'll probably be awhile in the making though. Making custom content is just so addictive! >>;;
