An apology and some other stuff.

Right, so I couldn't finish the whole story in time for the event. So the download available, as you'll see is Novella: Part One. I had to cut it off where I could. I'm sorry about that guys.

Second of all, if you don't get stuck the game is very short. I'm sorry about that too, it seems I spent too long on things that don't add gameplay time. That said it's more of an arty thing to be thought about and interpreted/deciphered than a game anyway. Hope you don't mind.

So, If you play this I'd LOVE to hear your interpretations of what things mean, how obvious or cryptic you find the symbolism and your general reactions. I really took this theme to heart and went with something "experimental".

Fingers-crossed that everything works properly!

I'm mainly bothered that I didn't finish the whole game as I have it planned out so the story is sorta incomplete. Like giving people half of a jigsaw. :<

I don't know or understand what this game is about, but it's a nice game! It's pretty, has lovely music and sound effects, and an interesting take on gameplay. And the length makes it a brief and crisp experience... like a refreshing glass of lemonade or something. Only except of tasting good, it tastes creepy/ominous. Reminds me of a bite-sized and compressed version of Myst or Riven or something.

In any case, I like this project. Whether or not you finish it is up to you, but I would definitely like to see more stuff like this from you... you know, the mysterious adventure-genre kind of game. I'd like to see one in a full-length type of scale, but that's just me. Nice work!

Focus on the word the train conductor emphasises on. Using 'Ocean' to decipher. If you still can't get it, read on.

I was stuck a bit on this at first. Go back to the institute and make sure you have the proper sharp markings for all the notes. I believe there are 2.

I'm happy to see people playing this and finding it a little challenging :D haha.

I did try to make the game, above all, a an aesthetically pleasing experience so hopefully I've achieved at least that.

I'd love to hear more interpretations, people have come close but nobody's fully got it yet it seems.

(Also probably partially my fault due to the game not being finished!)
