Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

Consider breaking this into tabs so there isn't a huge information dump on the front page...
Thank you for the advice psy_wombats. I just couldn't figure out how to do it while the project was pending, but now I can!
I must say, it looks brilliant, subscribing!
Not bad, some of the screenshots look beautiful in my opinion and the others are still pretty good.
Subscribed.
(Also, you may wanna remove the in the Title, as everyone will already know its made with RPG Maker VX seen as it says so to the right of the title on the Games Page)

1.What's with me seeing you right after I watch bleach?
1a. now thinking about creating an account named Ichigo just to mess with ya :3

2.why do people favor megaupload so much?

3.the download is not available

4.looking out for this game
If it says temporarily unavailable, it should work later. I don't know why it does that. I think it's to do with Megaupload's server.
I use megaupload because it lets me upload over 200mb and it's easier to navigate through. I would personally have used mediafire, but my demo is unfortunately bigger than that.

@Phatkookiez
Is my demo too good, that your internet cannot handle it? :)
Depending on many variables such as 'quality'. It will quickly determine the difference in WHY my demo is 250MB and the other one is less. I did try my best to get rid of MBs, I'm not the type of person to just throw random huge mp3 files in.

@Dezz123
Okay, I shall remove that thing, it's just I posted this on 4 other forum things and I just got used to putting that there

Um
Thanks for the feedback, tell me what you think of it later

Phatkookiez could have been referring to how long it took to complete said 100MB game, rather than download time. Just saying.

Anyway, if this is not laden with MP3 files, I wonder what takes up all the space?
Yea i don't mind the size of the game. And i have to admit. I love how the game looks. The way the maps were put together is, i won't say incredible but it was pretty good. I'm kinda stuck and i don't get Mt. Lemele at all.... 2 rocks, a whole buncha magic barriers.... T.T But this is a pretty huge demo O.o The difficulty scale is kinda high too dun u think.... I mean... when i got to chapter 3, monkeys kill me in 3 hits with rock. That's the warrior too!!! Imagine how fast it takes for cindy to die... Though it's not impossible, because you can stay near the town and rest whenever needed and just train a couple levels before continuing. But the challenge isn't bad because it makes people work harder, and the game longer. Also my internet is fine. It didn't take too long to download the demo. 5-10 mins or so.

Nvm i got what to do at Mt. Lemele

I admit it.. the boss at the end of Mt. Lemele is friggen ahrd as sh... wut now? Srsly. Too many mobs... I barely got past it though...
Note: Then i found out if i leveled once more i would have gotten light beam....
the demo doesn't work for me.it.the game file doesn't open.is it the same with everyone or it is just me?

A bit of advice; you might want to change the title. If only so that people don't think this is related to the 'Lunar' series of RPG games.

hmmmm,i agree with u.I thought that it was a lunar series game the first time i saw it.
I'm playing your game right now. So far so good. The start is a bit rather too calm for my taste though and all the quests so far are story driven. It's like there's no side quests. Anyways when I've completed it. I'll give it a review. There are a few mistakes in this game that need sorting out though. Some of them I'll spot out in the review.

There are a few mistakes, as it is beta, and even the text has grammar, repetitive word issues, etc. But it's not really a bad thing that there aren't side quests. Of course side quests in the future will probably be needed, as a linear storyline is hardly fun, but i find that working on the storyline at once without the distraction of side quests doesn't make the author of the story stray completely off their original intentions. Now this isn't always a bad thing if it's a minor stray, but i would not like to see their original quest to become a "pwnzorz mage that can defeat all evil" instead of just obtaining star ranks. Of course you could merge those two goals into one story if you integrate one into the other, but i would not like to see the author lose their original intention. What I'm getting to is that even though there is a lack of side quests at this moment, it is not necessarily a bad thing. Luster can always just go back into his project and add side quests once he's done with his story.
I'm not criticizer your game for not having side quests. The way I see it is that I think it's pointless to have a quest book if you are only focusing the game on the story which isn't quest relative. It's just carrying on the story not carrying on random quests given in different areas of the game. That's the point I'm trying to make. However having a quest book means you always know what you have to do which is also a benefit too.
I've posted a review for your game. The game was enjoyable and I gave it a review score of 3.5 out of 5.

You basically answered your own question/critique :) Personally I like having quest books (especially if they contain previous quests/steps too)
