Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

Nice Mafia laugh there Kaze!
And thank you so much for nominating. Makes me happy to know my game could be worthy of being RMN's next top model GOTY.
Hmm.. talking bout mafia, I was always curious about her pet word "piti" what does it mean exactly?

It is a great game afterall, so of course I'd nominate it XD
Well, I'm not actually really one to explain the meaning too well, but my understanding of it is to mean a child or kid but can be used as an insult instead to mean brat/annoying.
In French, you get the word 'petit' which literally means small so it's derived from that.
(The reason that I'm not really the one to explain it too well is because it's a made up word that someone I know uses a lot - so I didn't make it up. I thought it would be nice to clip this word onto Mafia to use as her catchphrase instead of something generic.)
You may also notice that all of Mafia's family is named after something ridiculous XD!
HI, game was really fun till the moment it stuck in the town where Tash was born in the quest of the fat litle girl that Fate kill her dog.on the 3rd quest that she ask a new dog a green 1 I fund 1 with the bunnygirl when Tash kill her with a slow arow Fate take the dog but after a few steps in the cutscene the 3 actors +the dog dont move I cant do anything, they dont move and the cutscene wont end ether no mater how long i w8, can you check it out plz.So far it been a really fun game.
Yeah, I checked it out and it turns out that it randomly happens. If you keep trying it should eventually work... Sorry, I have no idea why it happens, but it will work after about 3 tries!
@tani

I think that glitch occurs randomly, try saving the game before talking to the bunnygirl with the green dog, and when the screen freezes again- just continue your saved file. Also, are you playing on window mode or full screen mode? if window mode try playing in full screen and talk with the bunny girl

Well I did have my thoughts that it was somehow an insult but I didnt know what it exactly meant, wahaha.

Talk about the uber-weak inn keeper that was knocked out by a fuzzy mob hahaha completely opposite with imba crazed gummi XD.
well I downloaded the new v1.o2 end the cutscene played just fine so problem solve with the update I hope nothing new pop up cuz its really cool so far the game I mean, thanks all for your quick posts goin to continue now.
A little help please!

I'm at the part in Mt. Gelado where using the go-go goggles makes those shadow monsters appear. (Which is really really scary to be honest. I nearly jumped off my seat when I first saw them!! >__<)

I'm doing pretty well, but then i reached this part with a level that won't budge cuz it's "lacking power" and that I need to find a way to get it to work somehow. It's not one of those missing lever things, it just says that I need to find a way to make it work.

Much appreciated! I'm working my way up to that Hall of Fame! ;)
Them monsters being scary was what I was aiming for :P (and sorry about that...)
The solution is here:
Use the Zippo and then ram into the lever to power it up! Hope that helps!

Good luck and I shall await for your final score stats excitedly! :D
Ne, Sir Luster, I'm just gonna ask about the part where Fate's party meet and save Kestrel. Wasn't the part after that area where you save Kestrel, the area where you collect all the kobold gears with a bunch of boulders which follows you around? Then after that it's the beach area right? So I was playing in ver 1.02 and that area with the gear collection isn't there anymore - instead, after the area with Kestrel, it's immediately the open field area with no monsters and with a save spot, then the beach with the bunny and children. So I guess you removed the gear collecting area in Ver 1.02? Thanks a bunch
Yeah, I removed it because some people really didn't like it. I, too got frustrated at it at times so I thought it'd be best to remove it. I'm going to put something similar in the second part though.
