Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

@Superes
The fight is balanced in the latest version of the game... I presume you have an early version like 1.00 or 1.01. I'm really sorry about that... (Although, Kaze somehow managed to defeat her in 1.00 XD)
Ehm, no, I have downloaded the 1.4 this morning just before the fight XD
@Superes
Then it's defo balanced! I admit, she is hard, but it's still very possible. Don't forget, there are a lot of supplies available in SnowDown Town - They'll be very useful to you.
Also, this is one of the final battles in the game, hence her difficulty.
I have plenty of supplies but still I can't really do much. Obviously I'll try again and again but I don't know how to scrap them Tash does 0 damage most of the time and Falk is completely useless if his power up 3 does so little damage on a 5 vs 4 fight. They are too fast!!!!
@Superes
You sure you have 1.04?
If you'd like, you can send me your save file and I'll beat the boss for you using it and record a video.
A good technique is to use Earth Strike if you have it as at level 4, it can strike twice and deal heavy damage. Don't forget, Fate has the ability to double the effects of healing items.
Well, Actually in 5 fights I had no chance to use Earth Strike!! That's the last fight first turn. Falk Mana Drained, stunned and attack down. Tash Frozen. Cindy Burned and Fate at half life. LoL They always hit 4 in a row before my action and they usually kill at least one of my character per turn. I mean, If I breeze the game at level 33 the boss has to be beatable. This is unbeatable with my party, no more, no less... can't last 5 rounds. I won't allow you to beat it. Some other Try and I'll quit the game... that's me, I'm a little upset now! ;)

EDIT: Figured Out something but still it's pretty useless. Killed a Dummy to see it can not die, so in the next fight I erased one erasing Loki but every character is completely useless except of Fals. Fate is always mana drained... Tash does 0 damage even with fairy circle and mind strike (!!!!!) so, I just guard with three and attack with Falk. Boring.
Never mind... Figured it out finally. Thank you...

@rexThe latest version includes RTP.

@Pheadona

1) Get bomb to A
2) Bomb to B
3) Bomb to A
4) Bomb to C
5) Bomb to grey switch
6) Make it explode
Hope that helps

@longshot
You need to destroy the little boy's haystack, but this time you need a certain item in order to do so. (The Zippo) If you don't have it yet, you can come back to it later.
@Superes
Do you have falk's team cannon skill? also, do you still have falk's ice attribute sword? try using it to disable one dummy in every turn, also, gear your characters with thunder/water/ice resistant/absorbing gears. what level do you have kestrel on? her fire skill tree will be very helpful in this boss fight. Almost forgot - do you have falk's arcane strike?(the one you can buy at blue orb academy)

@Sir Luster

Congratulations on passing 1000 downloads! XD
Thank you very much Kaze! XD
just MAYBE the game could get featured one day :P
Also, you give really good advice!

I have fairy circle, not cannon because I didn't got it was an all party skill :D
Anyway I'll try a new tactic.. a power up 3 falk kills Loki in 1,5 turn with Earth Strike so I'll just try keeping everyone else alive until I only have loki to fight!
Please please please for the love of God make it possible to kill the kobolds in the Kobold Fortress area. They move too fast to really hit with the throwing star or run away from, and when you beat them you have about half a second to move before they recover and attack again. I am completely stuck.

Other than that, great game so far!
Ok, turns out I was being stupid and was finally able to make it through with a little timing and luck. I still think there should be a way to actually kill them though.
Got rid of the fight... with the tactic found out it took just 7 rounds and even if a little boring it's been easy.
Going straight forward to the last part of the game. Hope I can come back to get (and complete) all missions. Only 9 on my journal, so I have to search for them again.

Going back to Dia. 20 hours so far.
Where do I find the wife for the side quest "True love story."? And where is the key to the girl's house for the "Let's rob her." side quest?

Searched everything in Arrowseye... are they only available later or are they somewhere else to find? (But I think it was mentioned they both should be in Arrowseye).

@Wsergio
Those four green switches are directional switches that control the bomb to the right side. Get the bomb to the Grey Switch; once it's on the grey switch activate it by pressing the lever at the end with the Throwing Star.

in front of switch, there is railings i can't go to these directional switches !!
Pretty boring doing that with all the random encounters... cause you need to walk around check where the bomb is. I need a break again. Continuing in a few days... maybe...
Sorry about that... But at least the encounter rate is high! (I actually noticed that and removed the encounters in that map in the latest version).
The wife is the same woman as the one who gives you the 'Chicken Killer' Quest and you need a particular item to retrieve the key to the Little Girl's house which you can get later on.

But Y'KNOW, the way you put it saying that 'you need a break' makes the game sound like a chore to you. You don't need to play it at all if it puts that much stress or whatnot...
Ok, I managed to pick up Banana, Apple, Grape, Cherry, Blueberry and Original coke, but I am still missing one...
Where is the last one?
Also, is there any place to buy tablets besides Tag's Fort?
Thanks!
@Xyotaka
The last coke flavour is obtained from the monster at the top of Mt Gelado. Also, Tag's Fort is the only place where you can get tablets before it is blown up. There previously was another stall in Avale Town in which you can buy tablets, but that has since been removed because it's very easy to get money late game.

Also a MASSIVE thanks to everyone! It's been exactly a month since the release of Lunar Wish and it has racketed a whooping 1000 downloads!

Grats.
I'm almost done playing the game, and I would be pretty happy to see it featured.
