Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

Man Luster, this game really needs to be featured. After all the hard work you've done you deserve it 100%
This is a gem of a game and I registered on this site just to say that. The characters are indeed hilarious. By that, I meant the girls are violent and scary such that I wouldn't want to meet them in a dark alley. Actually, maybe the vampire but that might be because I'm into that sort of kinky. At least the guys are nice.

Well, okay I'm also stuck on the hidden side quest but take what you can get right?

Anyway, I'm one spirit away from 100% and I can't even account for two of the soulstones I found. I know of at least seven dungeons which allow the associated gadget. Balvarin Path (the first dungeon), Caves south of Arroweye, Caves to Tag's Fort, Tag's Lab, Caves to Snowdown town, Snowdown Temple, and Mt. Gelado are the ones I remember.

Keep it up.

gee, can you believe it ????? I'm stuck again :)

In the slippery floor with 2 blue keys area. Double doors to boss area.
Fighting four seahorses ?? at the same time who use magic and physical reflect.
I purchased the item to stop physical reflect, need one for each of the four bosses.

Problem: I'm pretty sure there is an item you purchase to also stop magical reflect.....but I can't remember where to get it :( HELP!!!! please and thank you :)
The only reason I haven't reviewed your game is because I am waiting till you make sure you have fixed all the bugs, errors and mistakes. That way this time when I actually review it you can't criticize the review for reviewing what was actually played. Your recent bashing of the review states all those problems were revised for the full release however how many bugs have you had to fix since that time and updates have you made?

I'm guessing had I reviewed it the full release it would have received a harsher score. I am far more critical at rating full games because they are actually complete as a comparison to demo's and early development releases. Also when there's clearly a lack of testing and alpha especially makes me disappointed. It shows a lack of professionalism. When you've finished updating the game that is pretty much as perfect as it gets then let me know and I'll review that one.

Are found or can be dropped by monsters Novus in the swamp between Tryrone City and Snowdown.

@ shun...

Are you falling down on the job ??

I can't believe you don't know where the item is to cancel out the magic reflector :(
How do I beat the puzzle where I have to push the pillar on top of the green switch, also moving rocks in the way. Step by step please lol.
I can not believe you do not know where the item is to cancel out the magic reflector. Buy reflect smasher in item Shooper in Snowdown. Elegant Charm is found in Mt Gelado and sidequest in Arrowseye Village.

The rocks have to be all at the bottom to be able to move properly pillar. It is this simple puzzle.

ya know ??? if you just produced a list of where to find everything, you might be able to get some rest :)

I have the physical reflect smasher, Mr. Gelado ??? hm, now I have find Mr. Gelado again :). But then, that is the part I like to do on my own if I can, if not, you will be hearing from me again :) thank you for the info.

@ bigtime: you ain't cooler then me :) "step by step" ?? gees, even I got that one :)haha
@Linkis
Reflect smashers break both Physical Reflect and Magical Reflect.

@Obsorber
The game is currently stable. There are known mapping glitches where you can walk through stuff you shouldn't be able to, but those occur rarely and I believe they do not detract from the overall gameplay experience. There's never been a game breaking bug in the final version from what I can remember. The game has been perfectly playable on all versions since I fully released it, but as soon as there was a small bug, I couldn't help but upload a new version just to make the experience better. Also, bear in mind I had to get this out for the RSW.

@Bigtime
I'd watch one of the videos in the media section. I think Clareain can show you how to solve it :)
Thanks everyone. Linkis I shall try ta be the coolest! :)
Nothing new to report yet since the bugs on the last page since I'm still busy sorting stuff out around the house, but I do have a comment about the passability errors. I don't know if you intend to fix them (I'll start ignoring them unless you say otherwise) but I noticed that some of them aren't initially there. Let's use that table on the second floor of the university in the first town as an example. When you first go up to that floor you cannot walk on that table, but after he goes to sleep and a scene takes place, that table forever becomes a walkable tile. It's not a huge thing anyways, but I figured I'd let you know what I've found out thus far.

Well anyways, in a couple more days I should have more time and I'll be throwing bugs at ya left and right. In the brief time I've played so far it's been fun.

Bug, Bug, did I find a bug ??? :)

Hi, not sure if this is considered a bug or not and don't know if it even matters :)

I've been looking for some Green Goo to complete a quest.

In the clearing where you grab the "BRATS" dolls from the river with the Throwing Star, I believe two screens above Arrowseye I can't seem to make a monster of any kind appear so I can kill it :)
I am using the party of Fate Tash and Saber that includes Kestral.

Again, not sure if it matters to the game or not, just been grinding looking those those elusive Green Goos :)
Does upgrading attack buff skills do anything other than fulfill skill prerequisites? If not, I should probably stop upgrading them once I have the third one.

Edit: Also, there seems to be a lot of shining points in Tyrone when I use the x-ray glasses, but they don't seem to yield anything. I reloaded to a save from before examining them just in case, but are those for a quest?
Is there any way to get Elegant Charm, one more time. Cos one I was needed to finish quest with witch and second I need to get some rare item from armor shop in Tyrone.
