Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

@ Bugfragged, that's nice, you help Stif but totally overlook my earth shattering delimmer .... :)

Bug, can you help me ???
tbh, all I remember is that you have to use the Zippo on the pump a few times, but I'm not exactly sure how many times it takes. I wish Luster put a healing checkpoint between some of those puzzles in Mt. Gelado.

Thanks Buggy, got a message from Luster, said 5-10 times with the Zippo......

OH REALLY, did he forget there is a deadly monster chasing me ??? :)
I'm playing this game and I'm having lots of fun, but I have some questions:

Where do you find all of Gummi's gadgets? When I try to enter her house in Tyrone a woman throws me out. Do I have to meet and save Gummi several times like with the shuriken thingie and googles? A list where you can meet Gummi, please... :D

How do I rob the Little girl's house? I managed to use Zippo ( is that another gadget) although I don't have it and I found the key and entered the house but it's full of spikes and I HAVE NO IDEEA WHAT TO DO.:(

Thanks in advance.
I think you get all the gadgets just by progressing in the game. The spikes require you to use one of the goggles/glasses type gadgets.

BlackLilith, too many questions :) just like me.

You meet Gummi at various points in the game and most times she gives you gadgets but I believe one of the NPCs also gives you one.
The Zippo is to break into or thru things. So use it on a little haystack for the key to brats house.
As for the spikes, don't for get "D" which helps you see traps and treasure.
All the "gadgets" appear in the upper left of your screen.

Hope that helps....

AAAHHHHH CRAP, forgot the portal in Capt. Dia's house was the end of this game :(

OK LUSTERMX, get to work on part II :)
Congratulations on winning three Misaos, including Game of the Year.
Okay priciate the help @Linkis & @Bugfragged. I got a lotta fish and saved 1 level egg but I kinda want to save it til later. Might need to go back to down and get armor for frost/water too. I would like to see this made into a series and maybe help test them to further my skill for my first game.

Congrats on those whatchamacallit awards :)

Glad you and your game got the recognition it deserved.
Although personally, I think you should have received more :)

Guess you better write that walkthrough since Lunar Wish should be getting
a few more downloads :)
I love this game so far, although I am stuck in the beginning. Think you could help me find that girl's ribbon (Kestrel or something like that)?
Thanks in advance!

@Vanillatogether...with what ?? :)

I went crazy trying to find that ribbon. I just went up to the cave and back several times and talked with those on the field a few times and all of a sudden it was just there, sitting on the ground.
Yes, it is a little frustrating but you can do it :)
And yes, this game is long and fantastic. I'm just sorry it takes so long to make
a game this good so I will be old and grey when I get to play part 2 :)
Hi!
Did any subquests were ulocked after Gummi cleared our names? In the game end i have 31% side completion but on my quest list i have 10 quests(8 completed) Maybe i should travel across the Isle, and search for some missing adventures^^
There's not only side quests to complete but special items to find which contribute to the 100% completion
Can someone help me with the puzzle that you get to after you get rid of the bunnies predators. The puzzle has four buttons, four bunny pads, one Fate pad, and one lever that when flipped resets the buttons.
You must look at the four flowers above the four rabits and fate. Push the buttons in colour order like the flowers are. Sorry for grama^^
I saw the flowers, thanks for the help.

I just completed this game and I have to say that I really enjoyed it, I love the story. :) I also noticed that everyone in the Hall of Fame are around lvl 50 and find that a bit weird considering I completed the game with everyone lvl 23-25 and no deaths. I'll probably re-complete it at some point because I want 100% and because I'll need something to do while waiting for the next part. :P Btw, you should fix the quest where you have to save the 4 kids, I had to restart several times because the 4th one glitched.

Wow, it's been such a long time since I posted this. I recently started playing this game again because I wanted to achieve my old goal which is to complete the game under level 20. I just got past the big ice wolf boss with my party level 9 (Arc level 10) only using Arc and letting the fire deal 800 damages every turns to the big guy because everyone else died. I'm still enjoying this game as much as the last time I completed it and hope to see the sequel soon (by soon I mean within the next 9 months but I know it's probably gonna be longer). I'll make sure to send a screenshot of my sub level 20 team for the Hall of Fame (I forgot on my first completion) ;). I was also wondering if you were going to re-release the 1.08 at some point or skip to 1.09 since the 1.08 was broken.
How can I get the special equipment for Myst?
I heard I needed to talk to all the "I'm satanding here..." people, but i'm almost sure I did it already but the old man in Mt. Gelato doesn't give me anything. Just to make sure, I meet these:

-Avale: ...because I'm a coke fan!
-Tyrone: ...because I'm old!
-Arrowseye: ...because I hate everyone!
-Snowdown: ...because it's cold!
-Lumeni: ...because I blend in!
-Moo moo chick farm: ...because I'm hungry!
-Tag's fort: ...because the creator ran out of ideas! (Arc also makes a comment here)
-Mt.Gelato: I'm standing here.

Are there still more of them?
Um, what do you do with all the boss gems? Like the Whisper Gem, Phreeoni Gem, Garm Gem, etc.?
Also, where do you find soul stones, and the amulets (clover, spade, heart)?
