Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

Hello,

I need help, please.

Why is my Zippo doesn't work in prison. I can't break Larry out.
The guards are out eating soup, so what am I doing wrong?

Also where can I find "diamond amulet" for Shady Man in Tyrone
Weapon Shop. I've read somewhere here that I get it from Bunny Quest,
but I finish all other 12 quest and don't have a Diamond Amulet in my
inventory.

Appreciate any help.

Oops.

Sorry for multiple submit. I'm new here.
Hello!!

Am I the only one here on this forum?
Just finished with 100% completion - what a masterpiece! Really a work of art. I enjoyed every minute of it, and can't wait for the sequel. You deserved the Misao award, for sure.
i am downloading it now it looks good cant wait to play it and get ideas on how to set the difficulty for enemies :)

in classroom 1 upper right desk lets you walk through it, so far a great game :)
What do I need to distract the shopkeeper in snowdowntown ?
I really loved this game, been on a bit of a RPG Maker game craze for the past little while. Played through all of my old favorites and decided to pick up a new one and grabbed this one. I'm glad that I did, really loved the game. I even made a new account, since my old one apparently disappeared, just to say so. Of course I also wanted to ask if the sequel is still being worked on. Hope so, really would love to see it even if it's as a commercial game like some other people have done.
I liked this game when readind the summary and the features
because I like Classic RPGs and sideview battle system.
I'll download it and play it soon.
By far one of my absolute favorite RPG maker games! Loved the characters, the humour, the quests, the open world and the story line! It's been a long time since I played this game, but still felt like I had to comment here at some point because of the fact that this game has stayed with me for so long, and my thoughts still reach back to the game sometimes. A game everyone who loves RPG maker games must play.
I really like this game a lot so far! I've been playing for 13 hours++ in total.

I've been walking around tag's fort for quite some time now, but I still can't figure out how to barge down the door in tag's hospital. I've beaten two spirits so far (not sure if its connected to breaking down the door)
hi, great game, but finished it, but i don't know if i've got the last version of it, and the first link doesn't work:(

where can i download that version?

thanks

The first link is V 1.08 on Google Drive.
It DOES work as I just tried it.

The thing that does NOT work is because of the file size
Google cannot scan it for viruses, that is all.

Hope this helps.

No worries, I got yo back. That has to have been a new record, though. Nice one! ^.^
I need help with the Mt. Gelado , there is a switc that when is touched apears a promt taht says that the switch is broken . . . how to fix it?
Been playing this for a while now (about 5 hours; just starting chapter 6) and just decided to give my thoughts on it sooner rather than later.
First I'll start by saying I definitely do like it, but I feel like there's quite a bit of wasted potential here. Some of the smaller events seem a bit rushed, and some characters accept things a bit too quickly. I like the characters, but they seem like they could have used a bit more depth when it came to these things.
Then there's the matter of the combat. It definitely has gotten somewhat better by the point I'm at, but around the start of the game it was really bland, and didn't really grab me at all. I know that it's common for RPGs to start small and all that, but at the same time you have to remember how important first impressions are. I honestly almost stopped playing at the end of chapter one because the first impression I got was pretty subpar at best.
I should admit that I'm not really a big fan of turn-based RPGs, so I don't play very many of them and I don't really know what all the standards are for combat systems, but even so I feel like this one is a bit generic in that regard. I think maybe it could have benefited from some extra gameplay elements (probably stuff that would require some scriptwork) to keep things from feeling like just any other RPG made in RPG Maker.
Aside from those things that keep the game from being as amazing as it could be, I'm having fun with it and am looking forward to playing more.
It took a bit of warming up-to in the beginning, but this game is pretty much perfect for what it does! 10/10 potential

(Possible spoiler text in white between square brackets )

I've become stuck with [robbing the Little Girl's House] sidequest in Arrowseye village though, and not sure if this is a bug or puzzle:

- After getting the key and entering the house, the cutscene shows a bunch of spike traps on the floor
- But using the x-ray specs does nothing to show them

This happens on version 1.05, so just wanted to know if this is a puzzle or fixed bug before having to start all over after upgrading to 1.07 :s
I this game having a next episode . . . or something ?
Hi. I played this game after I quit with the demo - so I'm glad I found a complete version.
In the fountain temple I run into a game brake when near the upper right exit of the rolling snowball map.

Right now I'm stuck with the second bunny quest, when you need a translator for the blahblah part. Where can I find him/her/it?

I just found him - I was sure to already talked to him - sometimes you need multiple tries before an event plays - like the key in the haystack in Arrowseye.

For now I will grind until all characters have mastered there skill tree and got all buyable skills. Why is the transport spot on MT. Gelado so expensive.

I'm currently ill, so don't mind any mistakes...
