“Fragile Hearts: Shattered Dreams” is the official title. This game is a direct sequel to the original Fragile Hearts, and players will be able to carry over their saved games from FH1 for special character appearances and optional storylines. Sprites, environments, and battles will be visually more appealing, and the rest… will pretty much stick to the basics. 8 new episodes tell the complete tale of Fragile Hearts 2.

Plot
When an angel and a demon have inappropriate relations with one another, the truce between heaven and hell is broken and an evil god is summoned upon the world of the mortals. Meanwhile, a hegemonic federation has surfaced and has banned the use of magic throughout the world. Our heroes from the previous game may be the only ones able to stop these horrible injustices from happening! Unfortunately, they’ve retired and are unwilling to help.

Join a new batch of zany characters as they combine forces to overthrow the meddling federation and destroy the evil war god. You’ll also meet many new and peculiar characters along the way, such as Kozoh, a defective robot that steals shit; Yaga, an unsuccessful prostitute; Palmer, a talking dog (and Gulliver’s rival); and Oggy, a citizen of the walking dead persuasion.

Protagonists
Tobin – A transvestite who is destined to save the world. Afraid of weapons and hates violence.
Maddy- The younger sister of Haddy. Kicked out of the Witches academy for incompetence.
Bazur- A lost demon of the underworld with no way back home.
Meera- A fallen angel. Banished from heaven for having certain relations with a demon.

FEATURES:
-FH:SD will include the entire first game (exclusive v.1.4 extended cut). Save files from FH1 can be carried over.
-Differing story routes, a total of 8 playable characters are possible.
-Revamped Battle system
-8 directional movement
-New graphics and portraits

Update being worked on.

After a brief absence, Arlyeon has returned to the site and has been gracious enough to help me with the next update of Fragile Hearts SD. I'm working on the bugs right now, and trying to implement some of his suggestions as I go along.

Admittedly, my RM time has diminished since I completed this game. I pretty much put everything I had into it, including my enthusiasm for the program. No, I'm not quitting the scene or anything, I've just been taking a well needed break. Anyways, this game still needs some work done before I'm perfectly happy with it, and the next sequel will have to wait until that has happened. In the meantime, I'm still piecing away at Memories Neverlasting, so keep an eye out for that.

The title: Dragon Hearts SD makes is seem more like a re-vamping of the original game, instead of a direct sequel. If you changed the title screen to say: Fragile Hearts: Shattered Dreams, that would seem much more appropriate.
I did consider that, I'm just kinda putting it in line with other anime series that follow the letter trend this way though (ex. DBZ, Gundam V, etc). Also, because the whole first game is included, in a way I suppose it is a revamp as I'm sure it will have some updates included.
I'm feelin this will be one hell of a trash game. Can't wait! :-D
Hey Ben Random... Do you think about what you type before you type it? Your typing makes you seem fat (and gay). You lazy eyed, dick fisted dirt grinder... You're lower then a mammothrept you australopithecinic, cum twisted, peen herder.... that is all.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out, Lord NeoNazi.
I can't wait for this game to come out! I beat the first one 2 different times so I could play through both carry-over scenarios in the sequel. I also made this profile just so I could tell you how much I liked the first game, PLEASE keep up the great work! :D
Thanks so much! I'll do my best to make sure it's a worthy successor!
Progress Update (16/05/12):

Woo! New title screen!

It looks really good. How did you make that?

That line cracked me up.

Brandon is a graphic designer, so I got him to do some odd jobs here and there for me. He did the title screens for FH1, FH2, FH3, and ~Memories Neverlasting~, as well as some character portrait edits for FH1 (which I totally f'd up after lol).

And nice to see you again too! Unworthy of a blog, but here's the latest:

Ep.1- 99%
Ep.2- 99%
Ep.3- 99%
Ep.4- 95%
Ep.5- 99%
Ep.6- 100%
Ep.7- 97%
Ep.8- 90%

EDITED 13/11/2012
Left to do: shop checks, treasure placement, tileset pass check, added content for Eps 4 and 8.
The wait is nearly over! Beta testers have now started their playthroughs!

Edit: So far, the bug list isn't nearly as bad as I'd feared. Hopefully the rest will hold up as strong!
Game released!

Thanks to the 45 first day downloaders! If anyone has any problems, please don't hesitate to let me know!
I keep getting file vehicle cannot be opened

Anyone know how to fix that ?
Yep, you need to have the rm2k3 RTP installed on your computer to play games made in that engine. We're not allowed to package it in the DL here, but just do a google search and you shouldn't have too much problem finding it. Sorry for the inconvenience, I wish there was a way around it.
