If you are expecting Marie goes to space to be a game, they you will be disappointed. It is not a game; it is a reflection. If you play it as a game, then it will be the worst game ever made. That is why you must only think of it as a reflection. Let it sink in and let the emotions go through you!

Anyway, this is a "game" which I have worked about 3 hours total on so far, and it's already almost done. Basically it's two very mini games one after another. My plan was to make a Warioware type game where you have a mini game one after another, but with a story. However, this one only has two mini games. I might make a better version later. As for this version, well I am going to finish it this weekend and then I'll add the download.

I swear I've seen that girl before! Maybe...

As in Maybe - Queen of the Land. I think that's what it was called.
Yes. Maybe you have. And maybe she was (going to be) called Marie as well. I don't know... Maybe?

Anyway this game is my self frustration at not doing the only game I started doing this summer, and the character from that game is angry.
hahaha what the hell? why did i play this like ten times in a row

hahahaha amazing!
(Socrates would certainly not contadict me!)
Not bad! one big liberation explosion!
I actually enjoyed this. You should remove the possibility to resize the window if you can though.
Oh yeah I noticed if you resize it lags at some points. I don't think I can lock the size of the window with Flash though. I would have to look into it.

Well I'm glad everyone liked it for what it is. I would like to do more with it eventually. Make it a bit more fast paced and have multiple small mini games one after another. Kind of like warioware. Instead of just 2.

This World is No Longer for Me: A Review of Marie Goes to Space

this is the best puzzle game ever--u will spend countless minutes during and after the game puzzling life, puzzling the cosmos, and puzzling what recreational drugs the developer was on when s/he sat down, took a hit, and set to work on this existential masterpiece

i give it 5 leftover Ehrgeiz character models out of 5

all is better now.....

there is that 300 words yet???

I'm not sure why I'm getting a Rampage-like vibe from this game, but that's what I'm getting. Maybe actually playing it will answer that question, though I suspect that there will be plenty that are raised.

I've now played this, and it's more or less exactly what I was expecting. I flubbed by first launch, but after that, I was consistently getting something like 2760 for my score.

Is this surreal? I don't think I have the qualifications to say either way. Is it silly? It certainly came off that way to me, though that might not have been the creator's intent. Would I recommend this? Yes and no. On one hand, I find the replay value is minimal at best. On the other, I must note that it's short play time (it can be completed in under a minute, if not less) allows it to fit into the busiest of schedules.

In summary, this game is short, mindless fun. While such games are useful from time-to-time, those that are seeking a deeper experience should look elsewhere.

Good news: this game is art.

Bad news: this game is modern art.
Marie should TOTALLY be an "assist trophy" in Super Smash Bros 4. I mean, I will not be buying that game if she isn't in it, she's that cool!
10/10 loved when she "boi'd" the buildings to destroy them.
