I hate unicorns now.

Magical Unicorn Adventure is an indie game created using some programming code. It has some really nice and relaxing graphics and some very nice and relaxing music. But don't let that fool you... The rage is about to set in as you try your hardest to play this game.

You start the game at a level selection screen. You will choose the first level for now, and if you have the patience to finish it, you can use it to select the second level. In each level you need to find some sort of scroll. Once you find that you can find a sign that says end. Then the level is finished. You have a time limit and a lot of obstacles, like spikes and pit holes. To complete a level you need to jump, shoot unicorns, and use a rope.

I think the developer was on something magical when making this.

Get ready to play a game with the most terrible control scheme and physics that just don't make sense. The A button is your confirmation button for the menus and level selection screen. It is also the button for jumping. And your character will jump around in the most stiff and awkward positions. The Q button is for shooting out the unicorn and the S button is for shooting out your rope... Wait... It' not that simple. You need to press the directional button to make it work (so it will go in the direction you want it to.) Yes, that's the same buttons you use to move you character. So, if you're standing on a cliff you might fall off and have to restart the level. Another issue is that the unicorn starts walking right away, so you need to press the rope button very quickly after, otherwise you'll miss the unicorn. The result of this terrible control scheme is frequent death by falling off cliffs.

I can't count the number of times it took me to just finish the first level of this game. The controls don't respond the way they should. Your character moves around so awkwardly, especially using the rope, that you sometimes have no control over where you'll end up. A player that wasn't reviewing this game would have given up after the first couple tries. I give this game game a 1 /5.

Congratulations on reviewing this. I was going to but found it to be pretty unplayable and I deleted it after realizing that there was absolutely nothing fun about it. That took about two minutes.
