Epic. Comedic. And everything inbetween. Follow an enormous cast of seemingly unrelated people as they explore just how awesome this world really is.

Political drama, political intrigue, political unrest, political upheaval, political science, political awesomeness - and that's just the political stuff.

~Features~

- Expansive ensemble cast - hundreds of named and developed characters - you'll encounter assassins, child geniuses, defunct royalty, loose cannon detectives, pop singers, mafia, corrupt clergy, false main characters, secret organizations, even secret-er organizations

- Expansive story across dozens of groups, parties, associations, factions, sub-factions, subdivisions, longdivisions, P.O.V.'s, P.O.W.'s, P.O. Boxes. Basically, this game is a riot.

- Expansive array of mini games and other distractions. Puzzles, shooting, memory games, reflex action, car chases, and other things that have nothing to do with RPGs.

- Expansive soundtrack. Seriously. Expansive.

========Author's Note=============
Honestly, jokes aside. This game is a project we've been working on for years. Like 15 years. If this description is too vague, it's because this game covers way too much material to describe in a synopsis. You really just need to see for yourself. Everything we see in real life/television/etc that we consider funny or awesome or whatever we aspire to put in the game. This is the result.

We take pride in our story telling and character development. It's the focus of our project, along with our music selection and directing techniques.

We hope you have as much fun playing this game, as we did making it.

AYYY RELEASED

Remember two years ago we said remake was incoming? I had everything sorted out like "Man, this is going smoothly for a change." Then Life said "Haha, hold my beer."

Anyway. No more empty promises... HERE IT IS!

More characters!
More story!
More cutscenes!
More CBS!
Less meaningless gameplay elements!

If you've played the original version, everything after the first 5 minutes have been revised. Many characters have been rewritten or redesigned(especially Phenix and Misty), and you'll follow multiple storylines concurrently with Phenix and Sledge. No more default battles, they've all been replaced with CBS.

Episode 1 is complete. Episode 2 is in progress.

As always, let me know of any bugs you encounter. I've played it through multiple times, but never formally had anyone else test it.

Tell me what you think of the new characters, the narrative, flow, etc.

Hey man, I found a "bug". It's actually an error message that pops up.

Right after the battle between Abigail and that bear, when she is defending the princess. I'm actually bad at the minigame so I lost the battle, and when you lose the mini-game you get "Event script referenced an event that does not exist".

When do think you'll put up the download?
We have a lot done, but good sections here and there are unpolished. We're trying to decide on a good cutoff point for the demo and clean up everything up to that point.

YOU!!! Even though you stopped updating this page, I still waited for the game to release. Thank goodness all those 6 years of waiting was worth it. You're officially back eh?
Thanks for bringing this game to my attention, Deckiller. ^.^ ~Downloading~

Ugh I can't delete my double posts anymore since I'm not admin. :P
I just finished this episode of Neo Jado.

It's hard for me to describe how good you guys are at storytelling!!! The way the events unfold, along with the subtle character development is awesome to behold. Each of the characters were well fleshed out. They almost seemed REAL to a certain extent. Take Charlie, for example. He is just a good kid doing good deeds and the way he was portrayed made him seem savvy and wise beyond his age. The level of maturity he showed belies the fact that he is just some little kid. He is captain of a fishing vessel and he even goes out on a date! But the way he was written makes you believe every second of it. That takes some real talent and you guys have it in spades.

I really enjoyed the new battle system. Maybe it was just my computer, but it did get really laggy in the field battles whenever I had Phenix AND Sledge. I kinda winged it and pressed 1, 2, and 3 repeatedly. I usually got a critical hit pretty quickly and ended the battles before too much damage could be done. However, everything ran smoothly everywhere else. I still quite enjoyed battling the Dragon of Unlimited Evil. Overall, it is a unique system that makes this game standout among other RPGs (in a good way).

The cut-scenes were a thing of beauty! I liked them all, but I particularly enjoyed the battle between Haste and Koji. It reminded me of a mix of anime and old 70s/80s kung fu/ninja flicks that I grew up watching and still watch to this day. I loved how you introduced important plot characters too. The artwork and stills were beautiful. They added flavor to the story in ways you wouldn't believe. I could go on and on about the comedic elements and the movie quotes, but I'll just say that the timing was impeccable and I was able to recognize many of the movie references. I just about died laughing at the quote from Ninja Assassin, but it was very fitting for that scene.

Thank you guys again. I've been sold on this game since seeing the opening trailer years ago and even more so now. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the finished product.

The mp3 did play outside of RPGMaker. I removed the mp3 and the scene did play out without the music. However, I got the same error again after that awesome pic of the Jugand army. The pic shows directly after Jugand marches into Cornwall. After the text fades and the screen turns black, the "Not implemented" bug strikes again.
Definitely seems to be the MP3s crashing your game. This is well above my understanding.

I did a quite google search for your error and found that it's common regarding mp3s in 2k3, if you check here.

Our RMN forums might know better about a solution. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the help. Your trail of breadcrumbs helped out quite a bit.

After a little digging, I figured out a temporary method that bypassed the error. I uploaded the KLK mp3 file to Audacity and exported it as an mp3 with a Standard bitrate (170-210 kbps). I replaced the old KLK mp3 file with the new one in the music folder. As of now, the scene plays wonderfully with the music and all.

Problem is, it occurred again after the Jugand pic scene. At this rate, I'd have to upload all of the mp3s to Audacity one at a time and export each of them with the Standard bitrate, because I have no way of knowing which mp3 is about to play in each scene.

Edit:

I got the "Not implemented" crash bug a lot too because of mp3s. Turns out it was an audio codec that was missing for some reason. I downloaded the K-Lite Codec pack and it fixed it right up. Hope that helps!

I tried your idea and it worked!!! Thank you guys for the assistance. It speaks volumes about this community how we come together and help each other out.

I keep getting a "Not Implemented" bug early in the game, just after the Ringuardia soldiers fire their arrows. Phenix and the kids were talking about Lady in the scene just before this one.

Anyway, the soldier fire their arrows, the screen scrolls down, and just before you see who is standing in the middle, the "Not Implemented" alert appears and keeps rapidly appearing until the program crashes.

Help please! I'm been waiting far too long to play this to let a bug stop me!

Edit: I activated the bug again, so that I could screenshot it for you:
That exact moment you're crashing, the BGM changes. The name of the MP3 is "KLK - Kiryuin Satsuki" from the music folder. I don't know what the exception is exactly, but trying to run that MP3 seems to be the cause. Can you see if you can even open that mp3 file outside of rpgmaker? Possibly corrupted download? Bit rate issue? If all else fails, you could probably delete the mp3 and watch the scene without the BGM.
