It's been a week since release. Other than a few gamebreaking problems that needed fixing, it's been a pretty smooth release. And now we're back to work.

For the next release, we're planning on introducing some of the other playable main characters that didn't make the cut for the first installment. My biggest regret from the first installment was that the cutoff comes before introducing the female lead. It just didn't work out logistically.

This next release might be a smaller one, but that also means it might come sooner than including the next few chapters. Meanwhile, I'll update the profile. We've got a lot of outdated screens and videos. As always, go ahead and let us know any questions, concerns, suggestions, etc.

Will we be playing with new characters in those locations?

You bet.

New locales means new casts of NPCs too, though. Still a lot of writing to do for all of them.

Haven't updated in a while.

We're compiling and editing a bunch of new resources. The next chapters have three totally different settings... Parsia, Jugand, and the Kumiko Confederation. That's desert, permafrost, and tropical environments.

Quite a wide variety needed before we can get into the meat of things, and almost zero carry over from the standard medieval fantasy setting so far.

Thanks for clarifying, I actually smiled at myself when I read what you said, lol.
(It wasn't that much of a inconvenience, I just wanted to change the controls, after a couple of minutes I decided to use Sharpkeys to change them, so it all worked out in the end, hehe.)

Whenever I try to access the options menu on the main menu, it exit's me out of the game. I hover over it and then press enter. How do I access the options menu? Thanks in advance, and thank you guys for making this game. :D

Oh, man. I totally forgot about that.

There actually aren't any options. It's a gag meant for RM users who know (but happen to forget) that the third option in the default title screen is always Exit Game, regardless of what you call it.

Sorry about that inconvenience, but it definitely made my day that we got somebody with that one. And thanks for playing. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you get duped many more times while playing.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but I'll put it here anyways.

Okay, clearing out some outdated screens, and updating the selection today, mostly from the demo, though.

However several of them will be previews from the next installment.

I need to do something about those youtube videos, too.

Also added to the characters sections.

Speaking of female characters, is Abigail gonna make the playable roster? I have a sneaky feeling that under her clumsy facade belies an expert fighter. I mean, she does come from a famous family of knights.

SHHHHHhhhh...

As for how many playable characters, it started tentatively at 9. That number's gonna go up and down as we go along. Some characters are critical to the story, but just have no business being in combat, so we'll drop them from that list. Others were created as side characters and have since emerged as break out characters.

Free movement is so hard to balance when there's urgent story linearity going on. The party isn't exactly on an adventure. But we do eventually want more exploration.

As for the actions scenes... that's what we do.

Also, how many playable characters do you guys have planned right now?

Are there gonna be more action sequences and battles similar to the Dragon of Unlimited Evil?

The only concern I have was the one I mentioned before, which was about exploration. Other than that, keep up the good work!
