How can magic really exist? What are the limits of the mind and body? What can men and women become beyond the scope of their own physical being?
In this world Gods exist as an extension of the living spirit. The destiny of every living thing is interconnected until an ancient force reveals itself once again and brings question to existence itself. Gordie, our hero, traverses the globe in search of answers to the great truth. Is he Nightworthy? Can he conquer his inner demons as well as those that expose themselves around him? Who will help him unveil the truth?

Closeauthor=Judeauthor=SolitayreStealing from commercial games isn't kosher, but you can't pretend it's the same thing as stealing from indie developers. It is akin to robbing your own struggling family versus shoplifting from a Wal-Mart in a different state.
So basically, in this community, stealing form commercial games is widely considered acceptable, stealing from other indie artists is universally condemned. Like I said, it's an arbitrary and stupid distinction, and I don't agree with it at all, but there it is.
It's not like he's selling the game Jude, crusade elsewhere.
No, he's not selling it, but would you steal some one else's baby? (not that it has to be the case here, I don't know how much is ripped off?), oh, how about asking permission, that would do it

Uh, the Download section should contain a copy of the game. NOT an .mp3 file(pretty sure it's against the rules). There is a Media section for stuff like that.

*sigh* If you couldn't tell already, I'm new to this site. I 'submitted' the .mp3 into the downloads unknowingly. Didn't mean to break any rules...

I haven't seen or felt an ounce of hate here, but whatever, keep doing your game, it would be a pity to make a drama of this, you sound sincerely motivated so go! (the rest is your problem after all).
If I can shear my thoughts on the rescores stealing issue:
The reason using resources from commercial games is widely accepted… because we pretty much have to.
Most of us aren’t artists, the best a lot of us can do is a few minor alterations and that’s that. Commercial sources are the best way, in fact pretty much the only way, for designers to make good looking games. Graphically at least.
That out of the way, it’s nice to see an adventure game. It’s a very underappreciated genre IMHO.

I never even heard about this game until just right now after all those new screenshots were put up. This looks incredible! I just love the way how this game looks. And, judging by the date - you’ve been working on this for around 4 years or so? That’s some sweet dedication right there! How close are you to getting this done or at least putting out a demo for this? I would seriously love to play it.
