In the dream of a child stands an ancient manor filled with forsaken fancies and empty memories. Mysterious yet familiar to the child that wanders the lifeless house. What lies at the start of waking? Is this truly a dream? A memory? An illusion or reality?

This project contains the compiled maps from the Manor Mapping Madness collaboration. The aim of this project was to create a room with atmosphere - whether it be spooky, dream-like or creepy is up to the map maker.

Bug Update

There's a bug in the new version which makes it impossible to pass. I'm not sure exactly how it happened but a variable was changed and broke the event to get the sun key. I've since fixed the map but there's a few small bits and pieces I've been meaning to fix as well and I'd like to get them done before I upload the (here's hoping) absolute version.

Just unzip and paste the Map0005 and Map0043 files in with the rest of the maps (in the game folder). That should fix it up for now.

If you run into any more bugs, just leave a comment under this blog and I'll add it to the list for fixing and update the patch above.

Quick Update: Added another map to the patch (in downloads section). Apparently one of the switches had been deleted in the end event, leading to the game not being able to be finished. No idea how that came to pass but it's fixed now. Thankfully.

Posts

Alright, I added to the media section. Thank you for letting me upload my video, that is very cool.

Sucks about the copyright though, I was hoping to stick to the man lol but it doesn't really matter to me. This game is too awesome to worry about silly copyright claims.
Um, hello. I'm not sure if anyone's said this or not because I didn't want to sort through ten pages of comments but my game keeps crashing when I use the hand mirror on the mirror in the bathroom. I guess I'm missing the file for that part? I....honestly know what's suppose to happen and all but I see the girl and it crashes.
Oh God. There's an avi file that is supposed to play, but on some computers it messes up completely. I have no idea why this is or how to fix it. Perhaps make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date?
I've no idea. :<
That said, you really don't need to do that room (though it does lead to one optional area) and not seeing it won't stop you from reaching the ending - if that's any consolation.

Again, sorry.
Alright. I guess I'll skip it and move on for now because I really want to finish the game and then see if I can work out why my computer doesn't want to load it.
Yeah, I'm not sure why, but some people have it crash. Most are fine, though. It's an odd bug.
This is probably a pretty dumb question, but why do i keep getting the message that says the download limit for this game has been reached and to try again at a certain UTC time? I've tried waiting that time out, i only got a new time, I tried making an account and that still didnt help. Is there something im doing wrong, this keeps happening for almost every game i try to download. (im only asking here because i couldnt any forums or articles that mentioned it.)
Mmh. I don't know why that could be... Have you tried using a download manager program to see if that works?

Edit: My manager automatically downloads any game I click on. Check the setting of yours for a similar feature.
Well i would like to try and use my download manager, but it seems either the download button (not sure what you call it) doesnt have a link for the download or maybe my computer just cant read it (when i right click, it doesnt show up with any links) and i dont know how to download stuff with a manager without entering the link for it in. I have noticed my computer does not like public servers though, it never lets me do a download through them so ive been using the manager for those. Let me know if there is a way to download these through the manager or if theres some other problem you can think of thats causing it, i really like playing these Horror RPG games. Btw, when i click the download button for most of the games on this sight, it just reloads the page, it doesnt even try and connect to another sight that probably has the download.
That is very odd, actually. The whole pop-up thing about downloading at a certain time is set to show up when someone has downloaded a particular link in the last 24 hours so as to discourage download-spamming for numbers. "Look, Ma, 34564524352 downloads in a week!!!"

What I'd suggest is two things - try a different browser and report the incident in the site feedback forum. Just explain what keeps happening and maybe show a screenshot. Also, don't double-click on the download links, if you're doing that. It might be resetting the downloads? (I have no idea.)

I'll see if I can't bring it up with other staff, too.
Hmmm, still didnt work, although my browser does run about 4 times as fast as the last one, but it still says the same thing when i try the download. I wonder if maybe it has to do with my computer. (I did not carry the info of my last browser over btw). Well im just going to have to give up on it, guess i wont get a chance to play alot of these games. :( Thx for trying to help, i guess i got a faster browser in the end. The thing i dont get is why i can instantly download some games (like Eclipse, Ravenwood, I Miss the Sunrise) and then some i just get that time message (like this game here and pretty much every other game on this site.......)

Are you sure you don't have a bug of some sort?
Have you tried clicking on the 'Download' heading and check to see if the links there work.
Yeah, it sounds like either you have a bug of some type on your computer or, for some reason, RMN is denying you access.

Just a quick question - the games you managed to download, were they hosted off-site? As in, did a page open to another site like Mediafire or the like when you clicked the link?

If so, there might be something denying you access to the RMN host database. Maybe check your computer firewall permissions, browser permissions, Adblock (if you have it - if not, I recommend getting it) and the like (though I can't see why a firewall would allow mediafire and not RMN).
Im not sure, i dont think i do. Could it have something to do with my firewall, like i said earlier my computer wont download from public servers. Would you call these public servers?
Possibly. Maybe you could google a way around it? Like, how to change your firewall settings or something. Perhaps try disabling the firewall for a little while and see if you can download when that happens.
Yep that worked, i didn't realize these were public servers and my computer likes to take 5-15 minutes just to start the download even when my firewall is off. The time problem i kept getting is because I'm very impatient and (when it didn't open right away) I clicked download again.......
Nine will save...
Um, I love the game but when I try to look in the mirror through the brush in the bathroom with the blonde woman the screen goes black it the game exits out. It closes the game on me. Do you have any clue as to what's going on?
A video is supposed to play there, but I guess not all computer can play it... must be a codecs issue.

Try this one instead. Just paste it in the 'Movie' folder of the game, and overwrite the one that is there.

Please, please let me know if that works, DeliriumAngel. I've had a few people ask about this and I had not fix for it. >.<;

If it does work I'll reupload with AE's fix. (And owe AE a big ol' favour, at that.)
