Are those mechanical arms strapped to her shoulders?

She must be related to Doctor Octopus! ^^

I really dig her design. It's interesting, because without those mechanical doohickeys, she'd look awfully fragile when looking at her without them at first glance. With those things strapped on her shoulders, she looks like quite the formable opponent.

Keep up the good work, comrade, orochii.

(Also, can she wield "4" weapons at once? That would be pretty sweet.)

She's an engineer, a very fragile and young one (doesn't has degree but is some kind of empirical self-teaching one). And of course, she doesn't has any combat training as opposed to almost any other character in the game.
Have to say too that the mechanical arms are a little inspired in Precis, a Star Ocean character that uses some mechanical arms at her back too.

As for gameplay impact from her design, didn't thought about anything by now haha! The 4-wielding seems neat, I'll see what I can do C:
