Hi! Long time no post~

Just wanted to give anyone curious a heads up on what's been going on in Star Stealing Prince terms. I've been working on the sequel for far too long and I'm finally getting it posted! Oh, but wait, it's not an RPG--it's a webnovel. So if that is an automatic turn off, that's cool! You don't have to read if you don't want to.

For those that do, hop on over here: https://ephemeralprince.wordpress.com/ and you can start reading. I have the prologue and chapter 1 up so far. Don't forget to check the About page (it gives you explanations and reasons). I hope if it does interest you and you read it, that you enjoy it!

Thanks for all your kind words on Star Stealing Prince in general as well. I figure I could spend every hour of my day thanking everyone but it won't be enough.

I was thinking about that but I'm not sure yet how to do it. Should I do tracks for each chapter or whatnot? I think the style I was using supports music should I want to put it in. Hmm hmm
You know what might be cool? If you looped various tracks in the background of ephemeral prince on the web novel to create more atmosphere while reading through the different chapters. I think it would really help connect with some of the readers better. The music in SSP helped immerse the players more in the story and I think that something along those lines might help with the web novel so at least its not just a bunch of quiet words on a screen.

Oooh, I really like that song!
Gah Im starting to miss this game. I was messing around on youtube and found a song that almost encompasses everything I felt while playing Star Stealing Prince. Just wished the experience lasted longer Q_Q.

If you want to read the good ending sequel when I start posting it, masterjoze, you're going to have to read the bad ending sequel sooner or later, haha. They're connected!
The web novel definitely lets you know something bad happened but it does a really good job of making you forget the bad ending from SSP with how happy it feels. At least up to date.
Ack! I want to read it so bad, but I got the good ending, and I feel as if reading the web-novel will destroy my cleanliness. I've been wanting to read it for like two weeks now. I will not surrender to my booklust. :(
Ah the clarity puts my mind at ease now!

Hehe, sorry! On my About page on that tumblr, I explain it! Fleeting is the Bad Ending Sequel and Permanence is the Good Ending Sequel!

Thank you again for letting us know you enjoy them! We totally appreciate it! :D
What exactly are Fleeting and Permanence? I thought the bad sequel was called the Ephemeral Prince? Forgive me for asking its just that my brain has been a little mushy lately with the hardcore testing on Homework Salesman that ive been doing for Diedrupo.

On another note, I would like to thank for you making SSP again. I wouldnt have touched HWS were it not for me liking this series in the first place =D.

I shouldn't have said anything! You set me up for that! XD Though I do have both sequels all planned out (though the good ending plans have shifted a tad bit and I'll have to figure out if I need to split up some chapters (it's a juggernaut, believe me)). I'm actually nearing the end of Fleeting if you really want to know (starting chap 19 out of 22 (or 23) soon).

I do it this way for two reasons: it allows me to constantly check the story as a whole to get rid of any issues before I post and because it gives me a nice buffer for the worse case scenario. Last year I was in the hospital for a week and a half and the time leading up to and right after (like two/three months before and after), I was pretty much couch ridden as doing anything, even sitting up and reading or writing, exhausted me. Part of my buffer is just in case that happens again (desperately trying to make sure it doesn't but when my medicine fails and my health goes south, it does REALLY fast). I also don't work on it consistantly because some days I'm too busy. I want to have a set schedule and so I only started posting when I had Act 1 finished (giving me at the get go an 9 chapter buffer).

However, since I am nearing the end of Fleeting, I have been thinking of updating at least twice a week, but that all depends how quickly I can start on the intermission short stories (which happen between the end of Star Stealing Prince and the beginning of Permanence).
Im curious if you already have all of this written out and are just teasing us with one-a-week episodes or you are creating the story week-by-week?

Chapter 6 & 7 are where things get rolling. The beginning up until then is to help acquaint you to the new world (as Star Stealing Prince didn't help with that because it was a closed loop scenario) as well as introduce you to characters that affect this plot and even so the good ending plot which comes later. After that, the plot gets going a bit faster (just in time for Act 2~).
Well I hope the everything works out in the end. Im not a fan of web-novels (or novels at all really), but im giving this one a chance because I like Star Stealing Prince. Youve made a strong enough impression if you managed to get me to read for enjoyment =P. I tip my dark emperor hat to you madam. I hope it lives up to the original story or maybe even surpasses it. Im not sure you would be able to make a more impressive story though because you kinda set that bar high with SSP. Who knows? Its only chapter 4 and nothing major is happening yet (at least in front of the curtains).

I know! I wrote a fantasy novel last year and had made a map for it. Sure, it wasn't the prettiest thing around, but it got the point across how everything was laid out. :P So yes, that is going on my to-do list right now!
I suck at drawing also so I cant complain. You dont need to be a professional cartographer to make a good map however. Sure it does help to have an artistic touch for one but maps are more for insight and knowledge rather than beauty and inspiration.

Hahahahaha. I can try. XD I'm not very good at maps but I'll set aside some time to put it together. I've been meaning to honestly especially as I work on the sequel.
Do you think that it is possible you could draw up a map of the SSP world? Id like to see the geography and understand a little better about their original island and the rest of the world.

It does so far, Kormanire! When the bad ending sequel finishes, I will begin work on the good ending sequel. :) And don't worry! I won't be having multiple endings for these two sequels. XD I'm not up for that much punishment.

Thanks for your interest guys!
Its too bad that the sequel takes place with the bad guy winning. I can imagine things are going to get pretty horrific once snowe remembers everything and people find out what happened. I hope this one doesnt get alternative ending as well. A second bad ending would be too much for me to handle.
