A chain game, sent from person to person, each putting in their part of the epic story in their own style.

When two mercenaries accepted an escort job--thought to be a swift and easy-- they found themselves involved into a global conspiracy that would shake the very core of the earth.

Features
*New twist on the battle system: Each character is divided into 3 categories. Striker, Balance or Passive. Striker types regain MP in battle by attacking only. They'll gain 20 MP this way, and are usually more for saving up for a big attack.
Balance types regain 10 MP regardless of what command is used. Their skills tend to cost less but are not usually focused on having a big final attack to use.
Passive types regain 30 MP when you defend. They also start with the most MP in a battle and are Mage-types.

*Encounter Gauge which fills up as you fight encounters (which are seen on the map). Once filled, you can open up a special chest in the area.

*Party changing system

Fixed bugs and improvements

The game has been out for 3 weeks now and I think the responses for the game have been very positive, which I am happy for! We went ahead and fixed up some of the issues that we found players complaining about, either design wise or due to bugs. So if you get any lag in Capital city or Crossroads in your version, you may want to upgrade to this one.

There are other bug fixes as well and some changes in dialogue, though it doesn't change the entire plot around so it is not a mandatory upgrade.

Anyway, I am glad to have worked on this along with the team, and we thank you all for playing it!

Yeah I just watched all of your LP videos. These are pretty damn entertaining and I'd love to see the rest. Good to see you're enjoying it and are not having too much difficulty, I was afraid my balance testing was too far on the hard side this time. Heh.

The regular enemy battles will get hard over time, but since you essentially have infinite MP, using your skills liberally in regular battles will make them much easier. On level 4+ ability, elemental skills start getting upgraded to tier 2 and doing more damage (you'll see with the changed name) but still cost the same to use. They will usually eclipse regular attacks in damage unless you're packing Demon Salesman weaponry, and since you get more than one element after level 3 ability, you don't have to worry too much about picking the wrong element against an enemy. Otherwise it's good to see you're enjoying that battle system. I look forward to the rest of your LPs.
Dont want to ruin any thing so....
When you get the sisters on your team, the game gets hilarious.

They're the best thing ever.
Haha yeah, never ending entertainment. I just got through part of the desert. Proceding right along, and the games still good. :)
It's interesting to talk to NPC's and everything looks slick (cept parts of the world map)

Where'd those battle animations come from? *drool*

I think I saw a typo, after the first battle Rine...Rice....Rise? I forget hah Um, I thought I saw a "t" at the end of her name. I was button mashing so I missed it.

I only just beat those twins so I can't say much about fighting/difficulty yet. Some cool concepts going on. This is one game I'll wish I could have finished(I'm already guessing that I never will :P cause I never do)

Yeah maybe we missed a spelling error, I can look back and see where it is! We have some other bugs that came up so we'll get to that too, good thing most of them are minor (the only major one is something that can very rarely happen... save before you talk to Hibiki/Black Ninja in the capital city). This will be fixed soon!

And the battle animations are... I don't know, you'll have to ask Skie and Jihaus about that.
Honestly I'm not 100% on where most of these battle animations came from, as most of it were from other people or sources (skie probably knows where). I know some of them at least came from King of Fighters games since I recognize the graphics. Heh.
The battles were instantly more enjoyable because of those fluid animations.

My mind is full of fuck.

Yeah, the first boss battle, was hard. I gave it my all.
Oh, if you're asking about the actual character animations, those are all sprites from Bahamut Lagoon, which is where practically all of our in-battle character and monster sprites come from. They do have some pretty fluid animation in that game, and that carried over quite well here.

I wonder if we didn't make it too difficult... well hopefully someone will beat it and let us know.
I think by the time i made it to the bounty hunter i had that 9k weapon that duel; hit. Also by the desert that 33k axe that hits all with 50% chance of instant death, and i havent had to much trouble with the difficulty yet.

Maybe we'd have to raise the costs of those, being able to afford a 33k axe in the Desert seems pretty early for that. But we'll see, maybe you just grind a lot, i am unsure!
I never consider myself a grinder, but in this game i just fight every bad guy i see. I may have grinded at the desert for a minute or so though. Also i dont believe i bought weapons just so i could afford that.
Whew, just beat it today.

The thing I loved most about this game is the Battle System.
Having an awesome BGM to back up the atmosphere of it made it very enjoyable.
The pacing of each battle was fantastic, battle weren't dragged out to be long, and wasn't made soo easy that players just breezed through.

I actually applied myself to defeating some of the bosses, and taking note of the ups and downs of this game's DBS. I just LOVED IT.

Although there were somethings I had to edit in order to get completely finish the game: Battle Animation Touch ups, some bug fixes on events, and other misc things.

Overall, this project was one of the enjoyable RPG Maker games I've played in a while. The Party Split Section was probably the most challenging part of the game, balancing powers between characters. Threw me off as I did not expect this.

For any Rpg Makers out there, this is a must play!
Download it and play it now!!
You honor us, ranmaster. On behalf of the entire team, I thank you for your kind words.

Glad you enjoyed the game! And it seems like you really dug deep into the battle system and got a hang for it. That's good to see! Glad we did one thing right at least, haha!
I sorta screwed myself. Im at the part where your team needs to seperate and hit all those switchs to open doors. Unfortunately i sold unused equipment for characters i didnt use. Know bad guys re appear for me to fight. Also i sold most energy cores so i havent been able to activate both teams computer terminals. OOPPS!
My main problem is the buttons. My one team is locked out of the right door, and my left team cant go back past spikes to unlock the door.

Oh, you don't need to have previous energy cores, the ones for the university are unique and unsellable to prevent that.

I'm pretty sure if you could get one comp on, you could get both of them on. I wonder if you can send us your saved game? I could look into it. if anything though, there are still some shops around inside the area and you could also go switching equipment from one group to another too.
Yeah the switchs is my biggest problem.
