I stumbled upon Prelude by accident (maybe it was fate. haha) But once I started playing, I couldn't stop.

DISCLAIMER
I play games just for fun, and can be considered quite new to them. So my review may not be as thorough (with all the technical/jargon, etc)- I just review based on my experience. :)

OVERVIEW
If you're looking for full-on RPG, action game, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a game that is eye-opening, has mind-exercising puzzles, great explorations, witty dialogues, and is a non-action game, this is perfect.

GAMEPLAY
I personally find the puzzles quite challenging. It calls for observation and deduction skills. You have to think out of the box and see the bigger picture.

There were also a LOT of objects that you could interact with (something I've always been fond of when playing these games). So that was good.

And as the characters appear more than once, I couldn't help but feel a sort of attachment to them. It's like one big family.

But the best part about this game (for me personally) is the philosophical "quotes" (?) that you get from interacting with some objects. It gives a different, other-worldly experience throughout the game..almost like reading a philosophical book of some sort.

However, it did bother me quite a bit when I see some other areas in the area I'm playing, at yet I could not go there. It could just be me not finishing all the quests properly. But if it was meant to be that way...-why??? Hahah

AUDIO/VISUAL
The audio & visual are adequate. Good enough for me.

OVERALL
It's not just a game, it's an experience.
