In this (first ever?) VX Ace game, made with the original Japanese Trial, comes the story of 4 brave warriors to save THE PRINCESS from the hands of the EVIL OVERLORD! Will you be able to find the princess in time, or will she fall into the hands of the EVIL OVERLORD!?

Warning! This game contains:
- Cartoon Violence
- Sexual Themes
- Racism
- Sexism
- ...Well, you know.

In this game, we strongly suggest that you take time to talk to NPCs, explore the landscape, constantly check your inventory, and read the status of each and every character~ The game aims to be a simplistic but fun experience. Nevertheless, you can't just mash the attack button to win every battle.

Because this game was made with the Japanese Trial Version, there are limitations:
- The trial disallows compressing game data.
- There is also a cap on the number of database entries for items, equipment, animations, etc.
- Scripts cannot be edited.
However, the Scripts.rvdata2 was replaced with the default English Scripts.rvdata2 to avoid Japanese characters and bugs.

This is the First Act of the Princess Trilogy, which together comprise Episode 6 of the Division Heaven series. The Second Act, Porcupine Princess, is in production. We are also planning to make a sequel called Pixel Princess. These games share the same lore with the overall Divison Heaven series, but the games don't need to be played in order.

Maybe.

A frontview battle system works just fine.
Anything else is preference, and I don't think it's anyone but the developer's place to say what works better for their game. (also your post was slightly cheeky, but maybe I'm being overprotective)

if that is what it sounded like i apologize
Having battle chars defs looks awesome, but I don't think a lot of folks realize just how much work goes into making them, and making them look good. Even editing an RTP sprite to make a battler takes a ridic amount of time, and then you gotta chuck in the whole finding monster sprites that work for sideview, making icons to work for weapons (if that's the route being taken), setting up casting animations, and on top of all that, making sure nothing breaks graphically when all of that's going on, and I'm sure I've barely touched on why it is a backbreaking amount of work.

Basically, front view is a great choice for those who don't want to deal with all of that, or are working up against a deadline... which Archeia is!
Good morning. Kaetanea, I understand what you meant exactly since I used to be a sideview addict. But in PP's case, a Front View Battle system works just fine only because it fits the game's narrative and story. :)

its boring just c texts instead of battle char?

We're trying to change this mindset :)

Please don't worry, the front view battle system isn't as bad as it looks. I actually, for the first time in my entire life, prefer front view for a game I'm (we're) making.

I died on the first battle. Deleted the game. Thanks for nothing.

It's a rpg, it contains levelling it up, maybe you went though the game quickly, knowing you'll die every once in awhile fighting a boss.
Just played this game for the first time last night and beat it. Man was that last battle tough. But I wanted to say how much I ENJOYED the fact that the game was so simple! I know people like sprawling epics but it was nice to be able to...do like a casual RPG. One where you don't have to deal with what's-her-faces-dead-evil-mother come back from the grave to steal grapes (or something).

It reminded me of old school anime (the good stuff) like Slayers or a streamlined Lodoss War. I think you did an excellent job with what you had. *thumbs up*
^ Oddly enough, it reminded me of Slayers too.
so when's the last time the download was updated?

You need the RPG Maker VXAce RTP. It can be downloaded over here: http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/run-time-package
Thanks for trying to help me - first of all please excuse my terrible English...
At the meantime I don't understand anything - I've downloaded first the demos - and now twice the full game. Fist I've got an error - as mentioned above. Second - It works - but the game suddenly stopped. I couldn't escape from the dungeon. Maybe it has to be so...
It's a completely changed game to the demos - or am I wrong ?

Whatever - the short time I've played has been great - maybe my English is not good enough to understand everything and I did something wrong.

Thanks for half an hour of fun..

@Wildwind, by escape from the dungeon, did you see the boss or the blonde woman and the credits? Because that's where it ends :)

And thank you very much for playing. It is different. You can try speaking your native language though, I might be able to understand it.
