Disco Fever

This weekend I worked on the interior of some overworld buildings, especially the disco.



Here you can select the used musicfiles and listen to them. There will also be some quest available in this room.

Third Stage Crystal Factory completed

Today I finally completed the 3rd stage of the game, the "Crystal Factory".



This is the first level with non organic enemies like mining droids, robots, laser turrets and of course a lot of tech stuff.
As you can see the mining droid in the middle has a shield and is kind of tough, but it has a 100% dropchance plus it gives more points.
I think I designed the stage a bit too hard at the moment to be level 3 in the game, so it needs some finetuning, but the main work is done.
I will now continue with the overworld and do some quest scripting.

Second Stage Work in Progress

I finished the models and started the design of the second stage "Caladion Riff". I'm still messing with the colors of the different parts, but so far I am content with the result.

First Overworld Layout

I finished the basic layout for the main area of the overworld.

In the center you can see the main teleporter, that will give access to the 4 game areas reducing walking time.
In the background is a Zodiac Tower, which plays a main rule in the storyline.

Yesterday I finished the models for creating the overworld of the game.
That's cool, because now I can start designing it in the editor, what is most fun of all.



The overworld will be an underwater city of a race called the nebula living on a distant planet almost entirely covered with water. In the picture you can see the pyramid shaped buildings of the nebula, some walls, pillars, crates, etc. Just finished texturing them.

The next step will be to create a central area with these parts for the player to walk around, accept quests, upgrade his weapons and of course I still need to design the portals giving access to the different stages.
