There exists a most curious and powerful race in the world of Ospes, able to manipulate and alter matter itself.

Their numbers are few, and from the beginning they have lived as outcasts, perceived as a threat to the world and every living thing in it.

They are called Theolar.

Thymetians, the most dominant race on Ospes, have done all that they can to suppress the Theolar. For they, more than any, are afraid of them.

Most Theolar are content to live in hiding and have abandoned the use of their abilities in hopes they would be forgotten. But among them there is a small group, known as the
Andurim, who are unwilling to give up that part of themselves.

Their sole purpose is to provide the Thymetians and the rest of the world with a glimpse of their greatness, now long overshadowed by what else they are capable of…

What users from rpgmaker.net have said...

"I've finished the game, and I have to say that I really enjoyed myself. I don't always keep the games, but this one is a must.
Thanks for all your hard work." - littlebro

"All in all, you have certainly set a standard for vx games. I can't think of one that actually gripped me, and especially like this one did...
At any rate, I'm just saying I loved the game. I can tell it had a huge amount of work placed into it." - demonlord5000

What users from rpgmakervx.net have said...

"Whoa. This game is amazing. I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a game, commercial or otherwise, this much. You've managed to create a world that pulls the player in,
makes him identify with teh characters and feel for them. A world that feels alive with lore and history. Every time I found one of the Nayrin relics...
I really felt I was discovering bits and pieces of an ancient civilization, scattered all over the world." - Jeffrey

If anyone wants to play arguably one of the best all around put-together RPGs available to RPG Maker VX, this is hereby on your must-do list.
- goldenguy

"I will say that I liked the message and it was a brilliant adventure while it lasted. The plot was tight, the characters convincing and the puzzles
were the best I've seen aside from Alundra. If you ever manifest another spectacular game, I'll be looking forward to it." - tom11

"Firstly you have a great imagination and a flair for writing, your game really drew me in and was a real "key-presser" right up until the final
scenes. Your game was also very well balanced in terms of available money, EXP, etc. The inclusion of your excellent (occasionally challenging)
puzzles and mini-games help to distract the player along the way. Also quite importantly the game runs practically bug free..." - matt-tribal

"Bloody fantastic RPG. Minigames, optional quests, math puzzles. Love it all." - vitrous

"...there's so much that can be done, and the story and adventure just keep taking new turns and twists...It's been a long time since I've played a
game that I have a hard time "setting down" after 2-3 hours, but this is doing that." - goldenguy

"...a brilliant game, you have clearly put a lot of thought into creating the world of Ospes and especially into its characters. I definitely
appreciate the humorous dialogue too." - matt-tribal

Canvas is Complete!

Five years and two children later, I have finished my second game. The download has been updated. The game should last around 15 hours or so depending on a few factors including puzzles and sidequests. I have included a full walkthrough and complete item guide with the download. If you need more detailed help than the walkthrough gives, please don't hesitate to ask. I love every kind of feedback, especially bug reports if you find any. Thank you very much to those who take the time to download Canvas and give it a shot.

I noticed that on the front page of the games section, this shows as 548 downloads, but here on its own page it's 485. Something's gone wrong somewhere.

The game has 2 different ways to download...a direct download hosted on this site (main download which was at 485) and a link that leads to a file hosting site (accounting for the difference). The two combine to make the 548 that you saw.
I am quite in the beginning... just left for the mainland.

This game is simply a NEW STANDARD FOR VX GAMES!!!! I know it's not so well-argumented, but that's the simple truth: story, dialogues, visual, battles... everything is just PERFECT so far. Probably the only complaint is about the slowliness of the game, but I'm sure it's a computer issue (I've a standard NetBook with 1GB Ram and the game is really slow.)

Thanks by now for "dreaming on"!!! I will write again after some progress
hello, I'm having some trouble and I'm hoping someone can help me since I dunno if its a bug or I'm missing something.

I just got to the part where you get thrown off the ship up on the island and you have to help free the enslaved men from the Thymetians mine. After I meet the lone women in the village and rest I went up to check out the castle but nothing happened and I just walked on it, so I assumed I wasn't supposed to go there yet and went to the nayrin ruins. After completing the ruins I headed back to the village but the bridge now loads when I walk on it and there is a Thymetian guard saying I cannot pass. Basically I am cut off from the village and the mines but have access to the ruins and the castle(though nothing loads when I walk into it). Am I missing something that needs to be done?
@clary
Don't know if there's anything you can do now except reload from an earlier save. The enslaved men are in Mt. Phoenix, south a little and east of Doolig village and as far as I know, you can't progress the story until you've released them.
Ehm... In the same location. In the Mt. Phoenix I can't solve the puzzle where it's written "Put back the boulders where we can see them.." or something like. I already cleared the boss, but I'm not hanging out until I'm done with it!!!!!
@Superes
If you're where I think you are, try this.
2 of the boulders you need are hidden behind the rock formations: one to the left, and the other in the middle.
Little bro... I thought there were two buttons So I punt 2 rocks there LoL...

THANKS..

@littlebro - Thanks for helping out with those questions.

@clary - I still can't figure out how you got up there in the first place. It seems impossible to me, unless something went wrong during your download or unzip phase.

@Peaceful_Chaos - Excellent! Hope you enjoy, and I look forward to hearing some of your impressions.
I keep having a problem with downloading it.
It pops up with needing to be opened with a program.
This one internet page also popped up with saying it was a .RAR
So basically I cant get it to work...
T.T
Please help

The download is a .rar file. You'll need to download "winrar" to unzip the folder and play the game. It's a small free (trial that is) download, much like winzip (it works for .zip files too). It's a handy program to have for more than just rpg maker games though. There's 2 different versions, one for a 32-bit windows operating system, and one for a 64-bit operating system. If you don't know which one you have, just download either and try it...it will let you know that it won't work if you guess wrong, and then you can get the other one. It may sound like a hassle, but it won't take long at all, just google it...and I like to think you'll find it totally worth it when you're hopelessly and blissfully immersed in the world of Manifest =).
I have been playing this for the past week or so and this game is amazing. I hope it gets more attention on RMN. You have struck the hard to find balance between dungeons and puzzles. I love the lockpicking mini game! Haven't hit the blacksmithing yet but I'm sure it's going to be just as fun.

I think there is a bug with the Jeweled Ring. My characters are not gaining the 3 AP per turn. Help! :D
BUG: In the tunnel to the mainland if you "regroup" from the dark area where you have just a round light spot even in "bright" areas of the tunnel you have just round light spot. I hope It will fix by itself when I'll exit the tunnel... otherwise It's game breaking!!!!
Superes - that happened to me, I just reset the game, started from the last save and did not use Regroup from the darkened area.
Also, does anyone know if Trux is supposed to have more than 4 abilities at level 32? I have not used him since I got Val, recently switched him into the party and realized he has not seemed to gain any new abilities since then.

@lucidrose - Thanks for the feedback and compliments. I love that you're enjoying the lock picking. As far as the ring goes, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working for you...never heard of that happening before. Look for a blue pop number right after the character takes an action. If the character goes out to attack, the pop number will appear in the spot where the character was/left from. That is by design that Trux only has those abilities. If you haven't used him in a while, try him out and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Just make sure you have his gear updated to match the others.

@Superes - I could have sworn I fixed that problem, as someone had mentioned it a while back. But sure enough, I checked and I must not have saved the change. I've now officially fixed it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. You can either reload as lucidrose mentioned, or it will fix itself as soon as you get back to the dark room and then exit it on either side. Thanks for playing, and I look forward to hearing back from you again.

It's exciting to hear that both of you have gotten so far.
Yes, the problem solved itself when I got to the other side. Now I'm on the mountain pass (I'm at level 30 and I feel not overtrained, but breezing through the enemies). This side of the game is the one which had the greater number of freezes. My computer never had problems with VX games but this seem to be the heaviest... anyway: I will bear it, because I'm defintely loving the game although I have to wait 3 seconds for a step in certain areas :D

The computer requirements shouldn't be too heavy, it sounds like an individual computer issue. I'm assuming this based on the performance on every other computer I've seen it run on, and most machines were pretty average...but it ran fine. Are you running it full screen? Is there an antivirus program running in the background? Anything else that might be tying up the processor?
