There exists a most curious and powerful race in the world of Ospes, able to manipulate and alter matter itself.

Their numbers are few, and from the beginning they have lived as outcasts, perceived as a threat to the world and every living thing in it.

They are called Theolar.

Thymetians, the most dominant race on Ospes, have done all that they can to suppress the Theolar. For they, more than any, are afraid of them.

Most Theolar are content to live in hiding and have abandoned the use of their abilities in hopes they would be forgotten. But among them there is a small group, known as the
Andurim, who are unwilling to give up that part of themselves.

Their sole purpose is to provide the Thymetians and the rest of the world with a glimpse of their greatness, now long overshadowed by what else they are capable of…

"I've finished the game, and I have to say that I really enjoyed myself. I don't always keep the games, but this one is a must.
Thanks for all your hard work." - littlebro

"All in all, you have certainly set a standard for vx games. I can't think of one that actually gripped me, and especially like this one did...
At any rate, I'm just saying I loved the game. I can tell it had a huge amount of work placed into it." - demonlord5000

What users from rpgmakervx.net have said...

"Whoa. This game is amazing. I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a game, commercial or otherwise, this much. You've managed to create a world that pulls the player in,
makes him identify with teh characters and feel for them. A world that feels alive with lore and history. Every time I found one of the Nayrin relics...
I really felt I was discovering bits and pieces of an ancient civilization, scattered all over the world." - Jeffrey

If anyone wants to play arguably one of the best all around put-together RPGs available to RPG Maker VX, this is hereby on your must-do list.
- goldenguy

"I will say that I liked the message and it was a brilliant adventure while it lasted. The plot was tight, the characters convincing and the puzzles
were the best I've seen aside from Alundra. If you ever manifest another spectacular game, I'll be looking forward to it." - tom11

"Firstly you have a great imagination and a flair for writing, your game really drew me in and was a real "key-presser" right up until the final
scenes. Your game was also very well balanced in terms of available money, EXP, etc. The inclusion of your excellent (occasionally challenging)
puzzles and mini-games help to distract the player along the way. Also quite importantly the game runs practically bug free..." - matt-tribal

"Bloody fantastic RPG. Minigames, optional quests, math puzzles. Love it all." - vitrous

"...there's so much that can be done, and the story and adventure just keep taking new turns and twists...It's been a long time since I've played a
game that I have a hard time "setting down" after 2-3 hours, but this is doing that." - goldenguy

"...a brilliant game, you have clearly put a lot of thought into creating the world of Ospes and especially into its characters. I definitely
appreciate the humorous dialogue too." - matt-tribal

Canvas is Complete!

Five years and two children later, I have finished my second game. The download has been updated. The game should last around 15 hours or so depending on a few factors including puzzles and sidequests. I have included a full walkthrough and complete item guide with the download. If you need more detailed help than the walkthrough gives, please don't hesitate to ask. I love every kind of feedback, especially bug reports if you find any. Thank you very much to those who take the time to download Canvas and give it a shot.

Hi lucidrose,
Good to hear from you. I'll put the answers to your questions below...

You won't be able to access it until you go to Azriad and get further in the story. It'll be clear when you can go.

You can't get in that door, sorry about that. I tried to put enough rubble to make it clear, but the door icon would lead you to believe you can open it.

The penguin was just for kicks.

Good luck and hope to hear back from you again.
Thank you. The last one threw me because there was a similar one in one of the other Ruins.

This game is so fun. I get bummed when I can open a chest and don't have to lockpick. I have only broken one lockpick so far and it was a stupid error. Have figured out a pretty good system.
I found a few glitches.
On the giant centipede bosses.. the spell "Energy" effects them, as does Vellamik's "Ransack". Also on the final boss (exitium cannon) Val's "Rend" effects the boss who is supposed to be invulnerable.

Thanks for letting me know, they're all fixed up now.

@luicdrose - I was really happy with how the lockpicking turned out. Glad you're enjoying it.
First off, I am loving the game! I'm 13 hours in and I've enjoyed making my way through the world and doing all the side-quests.

However, I have no idea where to go at the moment.
I just found the hidden sanctuary...I went to the forest to the east but there doesn't seem to be a way out of it. I tried going back through the hole in the blockade but everyone I talk to keep saying that they need to go north....
I found a glitch in the sewers at the end of the game.
Part of the wall has no pathing. You can get onto the wall.

Hi Lene,
Thanks for playing Manifest, and for the feedback. I'll try and help you in the spoiler below.

The forest is the correct place to be to advance the main story. You should be heading north in general to make your way through it. You'll come to a big open area with lots of logs and lilypads to jump on, after passing several smaller areas with logs and lilypads. There is an exit at the top of that large area, and you'll only have one more screen after that I think. If you get tired of fighting battles since you have to go back through the forest, remember that you can use Vellamik's "Avoid Trouble" ability.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

@BattleMaster1 - thanks for posting the image. That was fixed a while back, and the change is reflected in the current version. I think you might be playing the version just before the current one.
Here again!

I'm slowly advancing in the game (I work a lot lately) and I have 2 questions:
1) The hidden ruins in Onyx Mountain... I lost a lot of time searching inside the pass... and now I wonder if that will be accessible only later on.

2) The last room in Ice Tower is TRICKY (Or maybe It's difficult to my intelligence!!). Festival's minigames are AWESOME (got the award in every one of them... ). Still stuck in that room...

I hope this game will last a lot more because I'm loving it deeply!!!

You won't be able to get to the tower until later. And for the ice tower, is it a room with 3 or 4 switches?

Thanks... In the meanwhile I'll level up in the island (level 58 now)

It's the room with 3 switches and 5 balls, I can't figure it out...

Superes - I'll put the answer to your puzzle question in a spoiler.

There are two snowballs in the same vertical column. Push the lower one up, then left, then down, then right. Before you push it right you'll have to move some of the others, but I'll leave that to you.

Good luck.
So, I recently downloaded this game (and by recent, I mean about a month ago), and I have to say, it's been a real blast playing it. The combat system is amazing and the story is well crafted (although encounters on the World Map could be just a bit more frequent). However, I just now realized that I am genuinely stuck.

So, here is my conundrum:

I have gotten through the mountains and have arrived at Noor. There is an NPC at Noor that tells you there is a way to get to Dargon again, with his men creating the tunnel by the blockade. Where exactly is this blockade at? I have been searching for about an hour now and have had no luck in finding it.

Thanks for playing Manifest, DanteSparda. I appreciate the feedback. I'll put the answer in a spoiler below.

If you want to get back to Dagron, you can head south from Noor. Along the mountains you'll see a small gate/tower. That's the blockade. Once you enter, there is a bush covering the tunnel entrance on the left side of the screen. Going in the blockade tunnel is optional, but you won't have access to it until you advance the story a tiny bit. There is a pile of rocks in the bottom right corner of Noor. If you move them around you'll see where to go, and then you'll be able to head back down past the blockade or move on with the story.

Good luck. Hope to hear back from you again.
It's me again.

Well, I think I am getting close to the end of the game, since I am now on my way to getting the Zeppelin. All in all, it's been a fantastic game with its ups and downs (The thing with Novriak was kind of "uhh, okay" and I occasionally get that "Stack Climb is invalid" Error Message). However...

When Syndarion says that you have to ride the current to get the Zeppelin, where exactly is that? I have been trying for the past hour now. Do I have to go inside the Onyx Mountains, or is there some other place that I have to go to first?

The "stack climb is invalid" error message will only occur if you use the f12 reset key. This is due to one of the scripts used in the game. You won't get the error if you never use the f12 key. I'll put the rest of the response in a spoiler.

Not sure what you meant by the Novriath thing being "uhh, okay," but I appreciate the feedback/compliments. If you travel in the boat to the west of Faergrad, pass under the bridge that leads up the capital city, and keep heading west, you'll come to a delta on the far left side of the mainland. If you dock there you'll find a cave. It should show up on your map, if you open it while in the section with Faergrad and the Onyx Mountains. Look near the far left side of it.

Hope this helps. Thanks again for playing.
Once again, thank you for the quick response.

After the Val vs. Novriath fight in the Taebris forest, when Efflora appears, he magically seems to turn out better because he remembered who he was and what had happened. To me, it just kind of felt out of place.
Probably Age is making me dumber, usually I don't have to ask for help so often, but I'm quite in a fix

In the sealed cavern I'm in the 12 switches room, the sign in the room tells "Every puzzle has a solution, including this one". If It's an hint... I don't get it!!

Can't wait to search secret places I'm sure you scattered all around the world before getting to Azriad!!! (Level 70 now...)
@ Superes
I might be thinking of the wrong room, but I think the actual quote is "even this one" meaning all the even switches need to be flipped....

I tried, but didn't work!!!
Try flipping all but the 1st switch .... maybe thats the room :)
