Infinity 2 is the sequel to Infinity. New features, new characters, along with mostly everything brought over from the first game.

Since Infinity is not a storyline based game, Infinity 2 is an improvement to the overall game. Infinity was more of an introduction to a style of gaming. A new kind of free roaming, character collecting craziness. Infinity 2 builds on that format. The new game features some small storylines, along with an improved RPG factor. Instead of recieving a large amount of money at the start, you are given no money. You will have choices throughout the game, deciding how to make money. You can go on the light path, or the dark path.. or both, or no path. It's up to you.

New additions include assassination contracts, monster battles, hero missions, seasons, maps to explore, and more.

Infinity 2 features original music from musician Halindir (Vaniardur). His music is simply stunning, and fits perfectly into the dark, yet light tones of Infinity 2. His music is a welcome change from the default RTP music of the first Infinity.

Infinity 2 was released on March 9th, 2012.

Expansion Pack Cancelled

Due to the development of the next generation open-world RPG I have been working on, any expansions for Infinity 2 have been cancelled. This includes Tales of the Rings. The new game, currently titled Infinity 3, is a completely new game, being developed on a much more up-to-date engine. RPG Maker VX Ace.

Any future expansion packs would be released for this new game, rather than the older Infinity 2. I hope you do enjoy playing Infinity 1 & 2, while following development of the next game in the series. It should be one fantastic game.

Thanks,
Nick

I think I finished most/all of the game :o I killed a few people, defeated a lot of monsters and shtuff. I did all the quests too (I think) since no one else needs any help in town or the city. I can't save the kid getting mugged or do anything at the beach/church soo... :P.

Is there anything else to do in the game? :D Like dating properly and shtuff (though I always choose the male characters cuz they look waay cooler than the women :P. Tho I still wanna date the guys like Infinity one~)?
I am not very fond of the whole trading characters when you talk to some of the people. I chose the character I chose because they looked pretty cool but I don't like trading it. I am also not very fond of the city... it kinda scares me because it looks to modern than the town is. I like the difficulty of the quests though but I don't see how you can marry people on this game. I played it but the clouds bothered me a little but I enjoyed the open-worldness of the game. :/
where are the cats and dogs? ibve been searching for them for ages
I'm dedicating my time to the new game. Also I've noticed some serious bugs in terms of trying to load old saves in the new expansion.
Why cancel it if "most of it is finished"?

Is the expansion pack coming out soon Nick?

It's been put on hiatus right now, but most of it is finished. I might release it in the coming months.

Expansion packs, eh? I like that idea! Reminds me of DLC.

Might as well try this out, then!
On both fronts, possibly. In terms of the battle sprites, making battle sprites for characters like Santa could be difficult. So likely I'd make a selector where you could choose a suit of armor instead.
Is there a way for you to alter our in battle sprite to match the character design we choose in the beginning or is that too much work? Are optional party members going to be featured in updated installments?
