The Realms Shattered

Okay, so it's about time I did a bit of an update.

Firstly, RealmS lost a bit of progress thanks to an unfixable map tree error. Luckily I had a recent copy hosted online and it was a simple case of download and check to see how much was wasted, which wasn't too much.

I lost Selva and the next area of the game, but I've since remapped Selva to look better than before.

I've been working a bit on skills and skill progression. Each character learns a bit differently than the others.

Narissa has two skill types: Quarrel and Other (still need a name for it -_-).
Quarrel skills change depending on what arrows Narissa has equipped at the time and are all elemental attacks.
'Other' has skills that she can learn via practice in an archery range. These are more status effecting skills. Mostly they affect herself only, but they come in pretty handy during a fight. ^.^

Jidor learns skills from what weapons he has equipped. Each weapon has a default skill that he will have automatic access to, as well as three other skills that he can learn by spending points on each level up. When every skill has been mastered he can then choose one to carry over after he changes weapons. He can change these skills at certain areas in the game.

Clarissa - well, she's currently a WIP. ^.^

Mirad learns spells by reading mage books and talking to other mages, but they only last a certain amount of uses, so carrying a few spare books around is a good idea. He can learn elemental and healing magics. He can also learn some physical skills, but I'm still brainstorming.

I intend to pick up the pace with the storyline very soon, maybe get RealmS to decent demo length some time soon. Hopefully.
