The new equipment-stealing system involves getting leads on equipment from Tantalus, the thieves from FF9, by doing missions for them. You need a lead on a piece of equipment to unlock the ability to steal it. The missions/rewards change every few days.
Renting a chocobo from Jidoor to Zozo. Upon arriving, a mission automatically starts.
Walking through the city of Zozo. Enemies do not attack you on sight, allowing you to freely explore the world.
This is a partial list of jobs available. More jobs become available as you gain experience levels, gain levels in your other jobs, and complete quests. Below that, I display a list of abilities my character has access to in a specific job: Thief.
The Sword Of Mana is the first mission most players will encounter in the game. At any time you can see a log of what missions you are on and what your next objective is in each one of them.
The score command shows your character's stats. Below that, I list the abilities I have access to in the Blue Mage job, along with the AP costs to learn or increase the level of each one.
An example of a character's inventory, and detailed info about one of the weapons.
As soon as you make your character, you can freely explore the worlds of FF5, FF6, FF7, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana. Airships and other forms of transportation make it easy to get to many places.
Combat against a Midgar Zolom on the Kalm Overland. This character has created aliases for some of his abilities, so he can type "ac" instead of "use tool autocrossbow" and "cs" instead of "use tool chainsaw".
It's the end of time! You should probably recognize this place, right? We try hard to make every area as accurate as possible to the source material.
