"Celes, a woman raised from childhood as the prophesied Savior, embarks on a mission to fulfill her destiny and protect the world. But she soon finds herself at odds with a man with a mysterious investment in her mission, and learns that there may be more to her role than she bargained for..."

Eons ago, the world and all of its splendours were created by the magnificent and all-powerful being simply known as the "Creator." It wove the threads of life, and upon creating the planet of Tsufanubra, spotted it with its most cherished life-form: man.

Having gifted mankind with all of its blessing and necessities, the Creator simply watched as man forged his own path in life, and over the decades crafted himself in to a race of truly wondrous individuals numbering in the millions.

The Creator, however, grew tired of this creation, and thus gave life to three heavenly Kings to watch over and monitor the world in his stead. Overseeing their lord's creation from on-high, the Three Kings of Tsufanubra guided their people into an age of peace and prosperity for countless years to follow...

Then that fated day cameā€”the day wherein a great darkness spilled from the opposite world of Arbunafust, and threatened to dominate Tsufanubra and all who lived upon it. The efforts of this otherworldly force, however, were thwarted by the Three Kings. They gifted mankind with four divine relics, then simply waited for man to take back what had been stolen from them.

With the aid of their overseers, man was able to forcibly remove the invading force, and cast it back to whence it came.

Their purpose completed, the relics bore themselves into the earth, forever shedding their light in silence so that mankind could attain eternal peace.

There's an LP?! (And another Update!)

That's right, folks! UPRC (creator of the widely popular Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy series) has stated a "Let's Play" of Chronicles of Tsufanubra. If all of you kind folk would care to give this wonderful individual a Like and Share for his efforts, that'd be greatly appreciated!

And yes, there's been another update. Substantial? Kind of. The MP3 version of the game's now been officially made the default version you're prompted to download after clicking that big button up there in the corner. I found that the old MP3 edition was lacking a little something, so I went in and mixed things up a bit, added a few songs, tweaked a few stats, and cranked out what's now this game's DEFINITIVE EDITION!

So if you haven't downloaded CoT yet, or have been on the fence about doing so, there's never been a better time! Unless something truly game-breaking (randomly) pops up, I'm hoping to never lay my hands on this game again! I think it's time to let this baby rest.

Thanks for the continued support and all of the wonderful downloads and subscriptions you've given this game. I truly appreciate all of you amazing and wonderful people for making this project as great as it is! =D

I might have problem. Every turn in battle celes loses 3 mp. I first noticed it during the mountain tower secton. any help would be greatly apreaciated.
What weapon do you have her equipped with? Some magical items (as in if it deals elemental damage) use up some MP when you attack with them.
Found a MAJOR bug. After i left the ship I decided I would try and find the hidden bosses you mention, but I went in the cave just above celes home town, and it went through the ghost scene AGAIN with Sando looking for his mum,but after it finished it then automatically went to Celes house and continued the story,so I miss out on the bosses, but now I am stuck. I am in the castle with all the magic forcefields(doors with Stars),I have cleared every room I can enter but have not found where key C goes, and everywhere else says sealed with magic,so not sure where to go,help appreciated please. Also why has the walking speed really slowed down in this section? Thanks
How'd I manage to miss something like that?! Dang. I'll have to upload an emergency patch/new version so that potential future players also don't stumble upon a similar situation! That's the one area I never expected anyone to return to, so I guess I overlooked the possibility of the events not disappearing properly or at all.

As for the second half of your comment:
I'm guessing this is in the final dungeon? Also, is the walking speed that much slower? Perhaps something got screwed up due to how I made your new save file? Have you collected any of the "Orb of Guidance" items? If not, that's where you have to start in order to make progress!

No I have not got any of those,I dont think, but where do I go because everywhere is blocked off with energy doors. I have looked everywhere and killed all the monsters, there is a point to the right of the dungeon with a sparkle that I cannot reach as well.
NONE of them?!

Okay, so the first place you need to go is to the second floor of the Main Castle. Which one's the main? Straight ahead of the area's starting Save Point. Go up the right set of stairs and then into the door at the top right of the second floor. There should be a gargoyle in this room with a sparkling base. Examine that, then head into the door just up from the statue. You should be able to piece things together form here ;)

I did that but all that is in that room is a chest, the statue says about a gap in front of him which is pointless cos I can go around to same point but went through and the statue still says only those who have surpassed th reach of mortal man may proceed. Am I missing something here? I still have the otherworld key C left in items but do not know where that goes
Oh, no, you'll have to
KEEP going straight across from the statue to the eastmost part of the room (outside that little room). If you examine THAT wall it'll prompt you to break it down with the pickaxe you found.

That was what I missed thanks, finished the game now,was not over impressed with ending but enjoyed the game
What's up with that rock on the bridge in the mines? I can't get rid of it, and it's blocking me from killing the last monster.

Can't you just walk around to the other side? Show me a screenshot. I might (should) know what's going on.

The bridges in this cave are all 1-tile wide, so that rock's there until a switch or something removes it.

You can walk in from the room with the overlapping bridges to the right.
Ah, that did it. One of those darned hidden'ish doors.
That pathway was actually supposed to be the original shortcut out of the mines (the rock disappears after you beat the boss), but once I decided to include the Quick-Travel Spheres, it was made kind of redundant. Oh well. =P
Well, I finally beat it (sorry I'm slow >.<), and I definitely have to say; this was your best game to date and, given your portfolio, that's saying something.

Here're some spoiler-free thoughts.
-The title screen still says "DRAGON FANTASY REMADE" instead of the official title :p
-The music doesn't repeat properly. It mostly causes irk during cutscenes where the BGM fades out slowly, leaving me to think a different vibe is about to take over, but then it restarts from the beginning and I'm like Wut. One of the boss BGMs did this too. Learn to use Audacity >BD
-I loved the monster diversity. Even though it's just the bestiary from SNES DQ games, you gave them some cool ass names. I was a little bummed to not see more upgrades of Miffed Imp, though. Ticked Imp was a nice palette swap, but Dissatisfied Imp and Hot&Bothered Imp never made appearances. Neither did the DQ-staple Cyclops. I was kind of looking forward to seeing what you did with him -)

-Suggestion for a similar future project (the sequel?) : When doing dialogue, give the characters different font colors for their names. It just speeds up legibility.
Celes
Let's go, gang.
Yoor
Okay.
Sando
I'm already there.

-Also, you should use icons like almost every other 2k/3 RPG out there :p The inventory gets cluttered awfully fast, and some items need the extra player cue. I didn't know the Bicolour Badge was a shield until a dungeon or two later.

Here're some spoiler-heavy thoughts.

The manner in which Celes transitioned into a Goddess was underwhelming. She's supposed to become the primary antagonist of the series, and I suppose being the dedicated guardian of the kjrn is one way of causing heads to butt down the road, but I just expected more. On the other hand, I also totally understand that you didn't want the player to invest all their time and care into the four heroes, only to lose their shit when Celes suddenly turns heel and becomes a bad mofo.

Also by the end of the game, there was a lot missing in the party camaraderie. Lifa said, in the pre-final boss conversation, that Celes was her good friend, but I never really got the impression that the two of them developed anything. She and Sando had lots of cutscenes exploring their relationship, and Yoor is hinted as a potential love interest for Celes, but the entire party altogether was missing antics that brought them together.

Lastly, there were no end credits x) I, personally, like a good credit scroll to conclude a good thing. Even if it's just you a bunch of times and, like, three other dudes.

When you start working on CoT2, let me know >:) I'll be interested in helping you with sprites again, and maybe setting up the BGM to play seamlessly.
I just got off Diaboros - and it warns me I cannot explore if I go into celes home - I cannot fly the ship - so what else is there to do othere than enter the house ?? Thanks

Check the "Hidden Boss Locations" page, Dennis!

And did you download the latest version of the game, Trihan?! Remember I told you that you could kill all the monsters, but the chest would only appear after you made the update? =P
