"Celes, a woman raised from childhood as the prophesied Savior, embarks on a mission to fulfill her destiny and protect the world. But she soon finds herself at odds with a man with a mysterious investment in her mission, and learns that there may be more to her role than she bargained for..."

Eons ago, the world and all of its splendours were created by the magnificent and all-powerful being simply known as the "Creator." It wove the threads of life, and upon creating the planet of Tsufanubra, spotted it with its most cherished life-form: man.

Having gifted mankind with all of its blessing and necessities, the Creator simply watched as man forged his own path in life, and over the decades crafted himself in to a race of truly wondrous individuals numbering in the millions.

The Creator, however, grew tired of this creation, and thus gave life to three heavenly Kings to watch over and monitor the world in his stead. Overseeing their lord's creation from on-high, the Three Kings of Tsufanubra guided their people into an age of peace and prosperity for countless years to follow...

Then that fated day cameā€”the day wherein a great darkness spilled from the opposite world of Arbunafust, and threatened to dominate Tsufanubra and all who lived upon it. The efforts of this otherworldly force, however, were thwarted by the Three Kings. They gifted mankind with four divine relics, then simply waited for man to take back what had been stolen from them.

With the aid of their overseers, man was able to forcibly remove the invading force, and cast it back to whence it came.

Their purpose completed, the relics bore themselves into the earth, forever shedding their light in silence so that mankind could attain eternal peace.

There's an LP?! (And another Update!)

That's right, folks! UPRC (creator of the widely popular Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy series) has stated a "Let's Play" of Chronicles of Tsufanubra. If all of you kind folk would care to give this wonderful individual a Like and Share for his efforts, that'd be greatly appreciated!

And yes, there's been another update. Substantial? Kind of. The MP3 version of the game's now been officially made the default version you're prompted to download after clicking that big button up there in the corner. I found that the old MP3 edition was lacking a little something, so I went in and mixed things up a bit, added a few songs, tweaked a few stats, and cranked out what's now this game's DEFINITIVE EDITION!

So if you haven't downloaded CoT yet, or have been on the fence about doing so, there's never been a better time! Unless something truly game-breaking (randomly) pops up, I'm hoping to never lay my hands on this game again! I think it's time to let this baby rest.

Thanks for the continued support and all of the wonderful downloads and subscriptions you've given this game. I truly appreciate all of you amazing and wonderful people for making this project as great as it is! =D

by castle verdam, is it the one where you get the mission to rescue the princess? if so, yeah, i did and finished the cutscene. the party members leave me already and i don't know where to go next. did i miss something?
Yeah, just head back to Castle Verdam to see the king. Everything will then play out in a fairly linear fashion. =P

back to the first castle
where should i go after beating the second dungeon (after i beat vlad and returning the princess to the king)? i already explored the whole area but i can't seem to find a new area.
Aaaaand now we're back to having the basic (original) MIDI version as the featured download. November kinda went by a little too fast for my liking.
Usually the reward appears at the start of a dungeon once you've cleared that particular area of all its monsters and heard the jingle denoting such. You'll notice a unique looking treasure chest has appeared.

Which area are you in?
Problem/Question
After defeating all of the enemies in certain areas, it is said that there is supposed to be some sort of reward given. I don't see any kind of reward. Was the reward forgotten, or am I overlooking something?
I don't remember you have this specific problem? Or maybe you did... Either way, I'm glad to know it's no fault of mine that this is happening! That way I don't have to wreck my brain attempting to figure out just what impossibly minor detail I somehow overlooked that nobody notified me of?!?!

So even when you exit the game and start it again, the title screen doesn't even have music...? WHAT THE?! I didn't think that was even possible? So battles, victory, the overworld, and even the title screen have no music? In the MIDID version?! How was no one else run into this problem?! Unless it was a freak glitch or something?

Didn't I run into a glitch like that way back during playtesting? I figured you fixed it back then, but I don't think you ever mentioned what turned out to be causing it or how you fixed it.
THANK GOD! I was starting to worry there. Hopefully you don't experience any more problems! *Fingers crosses*
It's back to normal now! It wasn't a game glitch, it was an audio driver problem and just needed to reinstall :)

The best advice I can offer is to go into your Chronicles of Tsufanubra folder and copy/paste the "Save01.isd" file onto your desktop. Then re-download the game and paste your save into the new folder. Maybe that would work?
Yes, I didn't think I would need help so soon either ;n;
Hm, how would I know which version I'm playing? I think it's MIDI ver. though since the files under the music are .mid.
It stopped after I finished off the last Soldiers of the Seal. And no, I wasn't listening to any MIDI music on Windows Media Player that time.

Even the title menu doesn't have background sound anymore, just sounds when you select from it.
and if it was the MIDI version, were you at one point listening to MIDI music on Windows Media Player and paused it, which causes the volume control for MIDI synth to be set to 0 for some dumb reason?
... Okay, I was hoping you wouldn't require any help this soon!

Alrighty. So two questions:
1) What version are you playing? MP3 or MIDI?
and
2)At what point did the music stop playing?

I did encounter another problem after clearing this. I no longer hear background music playing. I hear the other game sounds fine (selecting sounds, battle hit sounds, etc.), it's just the background music missing. I'm now in Ziazu by the way.
Awesome news! Hope you don't get stuck too often. Although if you ever need help, someone will always pop by to offer some advice!
I already did the narrow path to the right of sealed door but still sealed.

Edit: Nevermind, I saw where I missed. Thanks!
Okay, so you need to defeat all the "Soldiers of the Seal", right? I dooooon't THINK they're considered part of the "kill all monsters" side-quest, which is why you heard the jingle without unsealing the door.

Try going to the right of the sealed door (with the save and healing points next to it) and up the narrow path. Usually if anyone misses a Soldier of the Seal, it's that one.
Great game! Need help though. I'm stuck at Castle Barios and I'm a hundred percent sure that I finished off all the monsters (heard the all monsters cleared theme). Even triple-checked the paths just to be sure, yet the door is still sealed with magic. Is there something I'm missing or is it a glitch? :(
