Because that style wouldn't lend its self well to the type of project I'm making, or the feel that I'm trying to evoke with its storyline; they're for more light-hearted projects, such as Heroes of Tsufana, etc. Keep in mind that just because I'm utilizing these graphics for this one project in particular doesn't mean it will become a mainstay in the series. After this, there's a great chance I'm going to switch back to using NES/SNES DW and FF rips again. For once, however, I wanted to make a serious project using this style, and since the original DF is fairly short... it was the perfect target!
