This game is a tribute to the old school program RPG Maker 2000 that I used to live off of back in the day.

KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU MAY NEED A FONT PATCH FOR THIS ONE!
https://app.box.com/s/39b5a2b5219b0d9b310e THIS PATCH WORKS GREAT!

REGULAR VERSION;
http://rpgmaker.net/games/3766/downloads/3732/

In this quest you play as a Dark Elf named Dagree. He's a simple treasure hunter who is normally feared by humans. For some reason, the citizens of Vitality Island aren't scared of him except for the naughty Royal Family. Along the way you can make choices in the game that determine what side character you'll end up with.

The story itself is easy to follow and doesn't really need to be serious.
Most of the characters that you talk to probably rode on the short bus.

Notes for the adventure; Other main characters come into the play as well. If you join up with the wizard he'll have his own problems that come into light during the quest for you. If you kill the wizard you get a thief to replace the loss. If you don't talk to everyone, future quests won't become available and you'll miss out on items, weapons, or hidden bosses. There are also abilities that your characters can learn (pushing stones, raiding houses). I'm going to guess that the game time runs at about 10 hours long or so.

2013 VERSION;
Even though I'm working on Epic Elf 2, I had to return to this project simply because I enjoy playing around with it. I think that it's finally time to move on. If you enjoyed Epic Elf, this version will entertain you as well!
I fixed up the story, added more mini quests, enemies, jokes, bosses, blood, creepy stuff and secret items. Enjoy! Dagree gets a happy ending in this one!

So the "Fixed Version" of Epic Elf is done!

I just submitted the (hopefully) final version of Epic Elf.
So, it's a little easier and a few extra things were added, like a side quest in Limbo and an extra cut scene with Daploma. You will be able to use your old save file incase you were wondering.
So I hope that helps those who had a hard time with the game, and if there are still minor glitches . . . . damn it!

Damned if I remember how to get into the manor basement.

The girl (Mellwe) who wants some flowers from the graveyard. I believe I have found the batch but you cant get them...is this for later?

Ive played so many versions of EE I dont know my epic from my elf.
The manor basement ain't til later.
The girl wants flowers from the Spirit Forest.
Duhhhhh...thanks, Bag o'Balls.
Well at least it ain't a sack of nuts!
I guess it all depends on the size of the pile!
Epic Elf (Final) is just minor tweaked version with slightly easier difficulty. Nothing too special.
Now I see EE2013. Will the madness never end? And youre working on EE2? Youre making me crazy but of course now I am going to dl this new one.
Just some minor glitches were touched up. Nothing was added. I'll probably work on Epic elf 3 when I find a place to live. But I PROMISE that this is it for Epic Elf 1 & 2!

Until the next update. :)
Don't knock it. At least you actually finished it first before going back and touching it up. It's your pride and joy, after all. Most will simply keep trying to polish it as they go along, and never finish.
Thanks for the game man, i love it. Although i've found a bug, Calvin is supposed to heal when blocking but it doesn't. I'd appreciate it if you fix it, thanks again.
Silly me, i wanted to comment on the Epic Elf 2 thread not on this one.
Here's a few minor glitches I found;

1) Gargan's "Spirit Touch" ability was suppose to steal enemies' HP and MP, but instead it just does a little damage without the suction. Damn.

2) There's a blue headed dude in the Rebel's Hideout (with the trading posse) that claims he 'only had one left.' You should've been able to trade a Pig's Ear for a Hell Claw. Gargan is equipped with the weapon when you get him; so you get it when he's upgraded. I'm still looking into this one however!

3)If you find Mr. Grim and don't have the item he wants, you'll get treated to a character pic that ain't his! Cool, huh?!

That's about all I've found for now!
can somebody point out the locations of all the golden coins? I've made it to 74 but I couldn't find the last one. Also, how do you get to the Limbo sidequest?
