Date-able Girls:

Sarah
The daughter of the Innkeeper in happy valley. She's the very first girl you meet when you arrive in town. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, stocky build, and is the easiest girl to get. Winning her affection means being polite and considerate for she helped save your life (by nursing you at the Inn). She likes the simple things in life, and doesn't care about the extravagant.

Claire
She is the girl-next-door to the farm you work on. She's very much in tune with animals and especially loves horses. She has light brown hair and light brown eyes. Thin build, but healthy. She loves anything cultivated on a farm from milk to cabbage.

Lelani
She works at the seed shop in the dark woods. She's kind of a hermit and lives with just her mother. She's very in tune with nature and likes things from the forest/wild. She has long dark-brown hair, green eyes and a thin build. You can only start dating her once you're on good terms with her mother. Otherwise she won't trust you and become increasingly hard to date. Sometimes skinny dips. She also thinks she's an elf (a people who died out long ago).

Mandy
She lives at Evergreen Village, the hometown of the player. She's the players childhood friend and lives in fright of monsters. She won't be date-able until you save her town from it's threat. Everyone in Evergreen is under a trance that must be broken by cultivating certain crops around the town. She has red hair and blue eyes and a semi-stocky build. She likes old memories of you with her and anything that reminds her of them (objects from the town, etc).

Rose
She works at a flower shop in Kalinder Village. She likes flowers of all kinds. She has auburn hair and hazel eyes. She's kind of an eccentric when it comes to flowers. You must be a regular customer in her store to open up dating dialog.

Caitlin
She is the princess at Kalinder castle and will begin to date you behind her fathers back if you decide to talk to her by being a gardener for the castle. While you are not a prince. showing strength and skill will win her affection, and also being the hero of Etruria by resolving the threat about the crystals that landed on the lands. Once you are the champion for the king, you can marry her. She has blond hair, blue eyes, thin and just about the best girl you can get. But getting her takes a lot of time, patience and skill.

Noteworthy People:

King Archibald IV
He's the father of Caitlin, a girl you get to meet on your journey. He was the sole target for your message as a courier. Once he sees that you are skilled in the way of the farm-tools he enlists your help (alongside Sir Gerald Helmsworth) in trying to come up with a plan to pacify the crystals that have fallen from space.

Botanist Sir Gerald Helmsworth
He's a very posh scientist who works for the King, sometimes a bit of an ass. He's been assigned the sole duty of resolving the issues with the crystals that have fallen from the sky. He has proof that the crystals react to plants, but as to which kinds he does not know. You join him as an assistant and while working on your own farm, you help him work out ways to pacify the crystals. But more often than not it's you who are getting the breakthroughs... And he takes all of the credit! He also has an affection for Caitlin, so if you are dating her, be careful! (Most girls have a silent boyfriend, he's the most vocal).

The Hag Begula
Begula is a hag that lives by herself south of Happy Valley. She's very mystical in the way of cultivation and often develops specialty poultices for yourself, animals and plants. She will try to have a relationship with you, especially if you vist her often. Be warned.

Kora
She's the mother of Lelani and runs her specialty seed shop in the Dark Wood. She doesn't trust anybody and often hides her daughter from anyone visiting the store. She will open up to you if you can retrieve her cat from the old forest ruins. She has a motherly affection for Old Ernest, the ferryman and often worries about him.

Old Ernest
Old Ernest is (not at first) a happy old man that has been a ferryman for Lake of the Face for many, many years. He knows much about the lake and the reason why it's called "Lake of the Face". Later he would want you to help him publish a book about the lake, as the one last thing he does before he dies. Before that however, you meet him by helping him fix his ferry. This in turn fixes him for he can get quite upset up about his recently passed away wife, Matilda (a reason why his ferry got broken in the first place).

Bruce
Bruce is a travelling trader who will set up shop in many areas including but not limited to; a stand at Lake of the Face, Dark Wood, The Mottled Mountains, and the villages: Evergreen Village, Happy Valley, and Kalinder Village.

Farmer Barnum
Barnum is the players great uncle (Grandfathers brother), and owns a farm in Happy Valley. He's in his mid 60's, but still very active. You become his farm hand and essentially help him run the farm in Happy Valley. He gives you a place to stay when you're away from Evergreen Village.

Jonah
Jonah is the father of Claire and runs the Daffodil Farm. He's a horse breeder by trade and introduces you to livestock of all kinds. Daffodil Farm is primarily a dairy farm, but has plants and other animals too.

Mayor
He's the mayor of Happy Valley. He's a nice guy, very jubilant and happy, but the town really isn't. He would like for someone to make the town relive it's namesake of "Happy Valley" by throwing parties and helping out wherever.
