Legionwood 2 is finally on sale!

The day everyone a small group of hardcore fans has been waiting for is here: after almost four years of development, the full version of Legionwood 2 has finally been released. As of this very moment, the game is available to purchase from the Dark Gaia Studios website in all of its indie, SNES-style Role Playing Game glory.

As I’ve posted before, the game retails for $5.99 USD (even though I live in Australia it’s so much easier to handle online payments in American dollars) and you can pay for your copy via Paypal, credit card or wire transfer – it’s all handled securely through the game’s distributor. All purchased copies of Legionwood 2 are completely DRM-free and can be backed up on an external drive or transferred to other PCs with ease.

I’m also working on getting the game available through Desura and its associated portals. The Desura edition of Legionwood 2 is currently being evaluated and should be online within the next two weeks. By the end of March I’ll also hopefully have the game out on some of the larger RPG Maker portals such as Amaranth Games and RPG Maker Web as well.

I first started working on Legionwood 2 back in 2010 right after Legionwood 1’s release. After countless betas and even a complete rewrite in a new engine, I’m so excited that the game is finally complete and ready to be devoured by masses of hungry fans. It’s been an awesome ride working on this game and engaging with all the people who tested its various beta builds – without your feedback, it definitely wouldn’t be as good as it is today. I really hope that you enjoy Legionwood 2 and its epic continuation of the Legionwood canon.

You can start your adventure by purchasing the game or downloading the free demo here. Happy adventuring!

Well, THAT's a weird bug. Did it happen just once, or can you reproduce it? I'll pass the information on to the scripter of the battle system - the updated version still seems to have issues.
It happens every time you try it. I've had it happen to me multiple times and most of them were pure accidents. I think part of the problem is coming from your custom battle system but I'm not positive. You can also cycle through your team by hitting cancel but I don't think it gives any sort of benefit.
Hello, first time I gain control over the characters in the veeerry beginning of the game and click "equipment" (like one of the character told me to), I click on it, and click "optimized". Turned out one of my characters ended up holding two swords, so the other character was weaponless. I tried to remove it, but can't. When I click "remove", it's only removed the armors, but the weapons stay. And I can't find any spares on the inventory too! When I tried to "adjust" it, I can't click on the blank space, can't remove it. What should I do? Is it possible to fix it or should I restart the game?
Just restart the game there, I think.
And one tip: don't use the optimize often, or at least that's my way.
Make custom funfun characters :)
Hey, I use RPG Maker VX Ace and it's Run-Time Package. But, my Point is I'll be more than Happy to be a Beta Tester of this game. I mean I am a huge fan of the first Legion Wood game, and I would be more the willing to Beta Test the Sequel.
And, let us know if you decide to remake the first game in RPG Maker VX Ace.

Thanks,
Rocky Lincourt
@fathskie: In the current release of the game, there's a "<Remove Equipment>" option that appears in the equipment list when you adjust what's equipped in each slot.

@Rainen: I think I've stopped those errors occurring now, since I've disabled being able to hit escape to cycle through party members, but pressing F12 to reset the game now causes similar errors to happen in certain battles.
bug:rouge class is felix and when i equip him with 2 handed it fits and the other sword also...in short felix handle 2 swords but one is 2 handed...confuse??!!
Yeah, that's due to the 2 Handed system not working for Rogue classes yet. He isn't supposed to wield more than one 2 Handed weapon, but I haven't implemented that properly.
ahhh..so i might changed class of all my character to rouge class!!
This is one of my pet hates. In order to beat the enemies and earn enough money to buy a few items you have to fight. BUT in Hunter's Cave, you can easily have 2 characters inflicted with poison, so 2 antidotes to cure. Cost 80 kypers. You only earn 33-39 (depending who's in the enemy party). Do that a few times, and trust me, it's not difficult when practically every enemy party has someone who can poison, and you end up bankrupt. Same problem in the woods, but even worse because even less money as a drop.
I think it would be a good idea to reduce the chances of being poisoned in the cave so that the player can build up enough money to buy items.
i think you just need to buy a ring that prevent poison currently i have it...you need to farm to get lots of gold or sell items that is useless.
You can easily steal Antidotes from the Dire Spiders, if I recall. If not, I'll add that in. Thanks for the heads up :)

That ring doesn't seem to be available early on; it was something I looked for.

Never got one. Thanks for adding it in.

EDIT
Just to be sure, went back and tried to steal some. Got several insect venom, but no antidote.
As a general rule, you want to be able to kill randoms with two hits. With a good attack and speed, you can most of the time kill of poisoning enemies before they can poison you. Typically, you're better of trying to kill troublesome enemies quickly rather than wasting tons of items, at least early on.

Also, even if you don't steal antidotes, you can sell what you steal and buy antidotes with the money.
Well, in either case, I'll definitely be adding in a more reliable way of getting Antidotes when I update the game (probably Beta 4.0). So far, I do know for sure that the enemies have a 1/4 chance of dropping Antibiotics, but I'll add in the ability to steal them, too.
I wanted to go back through the Pass and cave to do another couple of rounds in the Colyseum, but couldn't get back through the cave because of the way the boulders had been set up. Is this deliberate?
When you try steal item from Seraph the game show error and shutdown afterwards(You can get astral feather but the other one crash game).
@littlebro: No, it isn't. I'll fix that up.

@gobik: I'll try and see what I can do. I'll need to get my scripter to look at it and see what's causing the crash.
Just finished, and am looking forward to v. 4.0. Really enjoyed playing so far. thanks
