FANTASIA:Glitch Fix

In the demo I updated yesterday, there was a glitch where if you got hit near a corner or something, Lydia would get stuck and not move. I fixed that, so you can now download it again:)

Yay! But now I have another issue. There's a large jump that I know for a fact I can't make, and it has a sign that says something about running and jumping, but there's no mention of if and how I can go about running. So I've never been able to get past that!
Do you mean Seaside Coast Act 1? That jump can indeed be made. I forgot to remove the run sign because I removed the running function. Now, it feels natural and you can focus on moving better. I tested the game and all the levels are possible to complete. But, if it's hard to make that jump, I'll fix the level.
Okay, it is SO freaking fun hurting Lydia. The sound effect of her dying makes me laugh whenever it happens.

Also, it would be nice to be able to slash while moving.

I have to admit, it is pretty hilarious hearing that "Agggghhhhh!" every now and then XD
Often times I die on purpose just to hear it.

I was planning on making a running slash. But, I base every character's gameplay style from another existing character.Lydia's main gameplay character is from the Monster World games( you can only slash while standing). However, her spin slash is modeled after Zero from the MegaMan X franchise.

Classic example of a bad idea only seen in old games. You can still base it off the old character and make it more playable. I stated it in my other comment, but the controls for that character make the game unplayable for me. Don't sabotage the game on purpose >.< Maybe it's just because the delay times are so bad. Old/Classic doesn't always mean good.

You already added something new with the spin attack, apparently, so you might as well keep making changes for the better.
I agree, walk and slah is better than stopping to slash.

Also, if you want to make the spinning slash more useful, Xbuster, you should make it so it does an obscene amount of damage and Lydia just plows through what she hits while doing it.

No, that would suck. You already get damaged by pretty much anything. Also, whenever I get damaged, I get to fall to the side and wait to get back up. It shouldn't be like this, it is really annoying. Everything looks really nice, I love lydia's sprite, can't wait for the one's from you all!

Yeah, I could do that. Thanks for the feedback! That's why it's so fun developing this game. I get to change the bad and transform it into good. I'm not disappointed. I can take both good and bad comments. Keep in mind that nothing is final yet. This game is just getting started.

However, the spin slash has to be weak, otherwise, it would be too easy. In MegaMan ZX advent this ability is meant to be rapid, but weak. You can't make an attack both rapid and strong. I want this games difficulty to be harder than the normal platform game and MegaMan is the perfect game to inspire me to do so. I just got done beating that game on Expert mode by the way. There's still plenty more to fix in this game. Most of the time I know what to fix before the users notice.

The thing is, I base abilities off of MegaMan games and such. Running and slashing is indeed in the plan, but I'm a beginner in game maker, so I just can't do it immediately. But, when I find out, I will add it.
