So . . . MapleStory sucks.

Now, do NOT take this the wrong way; lately I've been really wanting to get back into MS, especially with the Cygnus Knights. But, I can't install it. The installer always randomly freezes at some point, forcing me to restart.

So, I've had to resort to private servers, but it isn't the same (what with the ultra-fast leveling and crap that throws me off). Right now, I am taking one last shot at getting the downloader, though I doubt it will work. If it does not, I will resume work on JotD right away (getting one more subscriber is just so exciting! xD ). If it DOES . . . well, see you for about a week. ^^

I played that game when it first came out. After about a week they erased my account info and I was forced to start all over again. I never did, they lost my trust.

Yikes, that sucks! I've loved it for years until a while ago. I'm just picking it up again.

Was it an open or closed beta? If so, most games wipe the accounts.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a beta version, it was shortly after it became an internet phenomenon. Happened to my cousin about a year later too. Bewaaaaare :P

The last time i played maplestory was in middleschool. I recently took another look at it over the winter break. The game is so darn broken now, it's actually crazy, and they ruined all the existing maps.
