Quick Guide
This is just a list of things in case you get stuck or don't know where to go or what to do.

Where do I go after Eagen joins the party?
You can go anywhere you want, but it's advised you explore the cave. The east exit blocked by spiderwebs can now be traversed.

Where do I go after I recruit Xebec?
Go back to the cave and find the crates blocking the north exit. You can now pass them.

What do I do after a certain event in which a certain character left the party seemingly permanently?
Go pass where you saw the character "die". You should see a cut-scene.

My party is too weak with just Eagen.
If you saw the event with Zathus, the following day, go back to the Inn.

I can't beat the first boss!
To make the fight much easier, on rare occasion a mage named Ankaba will appear on the 2nd floor of the cave. She is recruitable for 300z.

When do I unlock alchemy and enchanting?
You unlock both after defeating the first boss.

How do I defeat Queue Boy?
Find the Reflect Spell tome and teach the spell to Reniat or Ankaba. Cast it on your party so Queue Boy's all-party spells get reflected back to him.

The pilgrims rarely appear! How can I learn skills faster?
At some point in the game, you can go south of Merrill to see an event. Then you'll be able to purchase the old school building and it'll become a dojo where skill trainers can be hired to move in. The first one is free but the others are unlocked as long as you bumped into them in the cave.

Where is Horton?
He is in the Runalea Plains. You get there by following the cave exit from where you met Zathus.

I purchased Storage#2 but it still only holds 100 items!
Storage#2 and Storage#3 are actually located in your basement, which you can get to from the den.

Yay, just defeated the first boss I get new skills now....runs back to game :)
I noticed in your manual that you also had silver added as one of the metals available. Is it actually obtainable yet in this version? I have steel weapons but what about steel armor. I need some upgrades badly cause bosses like captain colorous and robert are hitting way too hard and my +7 flaming steel greatswords arent doing enough damage to them =\

Not obtainable in Part 1.
Do you have the latest version of the game? Both bosses were nerfed at one point.
How do i check my game version again? I downloaded this about a week ago. I dont know for a fact if they are nerfed or not. I mean I dont think robert should be able to 1-shot my entire party with electroshock at lvl 10 with lvl 2 healthiness enchants on my gear...
Btw, what does the adventuring, foraging and merchant skills do exactly? I have my merchanting at 45 but I havent seen even the slighest effect from it. These skills feel like arbitrary numbers that just go up as I do my thing...

They are used for events. You need your merchant skill at certain levels to see Gunsqueak's friendship events for instance.
So even if you manage to level up bonds with various npcs you have to have a skill level corresponding with them in order to benefit from it? Is there a clear-cut way to identify which npc is tied to which skill?
I really dont know where to get the adventurer license for the cave Can some one please help its getting annoying :\
Am i doing something wrong? I started the game 10 minutes ago, and i was on my 3rd day. I started cooking like 2 dishes, and crafted 2 daggers, and my ap was already down to 10%. I can't do anything in my days if they consume so much. Do days matter? I don't want to fight bosses when i hardly have any time to train.
Days don't matter. There's no time limit. Take as long as you'd like in progressing through the game. Also, as your crafting level goes up, crafting consumes less AP.
There's a big hole at a certain point in Floor 3 of the cave, and I'm looking for something to fill it in with. There are no boulders anywhere to be found, which is the usual solution to this. RPG storytelling logic says that the solution should be in an area that's only accessible after beating the Floor 3 boss, and there are a few things in the rail area that look like they would fit (If it was me I'd pry a few of those vertical boards off the wall and use them to bridge the gap) but nothing I find is actually usable. So what's going on here?!?

Also, I just have to wonder, how is it that a smart and highly educated girl like Reniat never realizes, when confronted with a big spider web, that SHE HAS A FREAKING TORCH RIGHT THERE IN HER HAND that would probably be very useful for spiderweb removal?
There's two bosses on Floor 3. Did you defeat them both?
Ah, there's a second boss? I haven't found him yet...
Which one did you defeat so far?
OK, found the other boss. BTW the salesman in that same room, if you try to talk to him, doesn't open a text box for some reason, and it completely freezes the game until you hit ENTER again. (To close the text box that never got opened?)
I need help with that Androgynous boss that has my bro captive!

Oh thanks, I'll fix that.
A few more bugs for you.

When crafting, if you hit PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN to scroll the crafting list (if you have more than a whole screen worth of options), the list scrolls correctly, but the right pane (list of required ingredients) does not update.

Infrequently (I can't reproduce this one reliably) when completing the Cooking Delivery quest, it does not disappear from the journal. It has the objective marked as completed, and then just sticks around until you abort the quest. This might (maybe, just a hypothesis) be happening when Qwilte is the intended recipient.
