After a mutiny against the captain of a cruise liner, two siblings find themselves washed up on a beach. One, blind from a past heinous crime against her person she won't speak of, is anxious to find the "Isle of Sedista" and get a treasure from the cave at the center of the island to restore her sight. Her brother will see that she succeeds at whatever the cost to himself, in spite of the damage he has suffered at her hands.

However, the island of Sedista - and its' inhabitants - have other, far darker plans for them...

"Their bond will be stretched.
Their unity will be tested.
Their patience will be bent.
Their love will be challenged.

When it is, they will separate.
And ultimately, they will die.

So decree the Masters of Sedista.
May the wheels of Fate continue our reign forever."

- Lyncoptis and Xeschro.

For v. 1.7 and beyond, I have reorganized the dialogue. You should not need to talk to everyone until they repeat to know where to go next.
This game should take you between 40 minutes to one-and-a-half hours without monster battles.

Yep. New version. I fixed the misaligned switch that rendered the game unplayable past the initial town, so you should be able to get farther.

Let me know of any bugs you discover on your journey through the Isle of Sedista!
I think this game is real good so far. Neat characters and story line. The battles are fun. I can only enter the main town and weapon shop and im at the ice castle. I didnt no if i wasnt supposed to be able to access the other towns yet. BTW subbed.
Im sorry i forgot where, but some where in the first cave with the lava, if you take the first turn up your able to run along the right wall on to the mountain. Yet you cant get back off.
You should be able to access the second town after the first goes up in flames, which should occur after the first dungeon if you talk to the little girl in Sedista multiple times.
This game requires you to talk around to NPCs a lot to start.

As for the second post, I will look into it and see what's causing it.
Ok i didnt do the whole flame thing. oops Alright i talked to the little girl, then the whole lightning, and then slept at the inn and flames. Then that quite girl was gone. I went to the second town had the conversation and it froze up.

Thanks, bigtime... That was due to an entirely incomplete scene I had forgotten about. I had skipped over that half-scene to finish the rest of the game.
I enjoy this game, glad to help. Any idea when fixed download will be up?

I'm just completing a play-through today. Barring real-life events, it should be up Friday.
Ok awesome and good luck with life. I try to avoid it by coming here :)

It's another hobby of mine. I have several. Most revolve around writing or singing or game design of some form or another. ;)
Keep up the game design this is a fun one.
I hope others find it just as fun when I get the fully-operational version up!
I downloaded the new one and put it over my last game keeping my old save file. Now i cant enter the second city. Im going to try starting a new game.
EDIT: ok on new game still cant access second city, after the fire, it wont allow me to walk in.
First dungeon is nice with treasure chests. Makes it well worth exploring. Also do you know your rats are named rates?

Yeah, I did. Kept that in there 'cuz I could. ;)
Going to check out the entrance to the second city later today.
Downloaded this earlier, and played for about half an hour. To be honest, this game just doesn't do it for me for a lot of reasons. Here's some tips:

- Add some direction to your game. I mean, I'm tossed onto some island, and somehow one of the main characters smell some food and suggest that there might be a town nearby? And it doesn't really get better.
- The dialogue is bland. Add some spice to it. Give it that "interesting" factor that really captures the player's attention, or he/she will get bored pretty fast. And another thing, don't add NPCs just for the hell of it.
- The general world could use some work. For example, the town just doesn't cut it for me. Three buildings, four of five NPCs who give bullshit information, and walls of trees?

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the info!
Hopefully I can come up with the cash to buy RMVXA... it'll be nice to work on a modern RPG Maker as opposed to the ancient 2k3 I've been using since 2k5.
Okay, the download I put up for approval today, the last one I'll be able to, has fixed the breaks in the storyline eventing. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to get anything more on this game done as I will be busy over this next weekend with a few things.

If I win the Nugget Contest or free up money enough to buy RMVXA, I will be revisiting this game - and MindCage - and making sure I do a far better job showcasing my well-practiced two-decade-old writing skill. I may even try my hand at scripting, and I will most certainly be organizing my switches better...

For now, and until I buy/win RMVXA, this is the final release.

Thank you again!
May the best Nugget game win!
