Horror RPG, winner of the 2005 Misao for Best Atmosphere.
You and two friends find yourselves lost in the woods one day and decide to seek refuge in a nearby mansion. Certainly nothing could go wrong; people do that sort of thing all the time, don't they? But what you are about to discover is that this is no ordinary mansion, and its inhabitants are no ordinary people... Welcome to The Longing Ribbon. (Not Rocky Horror.)

A feature! Why thank you. And this game is only 5 years old now! ^_^ Thanks to everyone who has given reviews and feedback over the years. Seems like ages since the day I Frankensprited the RTP villager girl's head onto Britt Brady's trenchcoat boy. I'd be the first to agree that the quality of this game goes downhill after chapter 5. For the first time, I'll admit publicly that I made it up as I went along and also I think the ending boss is lame. But it was a question of either finishing the game shoddily, or not finishing it at all. However, I remain unrepentant about the "waterfall" area. You have to remember Don Miguel to understand. It is a tribute to him. Thanks again!

I've just completed the game, and have gotten all the secrets besides the Chapter. III cave power up, and all I can say about this game......well...let me explain using a quote from one of my favorite RMK games.

"Woah...trippy" -Dison from, Visions and Voices.
Not that you haven't already heard this before but this is simply one of the best games I have ever played...

Thank you my friend. :)
No Problem. I meant it though, the storyline was memorable and you accomplished a lot of neat things with the system. I honestly played the entire game through in one sitting...

I hope you'll play my newer better game. Not that it'll be done before 2012 though.
Gibmaker don't you think about reapair stats. Pepoels usualy hacking this game before play by upgrading battle characters on max...Stat system should make game easier in some aspects nothing more. In present state of this game only one way to beat game is to be a stat fairy or hack stats in rpgmaker on max...

When i played first time i repeat part before first battle and combining stat set to win whis battle after five tries i decided to hack this game...More peopels usually doing this...but mostly they ending game at first battle ! It should be repaired absolutley. More pepoels should look how this game is wonderfull but before that happend stats must be to repaired.
Well, there is an "official" trick that lets you skip battles.

But I still think this game should have no battles.
Too bad that I didn't read about the skip battle function before I played through the game.
But I don't know how anyone could play through it without skipping them somehow because they are absolutely unbalanced which, together with the amount of fights, really ruins the game.
Finally did finish this game! The story was REALLY COOL, but the battling was REALLY HARD/ ALMOST IMPOSSIBLLE!
The Batltes and Status upgrading things didn't fit well in the game, still, GJ.

Congratulation, worth my time spent on this ;]

I rate it 4! Grat'z
Well, I have to agree, this game is really hard. I mean, uhh... First, i was so frustrated, couldnt get past the first bat battles. Then i had enugh, cheated with the help of the almighty Readme, and beat the game.

Then i read a walkthrough, and it said, like "get the advanced attacks and it will be so good for you...", but the sad thing is, when you actually use them, your mp runs out, and you are f*cked. So i invented an ultimate walkthrough, and it is absolute, 100 %, working, the game will be very easy and fully enjoyable.

While i was cheating, i realized, my hero can avoid hell of a lot attacks with agility maxed. So i tried it out.

1; When you start playing, get your AGI maxed right away. With only 5 sinks, its gonna be childplay. If you do that, you can avoid a really lot of attacks, preserving your hp.

2; After that, max out DEF, so if you do get hit, it will only cost you only 50% of your hp, so it is also a great advantage.

3; After those, you have to max out ATT. Yes, another 5 sinks, but your attacks will be 2X strong.

And thats it, when you done with these 15 sinks, you are actually at the really end of the game.
But why is this good? We wont have any advanced attacks, nor unheal and any other thingy.
The answer is simple.

You wont get hit at least half ot the times when you should.
Even if you do, your hp is still safe.
With your 200% ATT, you can beat any enemy, any boss, without any problem.
The game gets really easy and really enjoyable, no more frustration, no more swearing. Just the pure enjoyment. Because this game ROCKS =)
Well... never imagined someone would devise a strategy for this. I still think this game should have no battles at all.
This game was most excellent. Sadly, the battle system forced me to "cheat" foe's HP down to nothing.

Way too hard with no tactical advantages.
Maybe the game doesn't need battles. :x
Looks cool, I'll give it a try. Hope it's not too scary, I don't like scary games! ;]

You don't like scary games? But those are the best games!
Just played through this for the second time and, as with games like this, I wish I knew exactly what had transpired. So many questions! @_@

Like...
...why was the sword able to de-possess things? Who exactly were Reschen and Daryxll? Were they Lannie's ancestor who wish to live again? How exactly did the model house work/come into play? Why, after the final boss...

...were you required to deliver a killing blow to Luke?

Just curious. (I.E. PM ME AND TELL ME PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!)

Still, this was and still is an awesome game!
honestly this game is a masterpiece of horror. There is no on the whole scane game in rpgmaker in so realistic and movie horror amtosphere with so bright characters. Its simply perfect.

I think there should be battles based more on reflex with a little aspect of stats...Game would be ideal when battles from end be possible to beat even on first level so there should be aspect of reflex in battles at first place.

Oh, so many plot questions of course. As I've said before, I made this game quite badly, by jumping between scary happenings, which works well in the first part of the game but as you can see it leaves plot holes a-plenty.
