The story within Legends of Inacha is told through the voice of Nari. Under the pretence, that he's merely telling a bed time story. To his niece Leen, who's had a nightmare. Leen doesn't know that her nightmare, was a vision of the future. Or that Nari is secretly sending her back in time. In order to prevent the catastrophe, that may befall them.

The game will be built around eight chapters. Each one focusing on one of the seven legendary warriors back stories. And how Leen, in her own way managed to help them become the hero's they were. Eventually In chapter eight, Leen meets up with Go-Ki (The future Jade Knight) and joins him on his quest to save the world. At the end of each chapter, Leen’s transported back to the astral plane, to receive advice from Nari before tackling the next chapter.

Currently only the first chapter is available, and there’s no battle system yet since I would like to make my own after some practice at scripting. As it's my first ever project I'm really just looking for some early feedback, from the experienced people here.

Easter bank holiday progress.

Hey just a little update, on game progression. Unfortunately I haven't got as much done as I would have liked. For some reason the easter weekend apparently meant cleaning spree, in my house. -.-

Other then cleaning I've mostly worked on mapping, it tends to be my favorite aspect of making the game. I'm not the fastest at it, but I think the overall results are fairly O.K.(least I'm happy with them).

Completed maps:
>Carrina Port (exterior) I've added this to the end of the "rough cut chapter one" download, so you can look around it. (Talk to the Flame spirit in Orphans Hideout, select no to the first question. Then she'll ask if you want to look around some locations.)
>Ohitsn District (exterior)
>The Alleyman 1st + 2nd floors (interior)

Also I've delved into the world of scripting for the first time, (still looking for some lessons by the way). I haven't made any of my own, but I'd still like to develop the custom battle screen I designed.

Into the game I've added :
>Yanfly Engine Ace - Ace core engine.
>Yanfly Engine Ace - Battle engine.
>Yanfly Engine Ace - Party system.
There all pretty sweet I'm especially fond of Yanfly's Party system, it opens up a lot of possibilities. (Well so do the others to be honest).

I've decided to add a little bit extra to round of chapter one. Which involves a night time jaunt through the streets of Langok, battling monsters and guards to catch up with Karin. Before the cut-scene gets underway.

Anyway here's my to do list for the immediate future:
>Add extra section to the end of chapter one (It's mapped it just needs eventing / night time putting in place)
>Map all exterior Locations
>Map all interiors
>Map all dungeons

Again any advice or tips are appreciated. (Especially if you know how to add night time). ^,^

This doesn't look that bad..but is it just me, or do those screenshots seem a bit squished? Maybe it's the resolution or something.

You have some grammatical errors and such. For example, you're misusing commas a lot in just the info. about your game. If you're not good with the language, you should probably find someone who is to do the writing.

The info's been altered, and hopefully theres no issue their anymore. I will have some one proof read the text within the game, before it's final version. As for writing nothings certain I may, and probably will look to getting a writer.

You've just uploaded the game's .exe which won't actually run without the rest of the info. To upload the proper installation file, you'll need to go into RPG Maker VX Ace, go to "File" and click "Compress Game Data". Don't bother including the RTP because most people will already have it or can get it, so just plop the file out on your Desktop or something and wait for it to compress. Then upload the resulting file (should have a little blue cube for an icon) and people will be able to play your game. :3

I'd appreciate it. How do you want to do it? Should I finish the game off then let you work over it, or do you want to go on a chapter by chapter basis?

concept demo. Not much game in here, just a few cutscenes which you could get stuck on due to shoddy eventing. Interesting ideas here include a character who appears throughout the game as a channel for developer commentary, a secret stash with OP equipment (useless, there are no battles), and a large scrolling text section outlining ideas, similar to those "I have an idea for a game" threads you see every so often around here.
