Though close to Mina, he feels separate from her at times, not only because he has wings when she doesn't, but also due to their differences in personalities and hobbies. His agreeing to join the Ranger guild with her is mostly to abate some of that guilt.

She's loud, abrasive and just plain selfish, but beneath all that she's a child who just wants to be free to play and enjoy her youth. And if that means she has to run away from home to get what she wants, well, she'll do just that.

A child of the Creeping clan, Pakiko is usually quite reserved around new people, but can't help but boast about her phenomenal swimming skills when the subject is broached. She's one of a few Creeping clan members who weren't born or raised in Sima Fort, and she's usually pretty particular about articulating correctly, though she does tend to show her accent when riled up or excited about something. Her parents are both travelling merchants and have left her home alone while they're on the road, believing her to be safer in town than travelling the roads with them.

She's often seen experimenting in an old laboratory, usually accompanied by either squeals of delight or distress and an almost constant cloud of smoke. She recently left home, looking for missing components to complete her so-called 'masterpiece' - some strange machine that she dug up from some ruins and has been trying to fix. Like most people of her clan, she is much stronger than her feminine looks would indicate.

Ryu Bateson
Last known living member of the Brood clan above ground, Ryu was instrumental in the defeat of Deathevan and saving the world. Since then he has become a high-ranked Ranger and father to twins. Whilst Nina is away he is in charge of making sure that everything runs smoothly in Township. Unlike Nina, he doesn't see an issue with letting Mina and Neyu become Rangers, though perhaps the fact that he's a bit overwhelmed by all the paperwork to really notice what the twins are doing has something to do with it.

Nina Bateson
Daughter of the King and Queen of Wyndia, she played a large part in the saving of the world from the evil God Deathevan. She has since married Ryu, had two children and played a large part in rebuilding Township back to its former glory. She is currently visiting her parents in Wyndia, leaving Ryu as stand-in Mayor of Township. She often clashes with her daughter about what is and is not proper for a young lady to be doing, but as Mina grows older it's become more a case of 'Do what I say, not what I do' and the hypocrisy of her arguments are starting to wear on her resolve.

Katt Chuan
Feisty and ferocious, Katt has been travelling a lot since the defeat of Deathevan, exploring new areas, refining her battle skills and searching for more Woren clan members. She even catches a show at the Coliseum in Corsair from time to time (and once or twice was the star attraction). No matter her travels, though, she always makes sure to keep in touch with her pseudo-family and visits Ryu and Nina often, usually to Mina's delight and Nina's chagrin. She's such a constant part of the family's life that the twins have taken to calling her their Aunt, to her horror.

Rand Marks
After avenging his mothers' death at the hands of the Church, Rand settled into rebuilding and restoring Farm Town back to the close-knit community it used to be. He has also reached out to the survivors of the rebellion and helped them build Cotland into a small trade settlement. His days are spent dealing with traders, farmers and common folk and he couldn't be happier. Or so he thought before he met Miranda. Now newly married and expecting a child, Rand's only regret is not seeing more of his friends.

Sten Legacy
After the last battle, Sten finally chose to return to Highland and face the life he had been running from for so long. It came as no surprise to his friends that soon after he and the Princess were married and if the months of her pregnancy were a bit off from the wedding date, no one deigned to point it out. Learning to be a good King for the benefit of his country was a hard task for Sten, and he quickly dropped his playful and happy-go-lucky demeanour. Since the birth of his daughter, he has only become stricter and more focussed on proper protocols, and this has increased in the past months, now that another child is on the way.

Aspara Gus (Spar)
During the aftermath of the last battle, Spar retreated to meditate near the Wise tree. He has barely been seen since and rumours suggest that a new Wise tree sapling has sprung up near the ruins of Gate...

Jean de Tapeta
Returning to find his kingdom secure in the hands of his younger sister, Petape, Jean decided to once more skip out on his duties and do a good-will tour, collecting donations for those most affected by the disasters that befell the world. Petape wholly agreed to this, seeing it as the right thing to do, but she did not count on him eloping with a certain young witch along the way. Nimufu returned to her tower to get it ready for when her new husband returned, only to find an irate sister-in-law awaiting her. An understanding was soon reached between the women and both have since managed to wrestle the joy-loving Prince into a semi-respectable state. Whilst very happy with his marriage, Jean sometimes regrets not running the other way.

Bow Doggy
After the war, Bow returned to Home Town to aid the Ranger guild in the monumental task of restoring their corner of the world to order. Working tirelessly along-side Ryu and the few living remnants of the guild gave Bow an appreciation for hard work and soon he was volunteering for any task that was needed. Ryu gladly tagged along, sometimes joined by Katt, other times by Nina, all working to put the world to rights. His hard work eventually paid off, netting him a date with a co-worker, which soon turned into a serious relationship. His fellow Rangers eventually chose him to take over as leader of the guild and he has been there ever since, working hard to protect his small family and friends. Mina and Neyu both consider Bow their Uncle and have a close relationship with him.

Bleu
Ever since the marriage of Ryu and Nina, Bleu has been distant and her friendship with both, strained. Her own mixed feelings for Ryu and another man she once knew of the same name, as well as her friendship with Nina and Katt, has made things a tad awkward. She no longer visits and spends most of her time in a meditative, almost catatonic, sleep.

Bleu was awesome, any big role in this game?
Bow's real name is actually Bosch, shortened as such since the translators didn't know how to work around the letter limitations in BoF2.
I know, but to me he will always be Bow. Hence why I'm keeping the original SNES translated names (I mean, Asparagus? and Linpoo? NOPE!) ^.^
