Alex's Adventures Chapter 01: The Sphex!

Alex's Adventures was a short game about a Hunter named Alex and his best friend Brian. One day Alex receive the visit of the temple priestess Mimi asking for him to go hunting a rare bird called a Sphex. She doesn't know much about it, but she DO know it is located on an island south of the main land. And then, by request of this priestess (for whom he has something a little more than respect) he goes on a quest to find this dangerous, but beautiful bird.

It was made around 2001 when I was first introduced to the world of RPG Making and altought it is a little dated compared to all my other, more recent games, I still love the kind of light hearted storytelling I could archieve on this one. Plot twists, puny jokes and comic moments are really memorable. It even tries to introduce some new game mechanics like shopping. Instead of using the standard shopping menu, in this game you examine the item displayed in a table. The vendor describes what it is and what it does (kinda like the zelda games) and asks if you really wants to buy it.

It is a short adventure (around 2 or 3 hours to complete) and the sequel was never finished, but I hope you have a great time with it.
