100 subscribers? (inb4 someone unsubs) Woah... That's a huge number! Thanks to everyone on RMN, you people are amazing! This is an unbelievable number for me. There is still a kinda long way ahead of us! Stay strong, patches and contents are coming fast! (snail speed ;_;)
So... Umm... I've noticed quite new bugs since creating Balandor. Now it's time to address those issues with this patch. Oh and players can finally freely continue their Bad/Neutral pre post-game endings without an issue! They are done. Hurray for free roaming!


ADDED

4 new maps just the south of player house
3 maps to the Bad/Neutral route
Remember the Seran's north building? It's completed
5 new items and 1 new armour (ULTIMATE ARMOUR)

CHANGES

You can visit the Ice Dungeon at the start as Bad/Neutral path
When you exit from the Lighthouse and King's Castle, your ship always dock in the nearest land, this prevents accidental stuck situations
Player House World Map icon has changed

FIXES

Fixed Missing BGMs for the Night Crimson fight and Arena Refights.
(For Bad/Neutral post-game) King's Castle no longer reachable without gathering all your party.
Fixed some grammar errors at the intro.
Fixed an issue with Bad Route crash. Because of the music file's name was wrong
Fixed an issue with Bad Route's ending that teleports you to Neutral Ending... wow

SKILL CHANGES

Dead Spot 50 TP (was 75)
Triple Punch now costs 25 TP (was 50)
Healing Bomb 2 now heals for 1.5k (was 1k)
Healing Breeze 1 heals for 750 (was 300)
Healing Breeze 2 heals for 1.5k (was 600)
Healing Breeze 3 heals for 3k (was 2k)
Healing Spirit now costs 60 TP (was 75)
Flaming Sword skills on Duran now costs 6% Less Mp
Nuke now deals 15k damage (was 3k...)
Anti-State skills are now AOE and costs 30MP (was 15)
HP Regen X now costs 10 TP (was 50) and stays for 5 turns, that means it can restore all your party's HP to Max... slowly

0.6.1 & 0.6.2: Story Continues & Break Time


Hello there, Time Travellers! I'm pushing this update very early because of my vacation time is almost over. I'm don't think I can update my game frequently in the next 2 or 3 months. This update has some neat things, players can finally visit all locations in the Bad/Neutral ending, but that place is far from over. Let's get to patch notes.

ADDED

1 new map near of Seran
2 new maps for the underground Lumberjack Camp
14 new maps for the Bad/Neutral ending (everything is now fully explorable)
1 new temporary ally
3 new items
1 new boss (level 15/20+ recommended for that one, pretty easy if you have some magic power.)

QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES

"Scrolls" inventory tab renamed as "Gadgets", now all of your books and teleport items will be stored in here. (No more scrolling through Key Items)
Better Button Tutorial menu and you'll start with the game with "Button Tutorial Book" in case you forget the buttons
Postgame content is now called Chapter IV
Spirit Urn and Onigiri are no longer Key Items, they are in Consumables
Piano background screen has changed, no more ninjas?!
Password chests always remind you to use "lowercase" now
Librarian now registers into bestiary correctly
Lulu's door is now double sized

SKILL CHANGES
Treephop's Wind Punch, Thunder Punch, Blizzard Punch now costs 15 TP (was 10TP)
Treephop's Exorcism Punch, Shadow Kick, Tackle and Dead Spot deals more damage.

BOSS CHANGES

Veteran Wolf now got a new Tutorial skill and it hurts
First encounter with Zulwhern: His HP got buffed due Treephop's early Wind Punch skill's damage is very high
Hiban now joins the Zulwhern fight so much earlier
Zulwhern now has some new tricks... to make the battle more annoying
Sion got 2 new skills and they hit a bit harder
Oni also got some new skills
Snowy Man's default skill now Debuffs your AGI
Conjurer's monsters have changed, in sprite wise
Chaos Bringer's sprite has changed too. Also, his passive HP regen is a bit higher now

FIXED

You can use Gold Powder once again (thanks to dnel57 for pointing that out)

0.6.0: The Underwater Expansion is Completed!

Greetings, Time Travellers! The Underwater Expansion is finally completed. Let's call it a mini expansion. It has a new town, enemies, bosses, mechanics and also great items. I hope everyone can find Silver Tokens and explore the dark depths below. Now it's time to work on post-game content <3 Let's get into 0.6.0 patch notes:

ADDED

7 new maps to the current underwater content
1 new map to the underground Lumberjack Camp~ (This area will get expand on the next patch)
4 new bosses and 2 monsters (35+ level HIGHLY recommended)
Leviathan is now part of a side quest
3 items, 2 weapons, 2 armours and a new house decoration
A new achievement for Gamejolt

UI CHANGES
Skill command column now scales with how many skills you got


SKILL CHANGES

Treephop's

Blizzard Punch, Rock Crush, Quake Crush, Blood Rock Force, Blood Quake Force scales better with ATK
Wind Punch and Thunder punch now deals 2 times more damage.
Bandage skill now removes every kind of ailments.
Wall of Reflection I and II now go first.
Healing Breeze skills now costs half of what they cost.
Gaia Heal skills now cost much less.

Mio's

Meteor, Crystal Rain and Thunder Storm now deal even more damage.

Duran's

Time Paradox now cost 15 TP (was 25)

Suan's

Robot Dance now cost 10 TP (was 15)

Hello there Time Travellers! I'm here with another content update~ This time you'll easily find those sneaky Silver Tokens with our new NPC! Let's dig into patch notes.

Trin Island has a new NPC, her tips will be very helpful :')
2 new maps for the Neutral/Bad end (It's location just right side of Habon)
8 new underwater maps, our journey continues even deeper!
1 new boss related to underwater (level 30+ is recommended)
You can spend 16/20 Silver Tokens now!

FIXES

Ester no longer learns Draw
A bug where you can't go to the underwater map after you finished the pre post-game
The issues with talking with the King after beating the game

Rainbow belt's stats are buffed
Royal Thief Armour now can obtainable for every ending

0.5.5 Grammar Update and Fixes!

Hello there Time Travellers! I've survived my final exams and have a little time to spare~

So this new update fixes the most annoying aspect of my game, grammar errors (well, most of it). I had to check every event, read the dialogues, proofread them and I just noticed that my game has over 40,000 words... My 100 hours+ just gone for this thing :~D Everything should be easy to read now... So let's get into patch details.

ADDED

"Save your game" reminder when entering the Lumberjack Camp
Warning icons on early game tutorials.
4 new small maps for the underwater content, this content is still not finished

CHANGES

Job & Passive changed to Job & Mastery
Jobs & Masteries now have "Job:" and "Mastery:" tag on them

SKILL CHANGES

Mio's Enhanced Spell I now costs 25 TP (was 35)
Mio's Enhanced Spell II now adds 4 spell casts on a turn! Watch your mana!

FIXES

Over 1000 grammar errors fixed~ YAY!
Activated the MEGA BOSS event... in the early "bat" dungeon... you know where is it
Fixed a bug where the late game monster appears in the Frostbite mountain.

Progress Report

About the upcoming version & commercial release?!

Thanks to my university I can hardly breathe. I can't find a single free moment to work on Shattered Hourglass ;_;
But no worries, Final exams are on the way. They are gonna hold me for 2 or 3 weeks from now on.

Let's talk about the upcoming version/patch, whatever you want to call it!

After all those years... (stupid me!) I've started to proofread all of my in-game dialogues, I guess nothing is too late! It's going to take a while... I can't believe I made tons of mistakes. Hopefully, this will enhance the overall player experience. Still, there will be errors which I can't fix but not major this time! Ugh...

Underwater content is still on making, this will take some time. No worries, we've passed the halfway mark! Not much left to add. Balandor is still in making, that will take even more time.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE BIG NEWS! There will be a Steam version in the next year. Since this game is content rich and there are so many possible achievements to get I think Steam is the perfect place for it!
There won't be many changes in the Steam version except the achievements. Gameplay and the content will be the same and the price range will be very fair. This download page will still be free and will get updates even after Steam release! (I GOTTA PAY MY COLLEGE FEE!)

So... yeah... There will be some bug fixes too. Like Mio's Enhanced Spell 2 now actually does something.

Hello there travelers! I'm currently exam-free! That means I can spent more time on my game! I was working on changing the entire faceset for my game. It took way too much time to edit all of them and replace the current ones. I've encountered some problems when doing that so, like having some blue screen of deaths prevented my progress and had to format my PC in that time. I hope everything is in right place now... Let's get into patch notes!

ADDED

All characters even NPCs now have portraits now. Created about 150+ NPC Faces
You can now go to Cloud Cafe if you're in Bad/Neutral post-game
Added new NPCs to some areas, like Trin Island

CHANGES

Most shopping NPCs now have characteristic features and more dialogues
Some overworld map sprites are changed
Toned down some swear words, they were... inappropriate
Fixed a 5 years old typo in miner's fate event
Dark Spear now has the correct animation

SKILL CHANGES

Juliet's Booster skills and Treephop's Anapanasati skills got buffed
Duran now starts with a "Self Cure" spell, only works in battle
Treephop now starts with "Risky Punch" and "Wind Punch"
"Shadow Kick" now deals 2 times damage
Juliet now starts with "Health Giver"
Mio's "Enhance Spell" now allows triple cast
Hiban's "Focus" now allows double cast

FIXES

Fixed crash in the spoiler side quest's cutscene
Fixed an issue with the invisible fountain... on the post good ending

Happy flu and cold day everyone! *cough* Ahhh... I'm so sick ;_; Today's update will expand the "Good" route and make it better! Let's join Duran's journey once again! This update will not expand Aquana route or BAD/NEUTRAL route.

ADDED

14 new maps (after getting the good ending) and 1 new prologue map
2 new bosses (one very annoying MEGA boss)
5 armors (4 of them were unobtainable on the previous versions, now you can get them)
Pre-postgame for the good ending is now completed, so many new dialogues!

CHANGES

New title screen! Big thanks to Eda Esenturk, her black and white hourglass and my edits made wonders!
Extended the intro cutscene for the new game a bit.
Intro cutscene library now has some intresting (not) interactions
You can no longer do Qual's Side Quest or Recruit Qual when you complete the game (Story wise edit)
Boat remote now goes to East Seran Coast
Consumable and Scrolls now in the first tab
All character faces are replaced with their MV parts
A better Save/Load screen

IF YOUR CHARACTER IS IN POSTGAME DON'T WORRY, JUST MAKE A COPY OF A SONG THEN RENAME IT TO WHICH ERROR YOU GOT~

In this update, Shattered Hourglass got new MUSIC! Almost entire music library has changed but some familiar tunes stayed! It took 3 entire days to change all of it, I had to edit all of my events and test it out if there is any error on it. I hope I'm not missing any and crash your games... It's a very tricky thing to do when all of your music library got renamed and changed lol

Good Ending now has pretty little pre-post game! (Use your Good Ending Token for it!)
1 new map for the post good ending
Added about 45+ new music and get rid of 95% of my old music
Haunted House now raided by "Zombie X" and that place is no longer safe! (1 new monster)

Pixies are renamed as Fairies, duh!!!
Zombiemesh's battler is now smaller for fitting the battle screen...
