Added:

* Now you can access Arena if you've visited Chronix and talked to specific NPC, sadly you can only beat first level of Arena right now and you can't purchase stuff with Arena points. New update will solve this issue!
* Icywland general shop now selling some weapons much cheaper, and new Ice Claws! Grab your gear and beat that evil Oni!
* A new side quest that you can travel to the future, you can access this side quest after recruiting Qual's party and you must buy the Mercenary upgrade for your house.
* 4 Items, 5 Weapons, 8 Armors and 20 Enemies
* 6 Maps
* 4 Track
* New Quizzes!
* Fountain is now upgradable, makes %50 Cooldown on Gold Coin drop.

Taking a break

Hello Time Travelers! It's been a quite tiring month for me, a lot stuff fixed and improved, raised level cap, made new skills (Database got 650 skills, not even kidding), made new patches, reworked with the last cutscenes for each decision you've made, checked every monsters' abilities for any errors, bugs etc. Added new music, new sounds, a new boss, some background notes, balanced items. Everything is working flawless right now start to end...

So yeah, I'm tired ;_; For this week and probably adding next week there will be no new version, except if any critical bug needs to be fixed I can add a new version. I'll be goofin' around and check other people's games

There are still work to do with Arena and upcoming side quest. Until then take care all!

*End game tokens now shows "Ending cutscene"

*Fixed Chrono Sphere skill, it's not healing enemies anymore.

*A new karma event if you've rescued Fisherman.
*Title screen's visuals improved.
*General grammar improve.
*Cutscene repeat has been fixed in Player House, if you have saved your game inside of the "player house" please save outside of the player house or the cutscene occures and you may be trapped inside of the player house.
*Sephiroth got a new battler model and his attacks slightly deals more damage.
*Hasted Orc now attacks again, he can't be able to attack in previous versions.
*Fire Keeper is now %100 more annoying, and his HP got buffed a bit.
*Triple Punch was pretty OP ability so it's nerfed a bit, it's not dealing defense ignoring damage anymore and deals less damage.
*Mana up now gives +5 MAX MP. (before +10)
*Fire Lord's HP reduced by 5000 and made a weakness, that fight won't be 30 minute anymore, I hope so!
*Fixed travelling merchant's sprite change.

v1.18 Notes:
*Offensive mastery "Passives" now changes your characters basic attacks, example; you've equipped "Claw Mastery", your regular attacks with Claw becomes much stronger and it's animation will be different, for Magic users basic attacks now deals combined ATK + MATK damage with "Passive" masteries. Thief classes gain bonus damage for agility and luck, etc.
*Defensive masteries now grants stat bonuses, like MAX HP, DEF, MDEF boost.
*General improvement on grammar.
*Fixed the cutscene repeat in Dark Tunnel, this will only happens when you forget to get 5.th Character (Cursed Eagle).
*Updated Haunted Mansion item seller, he's now selling "Arrow".
*Fixed the "When you are in under effect of save disable event and used Teleport Scroll, you can't save anymore"
*"Wind Booster"'s icon changed.
*Skill Crystal now teaches Zulwhern's Attack modifier.

v1.17 Notes:
*With the release of v1.15, you can learn your missing skills in Woodchoppers Camp, touch the crystal near of the inn.
*Fixed the Seran Inn's missing file.
*Fixed some stats of bosses.

v1.15 Notes:
*Menu and Status now shows "Exp" bar.
*Party Exp Bar colors are changed to Yellow.
*White/Dark/Grey Knight now has a state.
*Archery skills are now using "Arrows" as it's cost.
*Bomb skills are using "Bomb" item as it's cost.
*Juliet's element infusion skills now changing her attack pattern.
*Bombs and Arrows are now avaible in shops through middle of the Chapter II.

*Bloodserker now learns "Blood Rock Force" in level 15 and "Blood Quake Force" in level 35.
*Swift Archer now learns "Fury Cloak" in level 23 and "Furious Wind Cloak" in level 35.
*Thief now learns "Flaming Bomb" in level 23, "Water Bomb" in level 24, "Thunder Bomb" in level 26, "Healing Bomb" in level 28, "Water Bomb +" in level 31, "Thunder Bomb +" in level 33, "Dark Bomb +" in level 35.
*Time Mage now learns "Lightning Speed -" in start of the game and "Perfect Flashback" in level 35.
*Meatshield now learns "Healing Breeze III" in level 28, "Wall of Reflection +" in level 33 and "Unbreakable" in level 35.

Boom chakalaka, Shattered Hourglass is fully released.

After long days, weeks, months and a year, I've finished the Shattered Hourglass (yay!).
Game's content a bit extended, I was planning to make a 10 hours long game but it twiced itself. I've had a great time when making my first game. Making bosses hard as possible was the one thing I loved, hell... all RPG games must have a challenging bosses, that's why they are called "Bosses". Who loves itty bitty bosses that you can just auto attack and win?
Back to topic, the main story line is finished but I still need to add some stuff, so my job is not finished yet. I'll make a "To do list" here, so I never forget what to do.

Upcoming Features:
*A side-quest for going Robot Dome.
*More furnitures for player house, also a room is missing in house, I'm thinking what kind of room should I make, probably will be a mini game room.
*Growing crops, gathering them and selling for gold.
*An Arena for required Job Classes.
*More bosses for silly mode, there is none in Chapter III :(

Just an another patch~

Hi there RMN :3 I hope all of you doing good and making great games ^.^

While my country is in silent protest against goverment I'll explain the new patch's content. ^.^

*Almost all the game files compressed, such as Audio, Animations, Battlebacks. I just made my game 130mb smaller! :3
*Some spacing, unnecessary capitilazing on words are fixed. Chapter I's dialogues reworked, Chapter II is on the way.
*Optional karma events in world map are now animated, you'll notice the question mark animation on top of that events.
*Added an item that Exploits enemy weaknesses and States. You can buy them in all the Chapter I's towns, just for 50 Gold.
*Made some changes on skills, Treephop now learns a new Anasapati skill in early levels. For the other party members skills just some of them reworked, nothing added or removed.
*Some bosses were lack of ending animation, speech, I've added some visuals on them.
*Floating trees on maps are fixed.
*Fixed the high random encounters.
*Added a new shopping center in Chapter III, you buy new furnitures, usable items. Also you can trade your "Golden Coins" to get unique weapon, armor, accessory.
*Added Chapter I's world map coast tiles. Even if you don't use boat in Chapter I, it'll provide a good sight.
*A side quest added for recruiting people.
*Zulwhern's battler model and face model is replaced with this one.
*Removed the -Dash disabler- thing on some maps. (After the 50th update? :P)
*Difficulty choices are remaked a bit, in game's main folder there is a new read me.txt for getting better information about what does the difficulty choices do.

I might missed some points, it really doesn't matter, I'd fun with the changes, take good care all RMN folk. ^.^

(Requires v0.92)
Almost everyone was complained about my game's default difficulty. Of course it's a difficult game but with new difficulty choices = less frustration, more fun!

In the main menu you can change the difficulty.



Soft : %25 Easier, -%25 Gold and Exp Rate.
Casual: %15 Easier, -%15 Gold and Exp Rate.
Normal: Default Rates.
Hardcore: %30 Harder, %30 Gold and %15 Drop Rate.
Sadistic: %60 Harder, %60 Gold and %30 Drop Rate.

Evolution of Shattered Hourglass

Hi dear RMN :*

A lot has changed since the last version 0.88 released, trees, tiles, maps, skills, bosses, save game details, sprites, battlers, world map mini characters and character images. (Also the size of my game...scares me)

I'll spoil the some changes I've done...and no, I'm not going to talk or spoil about added weapons or monsters:

Finally we got a tutorial page.


Duran's skillset has changed, he's now using Time Magic to heal people, at least this makes sense now lol.

Suan's image and sprite has changed, (Don't steal my Robot's image! I worked hard to steal this image from deviantart and converted to VXACE! :D) also it has a new skillset called Imitate, you can learn enemy skills by that, for now there is only 6 skill to steal, try to find and learn them!

Also all party members will be have a unique state soon. (Depends on Actor/Class)


Save slots are now gives more information, (Collectable books are on the way ^.^)

Hell, It's been a wild week...I guess I need a little rest. I've been thinking, fixing, making my game better everyday also improving myself just for you guys. When I first started this project I was clueless about how to put a NPC in town, changing tiles, or making a parallax map. Funny thing is now I learned Photoshop, CSS, Ruby thanks to my game! One step closer to release

Hello again dear RMN.

I'm getting closer to release of Shattered Hourglass, it's gonna be craaaaaazyyyy!
As I always do I'm gonna share some news for you folks.

Chapter III is full of optional stuff, why don't we use our boat to free roam?
